Scope
At this laboratory we want to find out the direction of line, height and even the
angle that it takes on site.

Apparatus
• Tripod
• Total station
• Prism
• Notebook
• Pen

Procedure

1. First of all set up the Total station by eye and the automatically on screen
2. Go to manage and set a job.
3. Find the program and click on set total station.
4. Mention the height of instrument or prism in total station.
5. Read the point on prism.
6. Read another point then we connect two points which provide north line or
northing.
7. The right side of northing is easting.
8. Finally, we change the location of prism and read the points.
9. It changes according to origin or base line.

Conclusion

This method helps us to know the direction of line, angle and read the
points give the line of northing and easting, which is used as start point,
until we can accumulate the height and point over 3km.
