 I. INTRODUCTION A. Questionnaire and Surveyor

In today's digital world, the rise of deepfake
technology presents both fascinating possibilities and
significant threats. Deepfakes, which use artificial
intelligence to create highly realistic but fake videos
and audio, can disrupt our perception of reality. This
technology can convincingly depict individuals
saying or doing things they never did, posing serious
risks to personal privacy, reputation, and public trust.
Regarding this report, the assignment progressed
smoothly, and everything is under control, with the
deadline met on time.
This task was assigned to Aminn, Hafiz, and
Iqbal, who were responsible for creating
questionnaires and analysing the results to assess
society's understanding of deep fakes. They received
around 40 responses, which should be sufficient to
synthesise findings on people's views of deep fakes.
The respondents included students, lecturers, and
individuals from outside UTM, providing a diverse
sample to evaluate the probability of people being
aware of the effects of deep fakes.

project. This task was eventually undertaken by
Hazmi and Firdaus, who are creating questions and
conducting interview sessions based on the most
significant respondents' results, which are crucial for
understanding deepfake technologies. The progress is
ongoing, as they need to perform some video editing
to ensure the best output for the interview sessions
later in this assignment.

Achievable results and proper time-line

planning was created and with high team-working
spirit and cooperation, the progress would be finished
according to the time frame.

For every task, a folder was created on

Google Drive to ensure everyone could review each
other's progress and review their tasks. This helps
minimise mistakes and improve progress and
planning, ensuring everyone stays on the right track.

IV. CONCLUSION

In conclusion, everything is on the right

track, and the assignment is approximately 70%
complete. This progress greatly benefits the group
members by providing a solid foundation for creating
the final report and making any necessary
adjustments and corrections as the assignment
progresses.
