The Renovo Workfriend App is available free of charge on all Android and Apple devices
giving you single click access to all of the resources in your Workfriend account on your
mobile or tablet, anytime, anywhere.

How do I access the App?

You will then need to log into Workfriend and go to the ‘My Profile’ section and

DASHBOARD - ONLINE WORKSHOPS

Access a range of live online workshops presented by our team of Career Coaches on
topics such as:

Creating and optimising your LinkedIn profile

Utilising LinkedIn in your job search
All you need to know about interviews
Winning CVs and cover letters
Effective online job searching
Working with recruiters
Accessing the hidden job market
Working for yourself

These can be accessed through the “online workshops” module on your dashboard. Just
click on the date and time you want to register for and enter your email address. You will
then be emailed a link that you need to click on 5-10 minutes before the presentation is
due to start. All you need is your computer and speakers (If you do not have speakers on
your computer you can alternatively use your telephone, calls charged at local rate).

The CV Builder can be reached by using the ‘My Tools’ tab at the top of the page or via
the CV/Application module. The CV builder is a fantastic tool if you have never created a
CV before or just not sure about putting one together for today’s job market.

There are video, audio and written resources to help you at each stage of the process.

Search Alert Data, the UK’s leading company business intelligence database which can
be accessed through the menu on the ‘My Tools’ tab by clicking ‘Company & Industry
Research’.

Search the database for information on specific organisations such as financial

1 information, related news articles and key contacts

Create lists of businesses based on a range of criteria such as industry or location.

Also use an existing list of businesses eg. Times top 100 employers
Source recent presss releases and news articles with leads from businesses

Access up to date recent labour market information and reports. Specific reports

on industries, markets and regions which detail strengths, growth opportunities
and trends

One module on the dashboard gives you access to a range of 14 career assessments.
Whether you have many years of experience or are unsure of your direction, understanding
your motivations, preference, values and working styles can be useful. You can access

Aptitude Testing is becoming an increasingly popular part of an interview process. There

are 12 example tests which can be accessed from the ‘Aptitude Tests’ section under the
‘My Learning’ tab. They cover areas such as numerical, verbal and inductive reasoning.
Practicing these tests will maximise your chances of performing well when it comes to the
real thing. The results are available immediately.
