B.Ed full form is Bachelor of Elementary Education. BEd course is a 2-year professional degree program designed to equip the
necessary knowledge needed to become a teacher. B.Ed course is the mandatory requirement f or any individual to become a teacher
at middle-class (VI-VII), secondary (IX - X), and senior secondary (XI-XII) levels. BEd course is considered the f irst f ormal
education provided to educators, though the primary objective is preparing candidates f or senior secondary teaching roles. B.Ed

B.Ed course though contains a bachelor's in its name is not an undergraduate degree course and requires one to graduate with

Educational Qualification: Candidates need to have completed their graduation in any stream (that is, Arts, Science, or
Commerce) to f ulf ill B Ed eligibility criteria. However, most popular B Ed colleges allow candidates to take part in their admission
process f or B Ed courses if they have graduated with at least 50-55 percent aggregate marks at the UG level.

Age Limit: For B Ed admissions in a majority of colleges, there is no age bar. However, the admission process of some B Ed
