Spiritual Warfare vs Bondage
Spiritual Warfare Confused with Demonic Bondages
“So will they fear the name of the Lord from the west and east. His glory
from the rising of the sun; when the enemy comes in like a flood, the Spirit
of the Lord will lift a standard against Him.” (Isa. 59:1).
Far too many people get spiritual warfare confused with demonic bondage.
I believe this is because of the popular belief that Christians cannot have
demons. Those in need of deliverance often think they are just in spiritual
warfare, and it's God's will for them to be harassed by the enemy. Nothing
could be further from the truth!
Spiritual warfare is a reality and is found in the Bible. Acts 10:38 says,
"How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power:
who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the
devil; for God was with him.".

The Enemy Loves to Put Thoughts into the Believer's Mind

The enemies thoughts (if meditated on), will generate strongholds which
produces adversarial feelings. These powerful strongholds deliver you into
a spiritual bondage which creates an incorrect discernment of who you are
in Christ.
"I, even I, am he that blotteth out thy transgressions for mine own sake, and
will not remember thy sins." (Isa. 43:25).

Babylon Prince
The Prince of Persia, the territorial spirit of the first world order, Babylon,
is raising his ugly head. This is the powerful principality that brought to a
standstill Daniel’s twenty-one day prayer and fasting session from being
answered. He was seeking God concerning the return of his people to their
land after their long captivity in Babylon. God sent a mighty angel to fight
against the Prince of Persia. This demonic power tried to stop the answer
of Daniel’s prayer from getting through by restraining God’s angel in a
spiritual warfare. This supernatural battle proves that even though the
Principality over the country tried to stop his prayer, God sent His powerful
angel Michael to battle this hindering fallen angel. These Scriptures reveal
that Daniel had spiritual weapons. These weapons were repentance, faith
in God, fasting, and prayers. This is the same Prince of Persia that is at war
today in Iraq and he still rules the territory of the old city of Babylon.
You may remember it was in ancient Babylon that Nimrod and his queen,
Semiramis, built the Tower of Babel. Their goal was to unite all the people
of the earth as one under the control of the pagan Mystery Babylon
Religion. Amazingly, the events of Babylon are now being repeated as
humans honor its new ”Tower of Babel”, as the revived New World Order
comes into view complete with one universal language and the trappings
of a universal pagan religion.
Saddam Hussein saw himself as King Nebuchadnezzar II. He placed King
Nebuchadnezzar I statues everywhere alongside his own. He even appears
to resemble the first Nebuchadnezzar. Although Saddam has rebuilt the city
of Babylon by restoring its gods, goddess and temples, he considers himself
as the coming world leader, the Antichrist. However, he was rejected for
that position by the powers of the world.
The Bush Administration went to war with Iraq and has superior military
weaponry, but this was not a physical war. It was a spiritual war. Powerful
spiritual beings are motivating it, their goal, to capture the city of Babylon
for the city of the Antichrist. This was a war battling for territorial dominion
to fulfill the book of Revelation, Chapter Eighteen. A great angelic spiritual
war was unleashed and would take more than physical weapons to win it
reminiscent to David in the Bible when he slew the giant affirmed, “Thou
comest to me with a sword, and with a spear, and with a shield: but I come
to thee in the name of the LORD of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel,
whom thou hast defied.”.
However, the attack on Babylon was stirred by the powers of Hell and
greedy men and women who were seeking a new world order. God’s people
today must become spiritual, seeing events through the eyes of God to pray
to defeat the armies of Satan.
The fact is this is a war that must be won! Satanic powers want America and
the Christian Church of our Lord Jesus Christ to fail. The restoration of the
city of Babylon was one of the “Signs of the Times”, a warning to every true
child of God of the approach-of the end of “the Age of the Gentiles”. But
regrettably because of the absence of warning from the Christian pulpits,
thousands of God's children are entering these times unprepared to meet
the barbarous attacks of Satan and his plan of releasing world-wide spirits
of chaos.
Here’s how you and I, working together can do our part to win the war on
terrorism and best serve our nation and our God. The Church must be in
intercession prayer during these dangerous days.

 Part Two
Conquering Power
God’s spiritual dominion is the most astonishing power in the universe.
God has always worked through humans to accomplish bring His kingdom
to the earth. We must take heaven by force. Just as God gave the people of
Israel the promise then told them to take it by force.
“All the cunning of the devil is exercised in trying to tear us away from the
word.” Martin Luther.
The Apostle Paul gave the Church the apocalyptic knowledge of the powers
and principalities in Eph. 6. He disclosed that the church was in spiritual
warfare and gave us the keys to spiritual warfare by using our spiritual
weapons. Jesus Christ also told us in Matthew 11:12, “The kingdom of
heaven suffereth violence and the violent take it by force.” Intercessors
must break through the powers of darkness with spiritual military force
warring against the kingdom of darkness.
The Church of Jesus Christ has to be the difference in every institution in
the community. Jesus’ Saints are His instruments on this earth as He is
sitting at the right hand of God waiting and willing to give the power to
win every spiritual battle. Remember our battle is never against flesh and
blood and goal only concerns the spiritual condition of souls. We are not
at war for gaining territorial lands or governments.

