 Restatement:

Aluminium Cans are hard to dispose of,

because of this a lot of waste.
My group and I were asked to make a craft
using aluminium cans to help reduce the
amount of waste in our environment.

● What are aluminium cans made for?

An aluminium can is a single use container
for packaging, made primarily of aluminium.
It is commonly used for food and beverages
such as olives and soup but also for
products such as oil chemicals, and other
liquids.

● Why should we Up-cycle Aluminium Cans?

Up-cycling aluminium cans save energy and
natural resources, and also reduces the
pressure on landfill sites. If all aluminium
cans were up-cycled there would be around
Two Million less dustbins emptied into landfill
sites every year.

Materials Needed:
Aluminium Can
Paper
Super Glue
(optional) Paint, Gems to decorate

Steps To Make An Aluminium Can Ring:

● Cut Aluminium can into strips

● Measure strip around the your finger
● Shorten the strip to fit around your finger
● Cut paper to Same size a the strip
● Glue paper underneath the can strip
● Decorate as desired
