Cursed Techniques are abilities fueled by cursed energy.

Different types include

innate techniques, barrier techniques, shikigami, new shadow style, and more.

Technique Activation
A cursed technique is activated through the act of pouring cursed energy into it,
utilizing one of two processes; Lapse or Reversal. If cursed energy is comparable
to electricity, cursed techniques are the appliances that use that power to
function. Cursed energy is processed through a procedure akin to a mathematic
formula within the user to activate a cursed technique.
Lapse
Lapse refers to the basic, default, or neutral state of activation for a cursed
technique. To activate a cursed technique through lapse, the caster circulates
their cursed energy in a forward direction to channel it into their ability.
Note: The Cursed Technique Lapse of the Limitless is a reinforced version of its
Lapse that's activated when the technique is used to strengthen cursed energy.
Reversal
Reversal produces positive energy by multiplying negative energy with negative
energy. Negative energy isn't suitable for recovering but positive energy can heal
physical injuries. However, it requires highly sophisticated manipulation of cursed
energy to achieve, so the ability to do so is rare.
Subtraction
"To excel at jujutsu is to excel at subtraction."
Cursed techniques often require hand signs, empowered words, or other gestures to
activate. A sorcerer's skill is determined by the degree to which they can minimize
and omit these components to make their abilities more efficient. Conversely, the
purposeful inclusion of incantations or rituals can elevate a cursed technique's
effectiveness.

Innate Techniques are unique abilities congenitally engraved into the user’s body,
specifically in the right prefrontal cortex of the brain. Most jujutsu sorcerers
are born with an innate technique that manifests around the age of five or six,
which continually carves its formula into the user over time.
Innate techniques are proprietary and comprise eighty percent of a sorcerer’s
intrinsic skillset, making them nearly impossible to mimic, not unlike a
copyrighted computer program. When an individual refers to their own personal
cursed technique, they’re generally talking about their innate technique.
In almost all cases, an individual possesses only a single innate technique. In
especially rare cases, someone may possess more than one. Kenjaku, who can switch
bodies, has access to the technique carved into the body of his vessel. However,
even can only possibly possess a maximum of three to four innate techniques at one
time. Yuta Okkotsu can only utilize numerous techniques because Rika serves as his
external aid. Otherwise, too many innate techniques will overload the user’s brain.
Nobara Kugisaki's "Straw Doll Technique" grants her the ability to manipulate her
hammer, nails, and straw doll. By flowing her cursed energy through her equipment,
Nobara can launch nails from long range and detonate them, or use her straw doll as
an effigy to deal damage to her opponent's body.
Sukuna's "Shrine" technique is divided into two types of slashing attacks. The
default slash is Dismantle allowing Sukuna to instantly slash apart his target into
countless small cubes. The other, Cleave, can be adjusted with cursed energy to cut
down tougher opponents in one powerful slash.
Jogo's technique is based on the natural disaster of volcanoes, granting him the
ability to manipulate lava among other pyrokinetic abilities.
Hanami's technique allows him to freely conjure and manipulate various cursed
plants and wood-based attacks manifested from his cursed energy. Plants do not
embrace cursed energy, Hanami absorbs their life force and converts it.
Nanami's "Ratio Technique" divides his target with ten lines and forcibly create a
weak spot at the ratio point of seven to three. He can freely choose which part to
divide, including the subjects, head, torso, arms, and legs.
Mahito's "Idle Transfiguration" grants him the power to warp the shape of souls. By
manipulating souls, Mahito can change the shape of his own body or the shape of
anyone he touches.
Momo Nishimiya's "Tool Manipulation" allows her to freely manipulate of her broom
telepathically. This grants her the ability to fly, as well as swipe the broom
through the air swiftly to create strong gusts of cursed energy wind.
Mai Zenin and Yorozu's "Construction" uses an immense amount of cursed energy to
create objects from nothing. Mai uses it to create an extra bullet, with her limit
being once per day. Yorozu is able to re-create almost any substance she recognizes
except special grade cursed tools.
Aoi Todo's "Boogie Woogie" can interchange his position with someone else using
clapping as the trigger. He can change switch two targets outside of himself as
well. The targets Todo can switch within the effective range of his technique is
anything that possess cursed energy above a certain level.
Yoshinobu Gakuganji's technique uses his body as a sound amplification device
amplifying the melodies he plays on his electric guitar and launching it in waves
of cursed energy.
Eso and Kechizu's "Rot Technique" allows them to manipulate their own blood, which
has highly corrosive properties.
Kokichi Muta's "Puppet Manipulation" allows him to freely control numerous cursed
corpse puppets remotely. His Heavenly Restriction allows this technique to be
spread over a wide range, capable of controlling puppets all cross Japan.
Suguru Geto's "Cursed Spirit Manipulation" allows him to control conquered cursed
spirits. If the difference in grade is two or more, he can absorb a curse with no
conditions attached.
Master Tengen's "Immortality" grants them eternal life but it does not stop the
aging process.
A "Cloning Technique" that maxes out at five including the original caster. The
user can change their real body with any of the clones at any time to avoid danger.
Mei Mei's "Black Bird Manipulation" allows her to telepathically control crows and
see whatever they see.
Dagon's technique grants him the ability to summon and manipulate large volumes of
water at will. As a cursed womb, he could fill an entire room with water to trap
non-sorcerers, and then inhale all of the water to consume his targets. In his
fully realized form, Maki noted that Dagon is able to produce far more water than
Max Elephant.
Nanako's technique allows her to manipulate a photographed subject captured using
her cellphone camera. She once used it on herself to change location, but the
process quickly exhausted her.
Shigemo's "Miracles" stores little everyday miracles after erasing them from his
memory. Stored miracles are represented by the lines underneath Shigemo's eyes.
Miracles are released when his life is in danger, altering Shigemo's luck and
allowing him to survive would-be fatal blows.
By applying his technique to an injury, Arata can stop wounds from getting worse.
The technique cannot heal wounds like a reverse cursed technique, but it can stop
bleeding and dull pain. This only applies to injuries sustained before Arata's
technique is used.
Uraume's "Ice Formation" allows them to produce low temperatures from their body in
order to generate and manipulate large amounts of ice at will.
Yuki's "Star Rage" adds virtual mass to herself and Garuda, drastically increasing
their destructive power.
Kaori's "Antigravity System" counteracts gravitational forces to some degree.
Kenjaku is able to use Kaori's technique despite no longer possessing her body.
The Angel's "Technique Extinguishment" is the "extinguishment" — as in,
nullification — of any and all curses. It affects not only cursed techniques,
barriers, and cursed objects, but cursed spirits and incarnations as well.
Utahime's "Solo Forbidden Area" creates a zone around her that enhances her or one
willing sorcerer's cursed energy capacity and output. The technique's potency can
be increased to 120% if elevated into a ritual using incantations, hand signs,
dance, and music.
Hajime's "Mythical Beast Amber" transforms his body in order to manifest any
phenomena that can be created by electricity, which he converts from cursed energy.
Since the technique causes his body to surpass the limits of a human, it can only
be used once before his body collapses following the technique's conclusion.
Larue's "Heart Catch" creates a virtual, floating hand that can grab his target at
a distance. Upon grabbing the target, he can then throw them or crush them against
an obstacle.
Miguel's "Prayer Song" allows him to expel curses and augment his physical
abilities by dancing to a beat etched into his body.

