Graphic Era Hill University, Dehradun is
situated in the cantonment region next to
Rajaji National Park and offers a panoramic

National and International gatherings.
School Of LAW

The School of Law at Graphic Era Hill University is one of

the most prestigious departments of the University, running
two full-time five years integrated programs like B.A. LL.B
and B.B.A. LL.B, duly approved by the Bar Council of India
along with LL.M and Ph.D. in Law. The Department aims to
provide quality legal education and prepare students for the
challenges of the legal profession. Moreover, it actively
welcomes students from all around the world.

The Graphic Era Hill University, Dehradun, School of Law,

actively encourages participation in IMUNS, Youth
Parliaments, Debate competitions, Industrial Visits, Expert
Talks, Jail Visits, Workshops, FDPs and sporting events. SOL
forte lies in fostering remarkable personality development,
collaborative programs hosting guest lecture, providing
career coaching and organising diverse workshops and
seminars. Additionally, it engages in initiatives such as
offering legal aid and adopting Uttarakhand villages,
contributing significantly to the community. Through radio
sessions and outreach drives, the institution also offers legal
counselling and enhances public awareness. At the core of
these initiatives is a dedicated team of faculty members, each
driven by diverse backgrounds but sharing the unified
ambition of making law school the pinnacle of excellence.
The Legal Aid Committee is a student body in
the University that imparts legal aid and
undertakes social awareness program under
its aegis. The Committee inducts students to
use their knowledge of law to provide free
legal aid to those who are most in need of it
through various medium. The Legal Aid
functions that the Committee performs are
preventive, remedial, activist and reformative.
The committee has adopted two villages, and
it has always placed a priority on raising legal
knowledge. So far the committee has held
more than twenty-five events over the past
two years.

STEPS FOR REGISTRATION

Participants need to duly fill the Google form for registration.

The last date of submission of the registration form is 1st May,
2024 ( 11:59 P.M IST ).
No application shall be entertained post this deadline.
After the successful registration and payment, the participants
will receive a confirmation mail.
Additionally, the registered participants will be invited to join
the WhatsApp group for information dissemination.
The link to join the group will be provided to the duly
registered participants after the confirmation mail is sent.

There will be only individual participation.

Participants shall report to the venue (GEHU, Dehradun
Campus) at the allotted time.
Participants are advised to be in traditional or Indian/
Western formal attire. However, wearing attire reserved for
their constituency would be appreciated to give a better
and more effective platform.
Participants may use bilingual mode (Hindi or English)
during their speech.
There is no limitation on the number of participants from
one institution (i.e., any number of students can participate
from one institution).
Fee once paid is non-refundable.
The organizing committee reserves the right to adopt
suitable procedures and changes including time and dates.
No grievances concerning the final decision of the
organising committee will be entertained.
Participants creating any kind of indiscipline shall be
disqualified at the discretion of organizing committee.
The total number of committees may exceed, as per the
discretion of the organizing committee.
Participants thereby should adhere by the rules and
regulations of the event.
