that use historical thinking skills (comparison, continuity and change over time,
cause and effect, multiple perspectives, etc.) to the host of the review (Snoddy,
Caudle, or Gordon) by 5pm the day of the review session. You must take at least
a page of typed outline notes during the session and submit them with your final
project. You must turn on your camera and keep it on for the duration of the
session. You must remain active in the session until it ends. Zoom records your
time in the session. All hour-long sessions begin at 7pm and will be an overview of
each unit with a Q&A period time permitting.
To earn credit for an in-person session, email two detailed questions about the
unit that use historical thinking skills (comparison, continuity and change over
time, cause and effect, multiple perspectives, etc.) to the host of the review
(Snoddy, Caudle, or Gordon) by 8am the day of the review session. You must
take at least a page of typed outline notes during the session and submit them
with your final project. You may not arrive late or leave early. You will be required

THIRD ACTIVITY: College Board On-Demand Review Videos (Review Sessions) on

AP Classroom (Limit 2)
After viewing each review video, provide at least a page of outline notes (typed)
of the information presented focusing especially on how the concepts and
information might be applied to potential free response questions. You must
include a photo of yourself with the review session screen as proof of viewing.
You may use videos from the 2021 or 2022 set of on-demand content review
videos in AP Classroom.
FOURTH ACTIVITY: Gilder-Lehrman Video Reviews (Limit 2)
Gilder-Lehrman reviews of periods 2-8. View the review video on the Gilder-
Lehrman website for your chosen unit here:
https://ap.gilderlehrman.org/
Then, complete the review sheet that can be found here:

x1Cb2PLOV6VZNGBH6fGpw_BGSUlodpIg/edit?usp=sharing
You may complete a total of 2 for credit for the exam review grade, but you are
free to view as many of the review videos as you would like.

FIFTH ACTIVITY: Create Your Own DBQ (Limit 2)

Create your own DBQ. Look through your study guides for Units 2-8. Select one of
the Critical Thinking/Essay Questions from the back of the study guide that you
have not already done in class as a DBQ. Then, select seven short primary source
documents that could be used to help answer that question. Remember that one
of your documents must be a visual document (art, photo, graph, chart, political
cartoon, etc.). Create an outline answer to the DBQ you have made. Write a thesis
statement, then outline your major paragraphs with a topic sentence, which
documents you would use, and one piece of outside information (not included in
the documents) as well as expanded analysis for three documents (POV, HC,
Audience, Purpose). You may complete a maximum of two DBQs.

SIXTH ACTIVITY: Chronology Activity (Limit 1)

Decades Matching Activity: Your teacher will provide you with an activity (Decade
by Decade Matching in the CTLS resources folder) in which you must match a set
of important historical events to the correct decade in which they occurred. The
decades begin with the 1760s and go through the 2000s. Because this activity
covers all the units, you may count it for whatever unit you need to complete
your reviews activities for Units 2-8. Include a printout of the document with
CORRECT answers for full credit. Accuracy matters! You may check your answers
with your teacher prior to submission.

SEVENTH ACTIVITY: Argumentation in Writing Practice Session during WEB on

April 10 (Limit 1)
Attend the argumentation practice session during Blocks A and B or C and D on
April 10 in Room 233. Complete the provided practice worksheet and submit it

participate in the activity throughout the session.

EIGHTH ACTIVITY: College Board On-Demand Practice Session Videos on AP

(typed) of the information presented focusing especially on how you will use the
strategies to answer that particular type of question (MCQ, SAQ, LEQ or DBQ) on
the AP Exam. You must include a photo of yourself with the review session screen
as proof of viewing. You may use videos from the 2023 or 2024 set of on-demand
content review videos in AP Classroom. The 2024 videos will become available
starting on April 22.
