PRESS RELEASE A team of officers of the Special Team constituted to investigate not-worked out terrorist incidents led by ACP

Sanjeev Kumar Yadav and consisting of Inspectors Lalit Mohan Negi and Hridaya Bhushan, Sub-Inspector Chandrika Prashad and 35 police personnel of Special Cell under the supervision of DCP Crime Ashok Chand has busted an Indian Mujahiddin terrorist module suspected to be involved in the Pune German Bakery blast of 13th Februry 2010, Chinnaswami Stadium blasts of 17th April-2010 and the Jama Masjid shoot out and blast on 19th September 2010 with the help of Central Intelligence Agencies, West Bengal Police, Bihar Police and Tamilnadu Police. Six members including one Pakistani national of the Indian Mujahidin module have been apprehended. Two AK-47 rifles along with 50 cartridges, one 9mm pistol along with 14 live cartridges, 1.4 Kgs of black Explosive material, 3.2 Kgs of white explosive material, 350 gms granular off white explosive material, 5 detonators and Fake Indian Currency notes worth Rs.2 Lacs along with other incriminating materials have been recovered. Specific information was received by the special team regarding the activities of an Indian Mujahidin module. This input was further developed and on 22.11.2011 on specific information Mohd. Qateel Siddiqi @ Sajan @ Siraj @ Vivek Mishra (Aged-27 yrs) s/o Mohd. Zafeer r/o Darbhanga, Bihar and presently residing in Delhi, was apprehended near Anand Vihar, Bus Terminal. One 9mm loaded pistol along with 14 live cartridges was recovered. Fake Indian Currency notes worth Rs.2 Lacs were also recovered. Two fake passports, one forged Identity card of National Cadet Corps and one fake Driving Licence in the name of Vivek Mishra were recovered. A case under the appropriate sections of law was registered. On interrogation, it was revealed that he is a member of the Indian Mujahiddin terrorist module led by Ahmad Siddi Bappa @ Shahrukh @ Yashin Ahmad @ Imran @ Asif of Bhatkal, Karnataka. On 23.11.2011 another member of the Indian Mujahiddin module Gauhar Aziz Khumani (Aged-31yrs) s/o Mohd.Luqman r/o Darbhanga, Bihar and presently residing at Delhi, was apprehended from Delhi. On inputs provided by Mohd. Qateel Siddiqui, raids were conducted in Madhubani, Bihar and on 24.11.2011 a member of the Indian Mujahiddin module, Gayur Ahmad Jamali (Aged-21 yrs) s/o Nasrullah Jamal r/o Madhubani, Bihar, was apprehended from Madhubani and on 25.11.2011 another member of

Indian Mujahiddin module, Mohd. Adhil @ Ajamal @ Shoeb @ Guddu (Aged-40 yrs) s/o Late Mohd. Shafiq of Karachi, Pakistan, a Pakistani national and presently residing at- Mahubani, Bihar, was apprehended from Madhubani, Bihar. Further raids in Chennai on 27.11.2011 led to the apprehension of two members of the Indian Mujahiddin module, Mohd. Irshad Khan (Aged-52 yrs) s/o Abdul Zahid Khan r/o Samastipur, Bihar and presently residing at Delhi and Abdur Rahman (Aged-19 yrs) s/o Mahfuz-ur-Rahman r/o Darbhanga, Bihar and presently residing at Chennai, Tamilnadu. Two AK-47 rifles along with 50 cartridges, 1.2 Kg white explosive material, one Kg chemical in a container, 1.4 Kgs of black explosive material, 2 Kgs of white explosive material, 350 gms of granular off white explosive material, 5 detonators have been recovered from their hideouts in and around Delhi. All the members of the Indian Mujahiddin terrorist module were subjected to intensive interrogation. Their interrogation revealed that this module is involved in the, Pune German Bakery Blast of 13.02.2010, the Bangalore Chinaswami Stadium Blast of 17.04.2010 and Jama Masjid shoot-out and blast of 19.09.2010 Further investigation is in progress. Mohd.Qateel Siddiqi @ Sajjan @ Sajan@ Javed @ Shahjada Salim r/o Darbhanga, Bihar and presently residing at Delhi. He came in contact with Ahmad Siddi Bappa @ Imran in the last quarter of 2008 and became a member of the terrorist module Indian Mujahiddin. Mohd. Irshad Khan r/o Samastipur,Bihar and presently residing at Delhi. He met Ahmad Siddi Bappa @ Imran in the first quarter of 2009. They became close associates and he also joined the Indian Mujahiddin terrorist module. Gauhar Aziz Khomani r/o Darbhanga, Bihar and presently residing at Delhi. In 2003, while he was in his village, he came in contact with Ahmad Siddi Bappa @ Imran. In 2007 he came to Delhi and in November 2008 he renewed his contact

with Ahmad Siddi Bappa and joined Indian Mujahiddin. He provided them logistic and financial support. Gayur Ahmad Jamali r/o Madhubani, Bihar. In 2008 he came in contact with Ahmad Siddi Bappa @ Imran and joined Indian Mujahiddin. Abdur Rahman r/o Darbhanga and presently residing in Chennai. He met Ahmad Siddi Bappa @ Imran about four months back and become a member of Indian Mujahiddin. He provided hide out and logistic support.
