 Kindly read these instructions before filling the online form for Bible test 2024
Candidates are advised to read these instructions for UG MBBS/BDS Admission 2024 available at
website www.cmcludhiana.in under College Admissions 2024 before filling this online form. This
application form is for appearing for UG BIBLE TEST-2024 which is required for candidates applying in
Christian Minority with Service Commitment.
Registration for Bible test alone does not indicate acceptance of application and has no bearing on the
admission; and does not mean that the applicant has met all the eligibility criteria for admission but
indicates only eligibility to appear in the Bible Test
Instructions to fill ONLINE FORM
1. Visit www.cmcludhiana.in Then Navigate to → College Admissions → 2024 →UG MBBS/BDS
2024 → Bible Test → Bible test application online form
2. Click on submit application when visiting first time.
3. Fill your particulars, academic details and a Registration ID and password will be generated. You
will be required to mandatorily change password. Your particulars will be saved after registration
is done, you may edit them till you ‘Final Submit’ the application.
4. You will require the following ‘required documents’ for uploading to appear for Bible Test.
Required documents will be marked with an Asterisk on the portal
Type of file –Image format only JPEG/PNG/GIF size less than 200 kb
- Church Membership certificate
- Baptism Certificate
- Letter of Service Commitment from Body/Church of the CMC Ludhiana Society, signed
by the authorized signatory only as per list given on pages 8 to 10
(In case Letter of Service Commitment is not yet received, you may upload application
sent to Church/Body for sponsorship.
- Domicile certificate
5. Uploading of Photo and Signature of the applicant – Image format only JPEG,PNG,GIF, size less
than 100 kb.
- Candidates are advised to take the photograph with a white background and these should not be
altered by photo-shop or any other software.
- Signatures should be done on a white paper with blue pen and a soft copy to be uploaded.
6. You may also upload other documents if present at the time of filling the online form as shown in
the ‘documents’ tab.
7. After filling the form and uploading mandatory documents you can make payment of Rs.2500 in
the account mentioned under point no. 2 on page 8-9 of this document using any online mode –
NEFT/IMPS/UPI Transfer.
After making payment, fill the details of payment on the payment page. You are allowed to log
out and re login and enter payment details later.
Application can only be submitted after payment details are entered.
8. You can logout and login and can edit the application if required till you do a ‘FINAL SUBMIT’.
The last date of submission of online Bible test application is 11th May, 2024.
9. After submitting the application, Download the filled application, print, sign and send along with
stated enclosures to Registrar, CMC Ludhiana 141008 by courier/hand to reach before 18th
May, 2024.

Undergraduate courses-2024
Admission to MBBS and BDS courses of this institution is on the basis of eligibility
and merit obtained in the NEET (UG) 2024. All the admissions are made with the approval
of Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot, Punjab, to which Christian Medical
College and Christian Dental College are affiliated, and selection guidelines of the
Christian Medical College, Ludhiana. Christian Medical College is recognized by the
Medical Council of India and Christian Dental College by the Dental Council of India.

The primary aim of the Christian Medical College Ludhiana is to make a significant
contribution to the health standards of all communities of our nation with a special
emphasis on health care in the rural underserved and unreached
areas/communities in India. This mandate is fulfilled by our graduates who serve in
such areas after their training.

In keeping with the mandate of the Christian Medical College Ludhiana Society to reach
out to all states with emphasis on the rural underserved and unreached areas /
communities of our nation, to provide training facilities to candidates who will dedicate
themselves to the healthcare of these states they represent, which would otherwise have
been deprived, seats in MBBS and BDS have been earmarked area- wise from States
and Union territories

Open Category
Any candidate irrespective of religion, caste, or domicile and who is an Indian National,
can apply under this category. They are encouraged to serve in the CMC affiliated rural
mission hospitals to understand the basic needs of the country. Such candidates are to
apply directly to Baba Farid University of Health Sciences.

Christian Minority with Service Commitment Category (Category 2)

The Christian candidates applying in this category should clearly indicate this in the
application form and correctly fill the domicile field. Such an application has to be endorsed
by one of the member bodies of the Christian Medical College Ludhiana Society, as per
list given on pages 14 to 16. These candidates are required to apply to the respective
member body with the format available with them and submit a Letter of Service
Commitment issued by this member body of the Christian Medical College Ludhiana
Society to the Registrar, CMC Ludhiana. Such candidates will have to take a Bible Test.
These candidates are encouraged to serve in the rural mission hospitals to understand
the basic needs of the country.

Admission will be entirely on merit, based on NEET (UG) 2024.

