stated below. This will not be gone through during the test,
you will have to read up on this prior to the training session

What to do when
approaching a Bus Stop

1. When approaching a Bus Stop, slow down and signal in

when turning into the Bus Stop.
2. As you stop, turn on your Hazard Lights, enage the
parking brake & open both doors.
3. Before you depart, close both doors and disengage your
parking brake.
4. Signal right as you leave the bus stop, giving way to any
incoming traffic before departing.
 Driving Etiquttes
• Interior lights & Headlights must be turned on at all times when
operating at night.
• Slow down when approaching traffic lights, do not speed past them.
• Signal before changing lanes, ensuring that you give way to all
incoming traffic.
• Drive at a safe & reasonable speed and adhere to all traffic rules.
• Parking brake should be engaged at all times when the bus is not in
motion.
• Maintain a safe distance between any bus near you & not tailgate
them.
• Your Electronic Display System & Card Reader must be turned on at
all times when in service.
• Before reversing, please check that there is no vehicles coming, and
ensure that hazard lights are on and you horn when reversing
 How to guide
Turning on Engine
To turn on your engine, make sure your bus parking brake is
disengaged.
Once your bus parking brake is disengaged, enter the driver seat
and look at the driving metre, you should see the text "Engine: Off",
click it and the engine will turn on. If you can't see the driving GUI,
disengage the brake and re-enter the seat

Disengaging Parking Brake

The stick on the right side of the driver cabin controls the
parking brake. Click on it to either engage or disengage
your parking brake.

Opening of doors
You can either use the keybinds or the physical button to
open your doors. Keybinds can be found in the following
slides. The two circular buttons with the door image on it
controls your front & rear door respectively.

F - Head Lights (Click again for high beams)
G - EDS GUI
H - Horn
Z - Left Signal The image above shows the EDS GUI upon pressing G. To
X - Hazard Lights input your EDS code, click on the top left box to input
C - Right Signal your 4 digit code. All the EDS codes can be found in our
Discord #enquiry channel pinned messages.
M - Auto/Manual/Semi transmission
E- Gear up
Q - Gear down Interior Lights
W - Accelerate
A - Left
S - Brake
D - Right

To turn on your Interior Lights, click on the rectangle

buttons with the light icons, the placement of the
buttons may be different depending on the bus model.
 Training Outline
Joining a training
Training are announced in the Discord server. When a training is announced, please take note of the training date & time. You may
also react for the Training Announcement role to be pinged when training are announced.

On the day itself, you will be able to join 5 minutes before the scheduled training time, or when the host announces in the Discord
that you can start joining.

Route Familiarisation
Trainees will all partake in a route familiarisation, where they will board a bus of the host choice. The host will then drive the route as
shown for the training, you are required to memorise the route.

No time will be given for practice, you can practice beforehand in Star South. If you have any questions, please ask immediately after
the familiarsation, no questions will be entertained when the test starts.

Testing Phase
When the test begins, you will all wait in the learning room while the assessors will teleport you down one by one to test. Please be
patient & wait if you aren't teleported.

When teleported, you will be given instructions to board the bus and begin your test. Please drive the route that was shown during
the familiarisation with the TRAINING BUS EDS (3333)

Once the training ends, you are dismissed and you will be ranked if you passed.
Training Rules
Quick overview of all the rules that
should be adhered to
Ensure that all the rules stated here are adhered and
followed to. Failure to do so will result in disciplinary
punishments
• There should be no Phototaking, livestreaming or recording
or anything similar of the sort of the entire training session.
• Please ensure that you listen to all the host instructions,
they have the discretion to kick you should you fail to comply.
• Please stay in the briefing room until you are teleported to
the assessor.
• Do note that even after the training, if you are caught
recklessly driving, you will be faced with disciplinary actions
such as demotions.
• Remain in the Training Classroom until you are teleported
by your assessor.
