MACBETH : ( chugs the potion without stopping to breathe and teeters a bit)

Horrible sight! Now I see ’tis true, ( Macbeth gets blinded by the specular reflection from the glass
which may hint at his subsequent shrouded vision leading him to the path of his undoing)
What, is this so? O foul deed! What horror stains my hand? Cease, thou crimson stream, taint not
my mind with venomous whispers. Enticements, begone! Begone you vile temptations!
(Macbeth here reaches the brunt of the potion- induced hallucinations with a premonition of the
destruction that awaits)
FIRST WITCH :
Music. The Witches dance, smears their face with ash and dirt and vanish.
Macbeth lies forlorn, the dark, the frightening night yawns to engulf his soul….