Candidates must submit the certificates mentioned below to be considered for admission
in ‘Christian Minority with Service Commitment Category’. The original certificates must
be available at the time of scrutiny of certificates otherwise the candidature will be
cancelled. The following self-attested photocopies should be submitted along with
the application form:

1) Baptism certificate
2) Letter from the Pastor in-charge of the church regarding church membership with dates
(made after 29.02.2024 in the prescribed format See Page 12)

3) A ‘Letter of Service Commitment’ from Body/Church of the CMC Ludhiana Society,

signed by the authorized signatory only. (Page 14-16). The Letter of Service
Commitment, duly signed by the Authorized Signatory should mandatorily reach
Office of the Registrar, CMC Ludhiana by 4th May 2024 to the Office of the Registrar,
CMC Ludhiana.

4) (a) Candidates with service commitment will serve in the Mission Hospitals of the
Christian Medical College Ludhiana Society for a minimum period of 2 years for
MBBS and 1 year for BDS. They are to submit the sworn affidavit of service, duly
notarized (Page 13) at the time of admission.
(b) Further, the said candidates are required to submit the completed Service
Agreement form at the time of admission, failing which admission will not be
considered in that category.

5) Domicile certificate : (For applicants in ‘Christian Minority with Service
Commitment Category’) issued and certified by the competent authority. Submit along
with application for Category 2 {A, B, C, D, E, F and G};

Candidates in other categories can submit the domicile certificate at the time of
Counselling.

Note:1. It is mandatory for all Christian applicants in the ‘Christian Minority

with Service Commitment Category’ to appear for and pass a Bible Test for
considering them under this category. Bible Test marks are NOT considered for
merit preparation. Christian applicants who fail in the Bible test will not be
considered under this category.

2. Applicants are advised to read this Information & Instructions for Bible Test
Application in its entirety, and understand all the requirements while filling the
application. Any error/deficiency in filling the application form and incomplete
supporting documents will result in cancellation of candidature.

Non fulfilment of Service Commitment violates the spirit of service for which CMC
stands for.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR UG ADMISSION 2024

ALL ADMISSIONS SHALL BE BASED ON THE ELIGIBILITY AS PER THE NATIONAL
ELIGIBILITY CUM ENTRANCE TEST (NEET – UG - 2024) AND REGULATIONS OF THE
NATIONAL MEDICAL COMMISSION AND NOTIFICATIONS OF THE GOVERNMENT OF
PUNJAB.

 UG–ADMISSIONS–2024 – Bible Test

All Christian candidates applying in ‘Christian Minority with Service Commitment Category’ have
to appear for a Bible Test. The Bible Test will be held as Computer based test at designated test
centres. The date of the Bible Test will be duly notified on institutional website
www.cmcludhiana.in

Test pattern:
The Bible Test for Christian applicants for consideration in ‘Christian Minority with Service
Commitment category’ will be of multiple choice type with 3 choices each. There will be 50
questions, based on facts from the Holy Bible (English Language only). There will be no negative
marking for wrong answers.

Test pattern: Computer based test at designated test centres.

Test Centre Cities: Chennai, Delhi, Kochi, Kolkata, Mohali, Mumbai.

Candidates must indicate in the online application form their choices of centres for taking the
Bible Test 2024. Candidates have to give 2 choices of cities. The filling of second choice of test
city cannot be the same. In case of unforeseen and unavoidable circumstances where a test city
has to be cancelled, the office will have the right to allot any centre, as per the choices given by
the applicant

Date of Test: 16th June 2024* Time: 1:30 PM*

Candidates must have a Government Approved ID/Aadhaar Card/School Photo ID/Voter
ID/Passport/PAN Card with them.
Hall Ticket :
Hall ticket will be provided to all those applicants, whose Bible test application form
has been submitted successfully by the last date 11th May 2024. The name and city
of centre will be written on hall ticket. Such candidates will be eligible to attend the
computer based Bible test 2024 for UG-MBBS/BDS Admissions. (Those candidates
should have received the letter of Service Commitment endorsed by the Authorized
signatory of the member body of the CMC Ludhiana Society and intimated with a
copy to the Office of the Registrar by the 4thMay 2024)

The details of the test and the rules will be available on the website
www.cmcludhiana.in under Admissions 2024.

Only candidates who pass the Bible Test will be eligible for the ‘Christian
Minority with Service Commitment Category’.

