REMOVING - REFITTING : DASHBOARD HARNESS

ESSENTIAL : Observe the safety and cleanliness recommendations .

1. Tooling

Tool Reference Description


[1350-ZZ] Stripping tools

2. Removing
Disconnect the ancillaries battery .
Remove the dashboard .

CAUTION : Identify the routing of the electrical harness .

CAUTION : When disconnecting, ensure that the connectors are released correctly ; When connecting, check the routing and
clipping of the electrical harnesses.

CAUTION : Disconnecting the connectors has to be done without exerting any stress on the electrical harnesses or the
connectors (No pulling on the harnesses is permitted).

Disconnect the connectors of the electrical harness (1).


Unclip ; Using the [1350-ZZ] tool :
The clips retaining the electrical harness (1)
The securing straps of the electrical harness (1)

Remove the electrical harness (1).

3. Refitting

CAUTION : Always replace : The securing straps of the electrical harness (1) ; The damaged clips.

CAUTION : Refit the electrical harness (1) in accordance with the routing noted prior to removal.

Refit the electrical harness (1).


Clip :
The clips retaining the electrical harness (1)
The securing straps of the electrical harness (1)

Connect the electrical harness (1) connectors.


Refit the dashboard .
Proceed in the reverse order to removal.
Reconnect the ancillaries battery .
Check the operation of the various equipment.
