ring Standard NES Zinc Coating (Hot-Dipped) on Steel Plates and Steel Strips for Automobiles Materials epecfied in this NES must conform fo NES M0301 "Substance Use Restrictions". 4. SCOPE (1) This Standard species hotipped zinc coating ste! sheets and sirps (renafer refered to as ste! sheets. When itis necessary to dsingush between stool sheets and siee! sits, they sal be refered 104s sheets and cols, respectively) used forthe automobiles in Nisan block. (2) The orginal sheets of stew! sheets shal be ether cooled orhotroled orginal {@) Steel shoots ofthe RP slancard shal apply to te regions where purchese is available thrcugh steel manufactures in Japan and North Amores approved by Nissan. Further, stool sheets ofthe SP etan- dard in to rogions where the RP standard can apply are sessed oe a standard alowing eaninucus tse only when thera isa tack rcord of placing an crt. Thre shal be no new adoption of SP stan- dard steel inthis spect region, (Sina stool manuacurers may not supply appicable materials, tee 'ypes shal be cetermined in cooperation wh tne Purchase Department) ‘This Standard shall basicaly apply to new vehicles ushg see ypes determined at Steel Decision Meetings after Ocicber 2000 2. STEEL SHEET SPECIFICATIONS AND SYMBOL SYSTEM ‘Specifications of the cold-roled stes! sheet and the hot-rolled steel shest shall have two standard types, the RP standard (severe specications for thickness tolerance) and SP stendard (convontional thickness tolerance).