Spiritual Armor, Weapons

He gave the Church spiritual armor and weapons. Our weapons are prayer,
using His name, His blood, His Word and His power. The Apostle Paul
shows this transference of Jesus’ power to usward who believe in Ephesians
1:19-22, “And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to usward who
believe, according to the working of his mighty power, which he wrought in
Christ, when he raised him from the dead and set him at His own right hand
in the heavenly places. Far above all principality and power and might, and
dominion, and every that is named not only in this world, but also in that
which is to come: And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be
the head over all things to the church.” The problem is some Saints never
understand their position in Jesus Christ.
The Bible says, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because
thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no
priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget
thy children.” (Hos. 4-6).
It’s time for Christians to look to Jesus and win the battle for souls.

Strategies for Taking Territories

Territorial taking power is shown in both the Old Testament and New
Testament. It is not a new idea, only it is a strategy that has been lost too
much of the Body of Christ. Territorial spirits take over for God can only
be understood spiritually by a careful examination from the Word of God.
Territories are shown as either under the power of God’s people or under
the power of Satan’s servants. Territorial taking responds to the faith and
obedience of God’s servants. The subjection to Satan by his subjects
slavishly holds territories and is moved by demonic supernatural powers
or by supernatural beings.
Territorial taking people should have knowledge of demonology. They had
better have Biblical discernment of this issue.

Demonology
The authorized English version of the New Testament is less clear in its
presentation of "Demonology" than is the original Greek. It translates
"diabolus" "daimonion" and "daimon" by the same word, "Devil".
The word "diabolus" (Devil), meaning "slanderer” or “false accuser" is
only used in the New Testament in the singular and appears 35 times. The
words "daimonion" and "daimon" are used in the New Testament both in
the singular and plural, but never interchangeably with "diabolus" and
should be translated, “Ademon” or "evil" or "unclean spirit". The word
"daimonion" occurs 56 times and "daimon" 5 times.
There is but one Devil (Satan), but multitudes of "demons" Beelzebub, is
the "Prince of the Demons" (Matt. 12:24-30). Satan has not the power of
omnipresence, and so many things attributed to him should be attributed
to demons. On important occasions, such as, the Temptation of Jesus in
the Wilderness, Satan himself is the agent. The "demons" belong to the
"powers of darkness" and they are not few in number, but are great "militant
host" veterans in the service of Satan. Their central camp or abode is the
bottomless pit from which they "sally forth" at the command of their leader,
(Rev. 9: 1-11).
That the "Demons" have a personality is clear from the fact that Jesus
conversed with them, asked them questions, and received answers, (Lk.
8:26-33). They are possessed of more than ordinary intelligence. They
know that Jesus is the "Son of God” and that they are finally to be confined
in a place of "Torment” (Matt. 8:29).

