For century's creativity, art, and cultural, has been an important part of life.
Why is it not being considered for inclusion in the designs for new self-built community
housing?

Soil Stabilization for Community Development

Finally there is a solution for providing modern, individually designed, economically

viable, environmentally friendly homes, produced by local communities, from on-site soils
and waste materials.

Welcome to stabilizing soil with AggreBind, a water based, environmentally friendly

product, that turns soil into a construction material for the manufacture of soil stabilized
hand pressed bricks, and soil stabilized compacted roads.

AggreBind is available in a wide range of colours, providing the home builder or brick
manufacturer with unlimited design options.

Communities can finally participate together to provide, homes, clinics, schools, shops,
factories, roads and recreational areas for sport etc.

Training, basic business plans, finance and technical support, would be required to
ensure that the projects complied with local regulations.

Organizations like the ASISA (Association for Savings and Investments) could offer
assistance with establishing credible financial structures.

Self income generating co-operatives could be established from within the community to
handle the purchase of product and the leasing of equipment.

This would help bind the communities to work together to create a better future for them,
and their children.

Pathways, Walkways and Sidewalks

Bonds a wide variety of materials to virtually any surface.

Available in clear and a wide range of other colours to provide additional design options.
Improves the load bearing capabilities of virtually all soils, sands and small aggregates.

Applications include:
Re-surfacing of existing driveways and pathways.
Decorative and architectural features.
Exterior and interior wall treatments.
Surface sealing.
Manufacture of load bearing bricks and pavers.
Stabilizing and installation of pathways and roads.
Applications as creative as your imagination
Decorative solutions for sealing and re-surfacing of existing Driveways and Pathways

Give your old tired driveway a new lease of life,

with bonded decorative aggregates, or simply a new textured surface colour.

AggreBind forms a chemical bond and a penetrating seal for the resurfacing of existing asphalt, concrete, blocks
etc providing the following benefits:
· A non-slip decorative durable surface
· Highly resistant to most liquids including petroleum based products
· Environmentally safe
· Non-flammable
· Will withstand heavy rain after only 1 hour (asphalt emulsion sealers take 6 to 10 hours)
· Cost effective
· Approved and manufactured in strict compliance with ISO 9001 and ASTM standards
· Non-toxic
· Resists damage caused by UV rays
· VOC free
AggreBind is effective for the renovation and re-surfacing of ageing asphalt/concrete parking areas, driveways
and pathways.
The surface to be treated must be structurally sound and damaged areas must be repaired prior to using
AggreBind.
Curing time: The time to dry will vary, depending on weather conditions. Normally in ambient temperatures it
can be walked on in 60 minutes. A full 24-hour cure is recommended before traffic is driven on the new
surface, although it is not uncommon to have light traffic in only 4 hours (where wheel turning should be
avoided).

OUTLINE PROPOSAL FOR DECORATIVE CONCRETE/AGGREBIND WALKWAY AREAS

Procedures:
Clean the surface of the concrete to remove any oil/grease
etc.
Seal the surface with a mixture of 1 part AGB-WT (clear)
mixed with 3 parts water.
Mark out the design shapes required on the floor with chalk.
Mix 3 parts of 1mm sand with 1 part 0.063 fine sand.
Mix 1 part AGB with 3 parts water and add the fine sand/clay
until it is a loose mixture that can be applied with a large
brush to a depth of +-3 to 5mm.
Smooth the surface with a plastering trowel/float.
Protect the surface from rain for 4 hours.
Do not use the area until the surface is dry.

Provide local communities and children the opportunity of

participating in the design process.

Soil Stabilizing and sealing the sub-soil beneath the sand layer,
and designing adequate drainage, provides solutions for virtually
all Bunker problems.
Problem Areas:
Water Erosion of base and damage of bunker face resulting in a loss of sand and the releasing of stones into
the bunker.
Ball embedded in face of bunker virtually unplayable.

Solution:
Stabilizing and sealing the sub-soil beneath the sand layer, and designing adequate drainage, provides
solutions for virtually all Bunker problems.

INSTALLATION GUIDELINES:
The objective is to provide a spray on, colourless, water
resistant lining for bunkers that will assist drainage and prevent
the ingress of stone into the bunker from sub-soils.

Application:
Remove all the bunker sand.
Contour and compact the base for drainage and check the
drainage system.
Spray the surface with a mixture of 1 part AggreBind
concentrate to 5 parts water at a rate of 2 ltrs per sq mtr.
To provide additional protection to the face of the bunker, if this
is required, drill downward angled holes into the face at a
spacing of +-15cm and fill them with the polymer mixture.
Repeat the spraying process after 1 hour at a rate of 1 ltr per sq
mtr.
Do not install if heavy rain is forecast or if frost is imminent.
This is a water-based product that requires the water to be
released before curing.
Compact the treated area with a roller or hand Tamper when
the surface is no longer adhering to the compaction equipment.
After 24 hours spray the surface of the treated area with the
remaining AggreBind water mix if additional firmness is
required.
When the surface is dry replace the bunker sand.
Clean all equipment with water immediately after use.

Install & repair fence posts using on-site soils

Application:
1. Dig a square hole 3 times larger than the width and
thickness of the fence post.
Remove any grass, weeds & roots; save the soil for later use.
2. Put a 20mm layer of gravel in the base of the hole.
3. Place the post in the hole and secure it in a vertical position.
4. Mix 1 part AggreBind with 3 parts water and add this mixture
to the saved soil.
Mix together until the mixture binds together when hand squeezed.
5. Place the treated soil into the hole and compact until the
post is securely held.
6. Spray the surface of the compacted soil with a mixture of
1 part AggreBind mixed with 3 parts water.

AggreBind can also be used to secure fence posts and for the manufacture of bricks,
blocks, pavers , road edging stones, and road marking.

Embankment sealing

Problem

New porous Asphalt surface layer

Embankment sealing to reduce the growth of grass and other plants.

Problem:
Asphalt is porous and this allows water to penetrate, providing water and nutrients for a wide range
of grasses and other plants.

Recommended procedures: 1.0 New Asphalt Surfaces:

Check the porosity of the surface layer.
Prepare a slurry with fine sand/soil mixed with 1 part AggreBind mixed with 3 parts water.
Test that the slurry penetrates the layer to a minimum depth of 25mm. After 4 hours surface seal
with a mixture of 1 part AggreBind mixed with 3 parts water.
Do not install if rain is imminent.

Existing soil embankments:

Remove all grass and roots from the layer to be treated.
If possible lightly compact the area with a vibration plate compactor.
Prepare a mixture of 1 part AggreBind mixed with 3 parts water.
Spray this at a rate of 1 ltr per sq mtr over the area and repeat this process again after 4 hours.
