RESULT NOTICE . ARS.2O23 (WRITTENI EXAMINATION

Result of Agricultural Research Service (ARS)-2023 (Written)

Examination hetd on 23'd December, 2023 has been declared and the
discipline-wise provisional list of candidates short-listed for Personal
Interview is annexed herewith (Annexure-I).

2. The short-listed candidates are required to upload documents as

mentioned in Annexure-Il of this Result Notice in the link to be made
available at ASRB's website, failing which the candidature of the candidate
will be cancelled. Link in this regard will be made available at ASRB's
website w.e.f. 19th June, 2024 which shall remain active upto 1"t JulY,
29124 till O5.OO PM, thereafter, submission of documents will not be
accepted.

3. The criteria for distribution of marks for Research Accomplishments is

enclosed at Annexure-Ill.

4. The schedule for Personal Interview will be notified separately. The

candidates are advised to regularly visit the Board's website for
requisite updates. The Interview call letters will be issued to the short-listed
ca.rdidates only through their registered e-mail address given in the

made bg post. If any candidate fails to receive the interview e-mail 10 davs

the Examination Section, ASRB on phone no. 011-25848172 Extension 202.
Further instructions/ information regarding Interview will be issued in due
course.

5. The appearance of a candidate in the Personal Interview will be purely

provisional. If at any stage, the Board finds that the candidate does not fulfil
any of the prescribed eligibility conditions, his/her candidature is liable to be
rejected. The candidates are also advised to go through the eligibility
conditions as mentioned in the ASRB's Notification for Agricultural Research
Service (ARS) Examination-2O23 [No. 1(8) 12o23-Exam dated 17.O5.2O23).

CRITERIA FOR DISTRIBUTION OF MARKS FOR

RESEARCH
(Maximum marks - 4Ol

1. Research publications:

. Three best research papers will be considered.

. The first author would be given lOOo/o weightage and other authors
would get 50% weightage.
o Sum of NAAS scores of the research papers multiplied by 0.4167
would be the marks scored.

For example, for three papers as first author with NAAS score 8 each,
the marks will be calculated as (8+a+3; x 0.4167 = 10. Similarly, if a
candidate has two papers as first author with NAAS score 8, 6 and
third paper as co-author with NAAS score 7, tll,en the marks scored
will be [8+6+(7 x 0.5)] x O.4167 = 7.292.

In case a publication is not covered in the NAAS listed journal, the

Thomson Reuters Impact Factor would be considered (NAAS score :
Impact Factor + 6.0).

2. For each patent granted, the candidate will get 4.0 marks.

3. For each Copyright/ Design/ Trademark, the candidate will get 1.0
mark (maximum of 3.0 marks).
