1. Read the Constitution of La Liga Filipina and fill out the graphic organizer on how to these

aims could be attained.

HOW THESE AIMS COULD BE ATTAINED?


AIMS (Based on the Constitution of La Liga Filipina)
To unite the whole archipelago into one • Establish a network of Popular Councils, Provincial Councils, and
compact, vigorous, and homogeneous body. the Supreme Council to connect local communities and facilitate
communication.
• Implement a system of dues collection to support the Liga
Filipina's activities and promote a sense of unity among
members.
• Foster a culture of cooperation and mutual aid among members
through regular meetings, shared goals, and collective problem-
solving.
• Encourage members to adopt a new name and identity to
symbolize their membership in the Liga Filipina and promote a
sense of belonging.
Mutual protection in every want and • Establish a system of financial support for members in need,
necessity such as a relief fund or emergency assistance program.
• Encourage members to look out for each other's well-being and
safety, and establish a system for reporting concerns or threats.
• Provide training and resources for members on self-defense, first
aid, and other essential skills.
• Establish relationships with other organizations or individuals
who can provide additional support or resources.
Defense against all violence and injustice. • Establish a militia or self-defense force composed of Liga Filipina
members to protect against external threats.
• Develop a system for early warning and response to potential
threats, including monitoring news and reports of violence or
injustice.
• Provide legal support and advocacy for members who have been
affected by violence or injustice.
• Establish relationships with government officials, community
leaders, and other stakeholders to promote peaceful conflict
resolution and social justice.
Encouragement of instruction, agriculture, • Establish educational programs and scholarships for members,
and commerce. including literacy classes, vocational training, or access to higher
education.
• Provide resources and training for agricultural development,
such as seed banks, tools, or expertise sharing.
