Progress Report: Improvements Made Over the Last 70 Days

Following improvement are made with the consultation of my supervisor

Chapter 1:

Improve the structure of the thesis and reduce the no. of headings in table of contents in each section

Improve the introduction parts focus on the main theoretical contribution of the study. Moreover, in
problem statement clarify the research questions of the dissertation and aims of the study

Improve the linkage and cohesion of studies in dissertation

Chapter 2:

Improve the literature review chapter by focusing on the research gap on organizational and individual
level outcomes of green HRM system (Main topic)

Align the structure of literature review chapter with the title of the dissertation.

Improve the innovation points of the dissertation

Chapter 3

Improve the chapter structure by focusing on research framework, design, and research methodology

Design a comprehensive and combine conceptual model of the dissertation revolved around Green HRM
system at organizational and individual levels

The chapter emphasize why we design three studies to explore the green HRM system at organizational
and individual (i.ie. employee) levels outcomes and how these three studies design were necessary to
answering the main research question of dissertation

Chapter 4, 5, 6

Improve the study 1 conceptual model and incorporate and updated results in tables

Add more tables such as descriptive statistics, model robustness in three studies

Reduce the no. of headings in chapters and clarify the sequences of the chapters

Chapter 7

Improve overall theoretical and practical implications of the dissertation


Progress Report: Improvements Made Over the Last 70 Days

With the consultation of my supervisor, the following improvements have been made:

Chapter 1:

Structure Enhancement: Refined the overall structure of the thesis and reduced the number of headings
in the table of contents for each section.

Introduction Focus: Enhanced the introduction to emphasize the main theoretical contributions of the
study. Clarified the research questions and aims of the study in the problem statement.

Linkage and Cohesion: Improved the coherence and connectivity between studies within the
dissertation.

Chapter 2:

Literature Review: Enhanced the literature review by emphasizing the research gap regarding
organizational and individual level outcomes of the Green HRM system.

Alignment: Aligned the structure of the literature review with the dissertation title.

Innovation: Strengthened the innovative aspects of the dissertation.

Chapter 3:

Structure and Methodology: Enhanced the structure by focusing on the research framework, design, and
methodology.

Conceptual Model: Developed a comprehensive and integrated conceptual model centered around the
Green HRM system at both organizational and individual levels.

Study Design Justification: Clarified the rationale for designing three studies to explore the Green HRM
system’s outcomes at organizational and individual (employee) levels, and how these designs address
the main research questions.

Chapters 4, 5, 6:

Study Models and Results: Improved the conceptual model of Study 1 and updated the results in tables.

Additional Tables: Included additional tables such as descriptive statistics and model robustness for all
three studies.
Chapter Sequence and Headings: Reduced the number of headings and clarified the sequence of
chapters.

Chapter 7:

Implications: Enhanced the discussion of the overall theoretical and practical implications of the
dissertation.
