2. Nano Fertilizers:
The government has approved the launch of nano liquid DAP fertilizers, developed by IFFCO.
These fertilizers are expected to benefit farmers by improving efficiency and reducing dependency
on imports. Nano DAP is projected to be a game-changer, similar to the previously launched nano
urea.

India achieved record production, imports, and sales of fertilizers like Urea, DAP, and NPKs in the
first quarter of FY 2023-24. Urea production saw an 11% increase, while DAP and NPKs saw 8%
