Social integration and social networks are closely related and both are essential to our daily
existence. While social integration guarantees our position within the greater whole, social
networks offer resources and support. Together, they promote wellbeing and a feeling of
community. Social integration the act of people joining a wider social fabric while social
networks are vital for promoting. . Social networks facilitate social integration by providing
support, connecting individuals, and influencing behaviors.

The link between social network, social network analysis and the social
sciences fields and other disciplines is social networks serve as the foundation while
social Network Analysis provides the analytical tools, and the social sciences apply these insights
to understand human behavior and societal structures.
4.Why is Social Network Analysis part of the study of network? State its relevance.

Social Network Analysis (SNA) is an analytical method used to study social structures through
the use of networks . It identifies the relationships between individuals, organizations, or other
entities and examines the patterns and implications of these relationships.SNA provides a lens
through which we can explore social dynamics, resource distribution, and communication
patterns within networks. Whether it’s studying friendships, business relationships, or online
interactions, SNA enhances our understanding of interconnected systems.Social Network
Analysis involves various techniques to understand the structure and patterns of relationships
among actors(people, organizations, etc.) in a network.

and/or phenomena? Explain.

I would use Social network analysis in understanding and solving social


issues/phenomena by understanding social phenomena, identifying influential actors, and
devising strategies to address social issues. Whether it’s mapping collaboration ecosystems or studying
personal networks, SNA provides insights that can drive positive change.By understanding these
connections, we gain valuable insights for problem-solving and decision-making. SNA is an effective
technique. Through the exploration of an organization's or network's underlying structure, we
may determine the formal and informal ties that underpin the formal procedures and outputs.
This realization can lead to improved teamwork, easier change management, and improved
communication.
