Cancer, ADVANCES AND TREATMENTS

In many cancer research centers, the causes, diagnosis, and treatment of the disease are
investigated. Scientists are getting a better idea of how changes in a person's DNA can cause
normal cells to become cancerous. Cancer offers some clues as to why these cells become
abnormal. Some of these advances may lead to improved diagnosis and treatment of cancer of
unknown primary origin.

TREATMENTS
cancer of unknown primary origin represents a number of different types of cancer, it is unlikely
that a single treatment will benefit all people with cancer of unknown primary origin. Even so,
treatments for some of the most common cancers are likely to also benefit people with cancers of
unknown primary origin, especially if the cancers can be classified more accurately.

The most common treatments are surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation therapy. The latest
options include targeted therapy, immunotherapy and laser hormone therapy among others. If I
think that as long as there's an opportunity to help people with diseases like these it wouldn't be too much
to try to do something for them because cancer can become a very risky disease.
