Purpose
The main purpose of this study is to investigate the correlation between millennials who have chosen
to remain childfree and their level of financial stability.

Design/Methodology/Approach
This study used purposive sampling to select Childfree Millennial residents of General Trias City,
Cavite as participants. Also, this research utilized correlational study, according to Bhandari (2021), a
correlational research design investigates relationships between variables without the researcher
controlling or manipulating any of them. This can be used to gather in-depth insights into the problem
or generate the connections of ideas for the research. This was employed in this study to find out how
the childfree people’s financial stability contributes with their decision to have no child for the time
being.

Findings
The study's findings show that there is no statistically significant relationship between millennials'
financial capabilities, specifically in terms of their savings, and their decision to have a child.

Research Limitations/Implications
Only people who have opted to put off having children and are between the ages of 27 and 42 are the
study's focal subjects. Only those who are employed and reside in General Trias City, Cavite, are
eligible for the study. Additionally, the researchers include the millennials who work outside of the
specified location yet live in General Trias City, Cavite. The primary method for data collection will
involve the administration of survey questionnaires to eligible respondents.

Originality/Value
This information provides valuable insight that can help raise awareness about individuals who choose
to remain childfree. These individuals frequently face societal challenges, and knowing their
experiences can help build empathy and support for those making such decisions.

Sonny Andrie S. Talento

Hello, I'm Sonny Andrie S. Talento, a 17-year-old residing in the

vibrant Heneral Dos Subdivision of Hugo Perez, Trece Martires,
Cavite. I came into this world on May 26, 2006, securing my role
as the second child in our family. My days are often filled with the
joy of singing, the rhythm of dance, and the immersive escape that
novels provide. Interestingly, despite my deep love for K-pop
music, I find myself grappling with the complexities of
mathematics. As I journey through my 12th year of secondary
education at Luis Y. Ferrer Jr. Senior High School, I've chosen to
specialize in Humanities and Social Science.

Maintaining a good academic record has been a personal mission, and I take pride in
being a consistent honor student. Last school year (2022-2023), I made it to the With
Honors list, and in the current semester of Grade 12, I achieved With High Honor.
My commitment to academic excellence drives me to aim for the same in the
upcoming semester. In the academic area, my research study garnered recognition as
the first-ever champion at the Lyceum of the Philippines University - Cavite's 1st
Inter-Senior High School Research Competition. I had the privilege of being the
research presenter, and I also clinched the title of Best Research Presenter - Rank 1 at
our school's event, LuisSalikSeek 2023. Outside the academic sphere, my passion for
leadership is evident in my role as the Secretary of the Supreme Secondary Learner
Government (SSLG) for the academic year 2023-2024.

Additionally, as an active member of the Journalism Club, we secured third place in

the Division Schools Press Conference 2023 for Best Developmental
Communication. Dancing is more than a hobby for me; it's a way to express myself. I
am part of the Tinag Dangalika Dance Troupe in our school, and the pinnacle of our
achievements was claiming the First Runner Up title at the Valenciana Festival -
Street Dancing and Field Presentation in December 2023. The special awards,
including Best in Costume, Best in Introduction, and Best in Theme/Concept, added
to the honor of the achievement. Leading others is not just a skill for me; it's a true
passion. As a leader, I aim to inspire with a genuine heart and unwavering
dedication. This commitment is reflected in my role in the SSLG and various other
activities. In the future, I dream of pursuing a Bachelor of Education: Major in
English, as I am drawn to the prospect of making a positive impact in the field of
education and beyond. Grateful for the opportunities I've had so far and excited for
what the future holds, I march forward with determination and hard work, aiming to
leave a lasting, positive mark on the world.

In addition to my academic and extracurricular achievements, I also take pride in the

personal qualities that define who I am. I am known for my unwavering dedication
and perseverance, always ready to face challenges with a positive and resilient
mindset. My ability to maintain a balance between my passions and responsibilities

showcases my organizational and time management skills. Being a constant source

of support for my peers, I've cultivated a reputation for being approachable and
empathetic. I believe in fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment, where
everyone feels valued and heard. This mindset extends to my role as Secretary of the
Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG), where I strive to be a voice for
my fellow students. Creativity is another aspect that defines my character. Whether
it's choreographing dance routines or contributing innovative ideas to group projects,
I enjoy thinking outside the box. This creative flair not only enriches my personal
experiences but also enhances the quality of my contributions to various endeavors. I
am grateful for my curiosity and the eagerness to learn from every opportunity that
comes my way. This hunger for knowledge fuels my academic pursuits and propels
me to explore diverse interests. As a result, I am not only a well-rounded student but
also someone who seeks continuous growth and self-improvement. In the journey
ahead, I am excited to further develop these qualities, knowing that they will
contribute not only to my personal success but also to the positive impact I aspire to
make in the field of education and beyond.

explored her passion for science as a writer and competitor in Science Investigatory
Projects (SIP).

Transitioning to Luis Y. Ferrer Jr. West National High School (LYFJWNHS) in

General Trias, I continued to excel academically. My passion for science persisted as
I maintained my role as a science writer. In fact, my school's publication made an
impressive achievement, securing 4th place in the science page in the prestigious
National School's Press Conference held in Tuguegarao in 2019. My contributions to
the publication further showcased my exceptional writing skills and dedication to the
field of science. Moreover, my involvement in Science Investigatory Projects
continued, although my plans to compete in a specific invention were thwarted by
the unfortunate circumstances of the COVID-19 pandemic. And now, two years after
the pandemic, I am now a Grade 12 student at Luis Y. Ferrer Jr. Senior High School
(LYFJSHS) in the Humanities and Social Sciences (HUMSS) strand of the academic
program.
