ACKNOWLEDGMENT
With deepest gratitude and appreciation, the interns humbly thank
the people who help them make the internship possible.
To the Provincial Assessor’s Office and staff, especially to Sir
Jeffrey L. Uyam, for the warm welcome and for being part of the
internship. Their support, guidance, and advice improve our skills and
knowledge to be competent in delivering public service.
To Ma’am Grace Esmeralda L. Dong-as, Internship Adviser and
Program Chairperson of Public Administration, for her full support and
supervision of the students of Public Administration and for her patience
in monitoring the interns' progress during their internship. Also, being a
second mother to us.
Unfathomed gratitude to our parents for their love, guidance,
unconditional and favorable moral and financial support.

III. Introduction
A college course that aims to educate and equip students for their
future careers must have an internship component. Teaching students
about their chosen professions and exposing them to the working world
is essential. Additionally, it gives students a chance to experience
valuable real-world employment. A student acquires real-world
experience while gaining the necessary skills. Students' performance in
actual workplace settings throughout the internship also helps them pick
up valuable skills and information. The student can apply what they
learned in school and learn more about their area of interest during the
internship. It helps to raise the trainee's degree of proficiency. When a

student is proficient enough, it is understood that they can finish
assignments satisfactory. One's professionalism in interpersonal
interactions can be improved through this internship. Following the
internship, the intern will be able to handle situations skillfully and
comprehend how to get along with his co-workers.

VI. Challenges and Learning Experiences
The on-the-job training is one of the way to ensure someone's performance efficiency.
In every ojt's life we always encounter circumstances, that brother and prove
everyone's capability and patients in terms in their given workloads.
We have here some of the challenges that being encountered :
 Distructions- interruptions and other destructions in the workplace
can make it challenging for trainees to focus on their training.
 Different learning styles- not all students to learn in the same way
which can make it difficult for trainings the effectively engaged all
trainees.
We also have here the learnings and experiences:
 The on the job training allows us students to learn a lot and to learn
through hands on experiences.
 Gaining confidence, it is where successfully completing the given
tasks and mastering new skills during the on the job training that
can help us boost self confidence and morale.
Over all, while we were on-the-job training, may present its own set of
challenges that can be a valuable learning experiences for a students and
also a great opportunity to be able to experience on how to be a
government employee.
