Layher promotes safe and efficient scaffold erection and dismantling techniques to ensure
unsafe working at height practices are reduced to a minimum. Layher have three product
options suitable for attaching to the Layher Allround Scaffolding System to facilitate location
points for craning scaffold structures, where scaffolding can be erected safely and efficiently
at ground level and lifted into the position where they are required.

1.3 Product Installation:
The Crane Eyelet with spigot 0726.699 is fixed to the top of an open-ended standard using
two M12 x 60 Special Bolts with nuts. The crane hook or shackle is located in the 55 mm
diameter eyelet hole.
The lifting force can be applied at any angle but preferably in the vertical plane in line with
the product’s most favourable installation. A range of lifting force limitations are shown on
the product’s lifting label.
The Crane Eyelet with three half couplers is attached to a 48.3 mm diameter scaffolding tube
in any orientation typically in either horizontal or vertical locations. The crane hook or shackle
is located in the 55 mm diameter eyelet hole.
The lifting force can be applied at any angle in the plane of the product’s installation but
preferably in the plane of the scaffolds’ lifting connections.
The AR Lifting Device for crane is designed for the new Layher Lightweight LW product range.
The AR Lifting Device for crane is attached by fitting the Wedge Head to a conveniently
located and oriented Rosette hole and securing the bolted fitting of the Half Coupler to the
Standard directly below the Wedge Head. The crane hook or shackle is located through the
round bar loop at the top of the product.