Inherited Techniques are innate techniques passed down to sorcerers in the same
bloodline. While sorcerers who don't come from prominent clans can inherit innate
techniques, those obtained hereditarily from the ancestors of the Big Three
Families especially carry the title of inherited technique. The Big Three Families
have maintained their authority and prestige by passing down powerful techniques to
their descendants. Therefore, a sorcerer with an inherited technique is guaranteed
an important position in the family.
Inherited Technique users have the advantage of being equipped with a manual on how
to use them. However, passing down a technique through generations also presents
the issue of other groups learning how the ability works, along with its
shortcomings.
The "Ten Shadows Technique" of the Zenin Family can summon up to ten powerful
shikigami using shadows as an intermediary.
The "Limitless" technique of the Gojo Family uses jujutsu to bring the convergence
and divergence of an infinite series into reality, allowing the user to freely
manipulate and distort space.
"Blood Manipulation" is the prized technique of the Kamo Family. It allows the user
to control blood inside and outside their body down to a cellular level. This
technique is treasured for its overall balance and has few known weaknesses.
The "Cursed Speech" of the Inumaki Family infuses spoken words with cursed energy
to increase the spirit of the words, forcibly compelling anyone who hears to follow
his commands. The bigger the command, the larger the backlash on the user's vocal
chords. The target's cursed energy compared to the user can increase this drawback
as well.
"Projection Sorcery" divides one second into twenty-four frames and allows the user
to trace a predetermined course. Anything touched by the user's palm must also
abide by the 24 FPS rule or they will be frozen for one second inside an animation
frame, leaving them completely vulnerable to attack.
Non-Inherited Techniques: While the formula for hereditary innate techniques is
only accessible to members of their respective clan who inherited the engraving,
innate techniques often manifest naturally within sorcerers regardless of their
heritage. Suguru Geto, Kento Nanami, and Aoi Todo all possess innate techniques
despite being born to non-sorcerer families.

