PROFIBUS DP Specification
The PROFIBUS Communication is specified in IEC 61158 Type 3 and IEC 61784. IEC
61158 Type 3 includes the entire range of PROFIBUS, consisting of the versions DP-
V0, DP-V1 and DP-V2. IEC 61784 specifies the properties of the Communication
Profile Family CPF 3 which is PROFIBUS.
The currently available CDV version is available on the IEC Website www.iec.ch The
relevant documents are 65C/262/CDV ... 65C/268/CDV. The final documents are
expected to be publicly available by the end of 2002