 HOW TO SUBMIT APPLICATION
All NEET qualified candidates applying in any Category are required to apply to Baba Farid
University of Health Sciences (State Counselling Authority), as per the details given on
their website, www.bfuhs.ac.in, by the due date.
In addition, candidates applying in the ‘Christian Minority with Service Commitment
Category’ must also apply to CMC Ludhiana using the online application form for Bible
Test application and submit a copy of their submitted application of Baba Farid University
of Health Sciences, to the Registrar, CMC Ludhiana along with their Church Membership
Certificate and Baptism Certificate.
For candidates applying in the ‘Christian Minority with Service Commitment
Category’:
SUCH APPLICANTS ARE ADVISED TO READ THIS INFORMATION BULLETIN IN ITS
ENTIRETY, AND UNDERSTAND ALL THE REQUIREMENTS WHILE FILLING THE ONLINE
APPLICATION FORM. ANY DEFICIENCY IN FILLING THE ONLINE APPLICATION FORM AND
INCOMPLETE SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS WILL RESULT IN CANCELLATION OF
CANDIDATURE.
Applications are to be accessed from the website www.cmcludhiana.in.The Application
form for the Bible Test can be filled online using link available on the website. Every
candidate will be required to log on to ‘College Admissions 2024’ on the institutional
website. The application form must be filled online and also submitted form has to be
downloaded, printed, signed by the candidate on each page and sent to ‘The Registrar’,
Christian Medical College Ludhiana, latest by 18th May 2024*.

Instructions for Applicants:
1. Log on to www.cmcludhiana.in and navigate to College Admissions 2024 and
click on the link “UG 2024 - MBBS/BDS” and follow the instructions given.
2. Fill the online application form using the link provided. After filling the form and
uploading the documents stated in the form a payment of Rs 2500 is to be done in
the stated account. Last date for filling the form and making payment is 11th May
2024.This can be done using any online mode. Payment is to be done ONLINE only
in the account number given below. The details of the payment (transaction ID/
sender’s account no and name, etc) are to be filled in the online form. After
submission download the Application Form, Print, Sign and Send to The Registrar,
Christian Medical College Ludhiana, to reach latest by 18th May 2024*). Also send
two copies of your recent passport photographs along with the print of the form.
Candidates are advised to take the photograph with a white background and these
should not be altered by photoshop or any other software. Applications not
complying with these instructions or with unclear photographs are liable to be
rejected.

candidate will be refused entry into the Test Centre.
Candidates applying in the ‘Christian Minority with Service Commitment Category’
are advised to fill the ‘Proforma for Service Commitment’ available with the concerned
member of the CMC Ludhiana Society at the earliest.
Hall Tickets/Login IDs will be processed only after confirmation of submission of
Application form and receipt of payment before the last date for submission.
Receipt of application form alone does not indicate acceptance of application and
has no bearing on the admission; issuance of Hall Ticket/Log In I.D does not mean
that the applicant has met all the eligibility criteria for admission but indicates only
eligibility to appear in the Bible Test.

A completed application for the undergraduate program consists of the following:

6. Payment of Application fee of Rs. 2500- (Rupees Two Thousand Only). This fee is to
be paid ONLINE in the account no. given under point no. 2 on page 8-9
ONCE THE APPLICATION FORM ALONG WITH ENCLOSURES HAS BEEN SUBMITTED, THE APPLICANT WILL
NOT BE PERMITTED TO MAKE ANY ALTERATION IN THE APPLICATION FORM.

Original certificates and documents as mentioned above in list of documents needed for
scrutiny of certificates must be produced on the day of scrutiny and submission of
certificates. Failure to produce the original certificates / documents supporting the
application (category and course) would qualify for rejection of candidature at the time of
scrutiny.
Residence / Domicile Certificate
Applicants under ‘Christian Minority with Service Commitment Category’ - Category
2- (A, B, C, D, E, F, G): Applicants shall need to have domicile of 5 years in the state from
which domicile is being claimed and to this effect, should submit a recently issued
certificate of Residence/Domicile in India, duly certified by competent authority.
Applicants under Punjab Residence Category: Refer to the Government Notification in
the Prospectus, Baba Farid University of Health Sciences which is published on their
website www.bfuhs.ac.in
Provisional Results
Applicants must have qualified in UG NEET 2024. Christian applicants should have scored
40% marks in the Bible Test to be considered under the ‘Christian Minority with Service
Commitment Category ’. Bible Test marks are not considered for merit preparation. List of
candidates passing the Bible Test will be displayed at CMC Ludhiana website. This
information will not be communicated to any individual by any other means. Bible Test
marks are not considered for merit, but are necessary for consideration under ‘Christian

Minority with Service Commitment Category’. Failed candidates or those found ineligible
will not be informed separately.

Provisional Merit List:

Provisional merit list, based on merit in NEET UG 2024, and eligibility based on verification
of documents at CMC Ludhiana (for candidates applying in the ‘Christian Minority with
Service Commitment Category’ to ascertain minority status and eligibility for the respective
categories) will be displayed on the website www.bfuhs.ac.in.
For both courses, all qualified candidates will also be considered in the Open categories.
Applicants will be considered only for the courses they have applied for and are
eligible to be in.

COUNSELLING
Counselling will be as per information on the website of Baba Farid University of
Health Sciences. Schedule of Counselling, Admission and Start of classes shall be in
conformity with the schedule laid down by National Medical Commission of India/
Hon’ble Supreme Court of India/State Government and will be intimated on the
websites – www.bfuhs.ac.in and www.cmcludiana.in.
