Procedure for creation of nested virtual machine

STEP 1: Run VMWARE workstation pro

STEP 2: Choose storage capacity

STEP 3: Browse and choose installation file

STEP 4: Provide product key and set up password

STEP 5: Choose installation location

STEP 6: Select BIOS

STEP 7: Allocate memory for the new OS

STEP 8: Choose NAT as preferred network type

STEP 9: Set I/O controller to LSI logic

STEP 10: Choose disk type as NVMe

STEP 11: Click on create new virtual disk

STEP 12: Specify disk capacity

STEP 13: Click on next

STEP 14: Choose finish option

STEP 15: Wait until VMWARE fininshes disk creation

STEP 16: Select Windows enterprise edition

STEP 17: Wait while installer completes installation

STEP 18: Now install VMWARE for 2nd time ( nested ) inside the just now installed windows

STEP 19: Follow the screen intructions

STEP 20: Select location for installation

STEP 21: Agree to customer experience program

STEP 22: Set your preference for shortcut creation

STEP 23: Click on install

STEP 24: Enter license key

STEP 25: Keep default values and click on next

STEP 26: Choose installation destination and proceed

STEP 27: Set number of cores as 3

STEP 28: Allocate memory to the to be created VM

STEP 29: Select “ NAT “

STEP 30: Select “ LSI Logic “

STEP 31: Following error popup will apear ( as expected )
