Take a seat and sit next to me, I become overwhelmed by the smallest

sound,
But not too close, I have ASD
Clicking pens, ticking clocks

A girl sitting quietly is all you see That boy's chair and the way it rocks

Different smells attacking me,

But inside my mind, I am far from free
The food, the coffee, the teacher's tea.

My thoughts collide, and my senses take over,

I may seem heartless and question your

I become overwhelmed by the smallest sound,

It can make me anxious, angry, and afraid But it takes me a little longer to process

the feelings.
But this stays in my head, on my face it's not

displayed.
