RESOLUTION CONDEMING CPP-NPA -NDF AND DECLARING THEM AS PERSONA
NON GRATA
______________________________________________________________________________

WHEREAS, the Communist Party of the Philippines (CPP), New People’s Army (NPA), and
National Democratic Front (NDF) have been engaged in a long-standing armed insurgency
aimed at overthrowing the democratic government of our country.

WHEREAS, the CPP-NPA—NDF has caused immense suffering, loss of lives, destruction of
property , and economic distruption across various regions of our nation;

WHEREAS, their acts of violence, terrorism, extortion, recruitment of minors, and human rights
violations have have undermined peace, security, and and socials progress;

WHEREAS, the government has initiated numerous efforts, including peace talks and
reconciliation programs, to resolve the armed conflict and bring lasting peace to affected
communities;

WHEREAS, despite these efforts, the CPP-NPA-NDF has continued to persist in their unlawful
activities, disregarding the well-being and rights of the Filipino people;

WHEREAS, it is crucial for our local government unit to take a firm stand against the CPP-
NPA-NDF and express solidarity with the national government’s effort to promote peace,
stability, and development;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Barangay______________ , Tarangnan,

Samar in unity with the Filipino people, hereby condems the Communist Party of the
Philippines (CPP), New People’s Army (NPA), and National Democratic Front (NDF) for their
violent and unlawful actions against the government and its people;

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Barangay_________________ Tarangnan Samar

declares the CPP-NPA-NDF as PERSONA NON GRATA within the territorial jurisdiction of
our Barangay, thereby expressing our strong opposition to their presence, activities, and
ideology;

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Barangay________________, Tarangnan, Samar

calls upon all government agencies, civil society organizations, and the general public t support
the government’s effort in combating insurgency and promoting lasting peace through legal

National Police (PNP), Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) , and other relevant government
agencies for their information and appropriate action.