Extension Techniques are original abilities derived from innate techniques. Innate
techniques cannot be changed or altered, but they can be trained and expanded on
through creativity to maximize their applications into extension techniques. For
example, Collapse is a more powerful application of Kento Nanami's Ratio Technique.
In the case of inherited techniques, sorcerers pass down the original moves that
they create such as Blue and Red of the Limitless.
Nobara's "Resonance" applies her cursed energy to her desired target by using her
straw doll as an effigy. By placing a curse's severed appendage on the straw doll
and hammering in a cursed energy infused nail, Nobara can deal critical damage to
her target.
Jogo's "Ember Insects" are spawned from the volcanic hole in the top of his head.
They fly at his target with great speed and use sound to detonate themselves into a
giant fiery explosion.
The "Cursed Technique Reversal: Red" of the Gojo Clan is performed using positive
energy generated from reverse cursed technique to invert the effects of the
strengthened Limitless. This brings the conceptual divergence of infinity into
reality, generating the power to repel.
Megumi's "The Well's Unknown Abyss" creates multiple winged toad shikigami by
fusing the Toad and Nue shikigami. Unlike their parent shikigami, these toads are
relatively weaker yet can be destroyed without consequence, and can be summoned so
long as Nue and the Toad are alive.
Kento's "Collapse" expands the effective hit zone of his innate technique. This
allows him to deliver a critical hit over a wide area.
Kokichi's "Sword Option" transforms his Ultimate Mechamaru puppet cursed corpse's
arm into its offensive form, causing multiple curved blades to protrude from its
forearm, including long nail-like blades that extend from its fingers.
Kokichi's "Boost On" engages the elbow-mounted jet boosters of Ultimate Mechamaru,
allowing for a boost in speed and momentum. It can be used to activate the boosters
in either of Mechamaru's arms or both at the same time.
Kokichi's "Ultra Spin" spins Ultimate Mechamaru's bladed hand after it utilizes
Sword Option. In conjunction with Boost On to propel it, the drill-like attack is
powerful enough to blast a hole in a fully grown tree.
Kokichi's "Ultra Cannon" releases a blast of destructive cursed energy from an
opening in Ultimate Mechamaru's palm.
Kokichi's "Mode: Albatross" protrudes a cannon from Ultimate Mechamaru's mouth.
This facilitates the discharge of cursed energy in preparation for Ultimate Cannon.
Kokichi's "Ultimate Cannon" releases a massive blast of cursed energy fired from
Ultimate Mechamaru's mouth cannon.
Kokichi's "Ultra Shield" causes several small spikes to protrude from Ultimate
Mechamaru's arm, granting it defensive capabilities. The spikes will stick into
anyone who strikes the arm with a physical attack.
Nobara's "Hairpin" causes the cursed energy stored within her nails to explode
outwards, highly magnifying their destructive capabilities.
The "Flowing Red Scale" of the Kamo Clan increases the user's body temperature,
pulse rate, and the number of red blood cells to greatly increase their energy and
physical abilities.
The "Crimson Binding" of the Kamo Clan shapes the user's blood into a large net in
order to bind and immobilize their target.
The "Slicing Exorcism" of the Kamo Clan manipulates the user's blood into either
the shape of a spinning chakram-like projectile or the form of a stream in order to
slice their opponents.
The "Convergence" of the Kamo Clan compresses and condenses the user's blood to its
limit. This blood orb can then be used to perform other extension techniques.
The "Piercing Blood" of the Kamo Clan allows the user to fire a beam of blood from
their hands after clapping their hands around a blood orb formed from Convergence.
The blood is capable of reaching the speed of sound.
"Hollow Technique: Purple" is a secret technique only known to a few in the Gojo
Clan. By merging the convergence and divergence of infinities, the user produces a
blast of imaginary mass that can destroy anything it collides with.
Eso and Kechizu's "Decay" creates a floral pattern on anyone exposed to their blood
that rapidly decomposes their body.
The "Cursed Technique Lapse: Blue" of the Gojo Clan is performed by amplifying the
amount of cursed energy used in the Limitless technique, thus strengthening its
effects. This brings impossible concepts such as "natural negative numbers" into
reality, generating the power to attract.
Kokichi's "Miracle Cannon" causes Ultimate Mechamaru Mode: Absolute to fire
powerful beams of cursed energy from both of its palms.
Kokichi's "Pigeon Viola" causes Ultimate Mechamaru Mode: Absolute to fire five
massive cursed energy bullets that chase his target until they hit and detonate.
Choso's "Supernova" detonates the blood orbs formed from Convergence, shooting the
compressed blood out in every direction like a buckshot. This is a unique technique
he developed after honing his cursed technique for 150 years as a cursed object.
Mahito's "Soul Multiplicity" merges two or more souls together, creating a reaction
due to the souls rejecting the fusion. This reaction can then be used to perform
other techniques.
Mahito's "Body Repel" takes advantage of the reaction caused by Soul Multiplicity.
Mahito increases the energy within the souls used for the fusion, thus increasing
its output of transfigured humans into one attack that he directs towards his
opponent.
Mei Mei's "Bird Strike" commands a crow to commit suicide, exceeding the limits of
its cursed energy in return. The crow then hurls itself towards her opponent,
dealing a devastating hit.
Choso's "Blood Edge" shapes his blood into a dagger and rotates the blood within it
at high speeds to prevent it from hardening as well as increasing its lethality.
Choso's "Blood Meteorite" creates a piece of hardened blood and shoots it at his
opponent, piercing through them. Its speed and power is inferior to Piercing
Blood's.
Dagon's "Death Swarm" summons an endless stream of marine-life shikigami that
attack and devour his targets. It is integrated into Dagon's domain expansion:
Horizon of the Captivating Skandha, making their attacks guaranteed to hit.
Mahito's "Polymorphic Soul Isomer" uses Soul Multiplicity to merge the souls with
weak rejection together to form a transfigured human with explosive strength but
low durability.
Mahito's "Instant Spirit Body of Distorted Killing" transforms him after he
understood the true essence of his soul. In this evolved form, Mahito has twice his
original toughness, and his strength and speed are vastly increased as well.
Uraume's "Frost Calm" creates a frosted mist in their hand that they then blow
towards their targets, freezing them in thick sheets of ice that immobilize them.
Momo's "Wind Scythe" creates a flying blade of cursed energy wind that is fired at
an opponent after dragging her broom's bristled end along the ground.
Kurourushi's "Earthen Insect Trance" summons two flying insect shikigami that carry
large sacs filled with a liquid substance that are released when they are
destroyed. The substance gets into the target's eyes to impair their vision.
Takako's "Thin Ice Breaker" hits the surface of the sky instead of her opponent
directly, shattering it like ice and heavily striking them.
Ryu's "Granite Blast" releases a concentrated blast of cursed energy with
incredible destructive power from his hair.
Hana's "Jacob's Ladder" conjures a four-winged trumpet made of light accompanied by
a large multi-layered magic array in the sky. Upon sounding the trumpet, a pillar
of light descends from the circle and engulfs her target in its radiance. Any curse
bathed in the light will be extinguished, including special grade cursed objects
such as Sukuna and the Prison Realm.

