Java Technical Lead

LATAM REMOTE.

Ideally, you have 7+ years of experience and at least 2+ years in a role doing the following:

• Developing web services. From taking others' ideas, building, and deploying an MVP, and
managing feedback and feature changes.
• Leading 5-to-10-member team of Software Engineers
• Helping in the estimation of projects.
• Solid experience with technologies like Java/J2EE Spring, and Spring Boot - design &
development of high-volume, high-performance, high-availability, service-oriented Java
applications using proven Java frameworks & technologies.
• Performing requirement analysis.
• Developing high-quality and detailed designs.
• Conducting unit testing using automated unit test frameworks.
• Identifying risk and conducting mitigation action planning.
• Conducting configuration of your work.
• Reviewing the work of other developers and providing feedback.
• Using coding standards and best practices to ensure quality. · Identify and develop reusable
framework component
• Creating but also working with 3rd party API integrations. Commonly REST. GraphQL
experience is also nice to have.
• Strong experience in designing and developing microservices and reactive systems.
• Strong debugging skills
• Strong experience with using SQL and No-SQL databases.
• Experience with a queue system like RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ, Kafka, AWS SQS, SNS, or using
Redis or any other in-memory cache/database for that job.
• Expertise in Cloud hosting solutions. AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Hands-on experience in design patterns and containerized applications.
• Experience in building scalable and highly available distributed systems.
• Superior communication skills (both verbal and written) that both existing and future clients will
benefit from.
• Strong attitude towards learning, upskilling, and reskilling

Nice-to-Haves:
• Experience with domains like Insurtech, FinTech, Healthcare, E-commerce, Retail, IoT or the QSR
industry.
• Willing to travel to client locations domestically and internationally (if required).
• Related DevOps/CI tools experience (e.g. Bitbucket pipeline, Gitlab Pipeline, Azure DevOps,
GitHub Actions, Circle Ci, Jenkins, etc.)
• Experience working with Indian/US/UK client.
