These are the supporting details with regards to the Proposed Budget of University Voice.

 For the Webinar / Workshop:

The University Voice is planning to join virtual webinars and workshops to enhance
skills and develop talents. The budget allotted to the said event is intended for all the
editors and writers who are current members of the organization.
The purpose of these events is to train the current and future staff and writers for a quality
and timely article.

 Other / Emergencies:

This is intended for the unexpected events or occurrence. For example, we are short in
budget for this type of activity or unexpected events that we can participate in.

 Number of issues intended per semester:

You may see the specifics below regarding the one-year proposed plan of the University
Voice. This will include the number of issues, the output that will be used as a basis for
the release of the honorarium/stipend.

NEWS Plans:
1. Online Newsletter:
A. Newsletters are vital publications that keep the student body up-to-date, trendy, and
informed about the activities, events, and news of the University. The online
newsletters will be published bi-monthly (2 newsletters in one semester) highlighting
newsworthy events, people, and ideas. This will be posted every last week of the
month/first week of the following month. The newsletter can incorporate at least 5
news articles and additional skits from the other sections such as the Feature and
Literary will also be presented.
B. Time frame:
a. New information or news from the university from the CSC and different colleges
and will be relayed by the writers to the news editor. (Any day of the month)
b. Delegation/Assignment of write-ups to news writers by the news editor and
submitted before or on the deadline. (2 days after assignment).
c. Editing of submitted news articles (1 week)
d. Proofreading (3 days before publication)
e. Publication (last week of the month/first week of the following month)

2. Weekly Updates/News
A. The News Department will publish 1 news article about a relevant event that took
place every 2 weeks. This will cover breaking news in the campus or national news in
the Philippines, limited only to the field of sports, science, education, and the arts.
The news writers together with the News Editor will take turns in writing the said
articles. There would be a total of 2 short news articles that would be posted every
month.

B. Time frame:
a. News from the CSC or different colleges that are significant and highly
commemorative are gathered by the news writers and relayed to the news editor.
Relevant national news can also be considered (Any day within 2 weeks before
publishing).
b. Delegation/Assignment of write-ups to news writers by the news editor and
submitted before or on the deadline. (2 days after assignment).
c. Editing of submitted news articles (1 day)
d. Proofreading (1 day before publication)
e. Publication (Every 2nd and 4th week of the month)

Listed below are the plans that I and the members of the Feature Section would like to
seek approval of for this semester along with their corresponding dates of action:
 February 10 – Start looking for new writers
 February 25 – Publication of the Volume 2 of Seasons
 March 4 – Meeting with the New Writers regarding our new project

FEATURE Plans:
1. Week of Prayer Special Magazine Publication (Online)
A. The theme of the publication will be similar to that of the Week of Prayer. Identical
to the content of the magazine publication, it will feature the week of prayer
experiences of the speaker, participants, students, faculty, and staff along with the
stories of the team behind the camera.
B. Time Frame:
i. March 15-24 – Start of writing and gathering of write-ups
ii. March 25-31 – Editing and finalization of the write-ups
Approval of the University Board and Advisers
iii. April – Publication
2. Produce two features in the News Publication (Online and Audiobook - Spotify).
A. Time Frame:
i. Four weeks before the publication - Start of writing and gathering of write-
ups
ii. One week before publication - Editing and finalization of the write-ups
Approval of the University Board and Advisers