Maximum Output are Extension techniques with the highest possible cursed energy
output channeled into them. Not to be confused with Maximum Techniques, these moves
are also titled Stack.
"Cursed Technique Lapse - Maximum Output: Blue": Drastically amplifies the magnetic
effect of the technique, forcibly attracting everything in the area on a grand
scale.
"Flowing Red Scale: Stack": Further increases the degree to which the user
manipulates their blood internally, pushing their physical capabilities to the
limit.
"Maximum Output: Jacob's Ladder": Intensifies the array of light generated by the
technique to its fullest.
"Maximum Output: Frost Calm" greatly expands the technique's effective range,
resulting in it freezing a much larger than normal area.

Maximum Techniques are Extension techniques that realize the greatest potential of
their derived innate technique. They are the most supreme art of any sorcerer
outside of domain expansion, e.g. Suguru's Maximum: Uzumaki is the maximum
technique of his Cursed Spirit Manipulation.
Suguru Geto's "Maximum: Uzumaki" combines cursed spirits in the user's possession
into one and hits their target with a blast of super-condensed cursed energy. When
cursed spirits of semi-grade 1 or higher are used, their cursed techniques are
extracted. This allows the curse manipulator to utilize the extracted technique
even after the original cursed spirit was used for Uzumaki.
Eso's "Maximum: Wing King" creates wasp-like wings of blood that extend from the
user's back. The wings can change shape and extend for offensive purposes or to
increase the user's mobility. Maximum: Wing King and Decay cannot be utilized at
the same time.
Jogo's "Maximum: Meteor manifests a gigantic flaming meteor for him to throw at his
opponent. It has enough destructive power to level a city.