The Power of Demons over the Human Body

They can cause DUMBNESS (Matt. 9:32-33), and BLINDNESS (Matt.
12:22), and INSANITY (Lk. 8:26-35), and the SUICIDAL MANIA (Mk.
9:22), and PERSONAL INJURIES (Mk. 9:18), and impart
SUPERNATURAL STRENGTH (Lk. 8:29), and inflict PHYSICAL
DEFECTS AND DEFORMITIES (Lk. 13:11-17). Once they have got
control over a human body they can come and go at will (Lk. 11:24-26).
The Devilish character of "Demons" is seen in the use the make of their
victims. They use them as "instruments of unrighteousness" (Rom. 6:13),
for the proclamation of the "DOCTRINES 0F DEVILS" (1 Tim. 4:1), and
the teaching of "DAMNABLE HERESIES" (II Pet. 2:1). The effect of such
use of the victim not only unmoral, it is IMMORAL. It leads to vicious and
inhuman conduct. The conduct of "demonized" men and women seems to
indicate that the "Demon" takes possession of them for the purpose physical
sensual gratification, and the SIN OF SENSUALITY. This accounts for the
desire of the victim to live in a state of nudity, to have lustful and licentious
thoughts. In these days increasing tendencies to yield to "Seducing Spirits"
it may account for the immodesty of fashionable attire, and the craze of
dancing. The purpose of the "Demon" is often to alienate husband and wife,
and break up homes by preaching the doctrine of "FREE LOVE".
In short, the "Demon" for personal gratification, has the power, once he
is in control of his victim, to derange both mind and body, and wreck the
victim's health, and if deliverance is not obtained by turning to Christ, who
alone has power to cast out the Demon, the victim will be lost soul and
body.
Demon-possession must not be confounded with diseases, such as
Epilepsy, which causes the victim to fall in convulsions, foams at the mouth
and gnash the teeth, for the Scriptures make a clear distinction between
them.
"And His fame went throughout all Syria; and they brought unto Him all
sick people that were taken with divers diseases and torments, and those
which were possessed with devils (Demons "daimonizomai,"demonized or
demon possessed), and those which were lunatic, and those that had the
palsy; and He healed them." (Matt. 4:24).
In I Corinthians 10:20-21, we read, "But I say, that the things which the
Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to devils (Demons), and not to God; and I
would not that ye should have fellowship with devils (Demons). Ye cannot
drink the “Cup of the Lord” (Communion Cup), and the “cup of devils”;
ye cannot be partakers of the “Lord's Table,” and of the table of devils
(Demons).".
We are also told in Rev. 9:1-12, of an invasion of "Infernal Cherubim” or
"Locusts" from the "Bottomless Pit" in the Last days. And we are told that
"Three unclean spirits" are to gather the kings of the Earth for the great
Battle of Armageddon (Rev. 16:13-16). And we read in Rev. 18:2, that
the restored and rebuilt city of Babylon, shall, before its destruction, the
habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit and a cage of every
unclean and hateful bird. You simply cannot pray correctly without the
knowledge that you are in a battle and the forces that you are fighting are
demons that are trying to fulfill the plans of Satan.

Prayer
Prayer is the characteristic activity of the Christian. It is impossible to
contain the dimension of this experience in a single definition. It is the
communication between man and God. It is the opening of the skylight of
the soul to the life that is above. One writer said, in prayer God, “invites us
to live with Him.”. Prayer offered in faith is one of man’s most powerful
resources.
 Part Three
How Should You Pray?
You should pray in the Name of Jesus. In Jn. 14:14, “If ye shall ask any
thing in my name, I will do it.”. Prayer isn’t real unless it is offered in
the name of Jesus. It is popular to gather people together in what is called
an interfaith group ”for the purpose of praying for world peace.”. Even
President Bush practices this type of Christianity. However, either Jesus is
the Mediator or could He possibly stand on the same self as all other gods?
Jesus said, “No man cometh unto the Father but by me.” (Jn. 14:6). A
prayer that leaves Jesus’ Name out dishonors Christ and displeases God;
after all, Jesus is the one Who shed His blood for us. “And whatsoever ye
shall ask in my name that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the
Son.” (Jn.13:14).
Praying apart from the name of Jesus is futile according to Acts 4:12,
“Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under
heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.”. The apostle John
takes the stand that, “Jesus is glorified when we pray!” (Jn. 14:13-14).

The Scope of Prayer

Ask the condition of prayer; in my name and the ground of prayer. This
involves at least two things: praying in the authority Christ gives (Matt.
28:19 and Acts 3:6) and praying in union with Him, so that one does not
pray outside His Will that will I do. The certainty of prayer, that the Father
may be glorified in the Son. The purpose of prayer; if ye shall ask the if it
is on the side of the one who prays and not on the side of Christ.
Learn to use the name of Jesus in accordance with the Word of God. “And
his name through faith in his name hath made this man strong, whom ye
see and know: yea, the faith which is by him hath given him this perfect
soundness in the presence of you all.” (Acts 3:16).

What Happens When You Pray?

You will get a better understanding of God, the Bible and Life. Your faith
will be increased. Prayer changes people. When you ask, seek, knock, God
is in the prayer-answering business.

We Should Pray in a Forgiving Spirit

“And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that
your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses. But
if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive
your trespasses.” (Mk. 11:25-26).

We Should Pray in Faith-Believing

“And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall
receive.” (Matt 21:22). You must learn to pray in faith In Jas. 1:5-8, “If any
of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and
upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. But let him ask in faith, nothing
wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the
wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing
of the Lord. A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.”.

When Should We Pray?

The Bible says to “Pray without ceasing.” (I Thess. 5:17). Jesus told us to
pray also in Lk. 1, “And he spake in a parable unto them to this end, that
men ought always to pray and not faint.”.
We should pray when everything is going all right. This is a dangerous time
for a Christian is they likely to forget God. We should pray when sorrow
and trouble come. We should pray when we don’t feel like praying. We
should pray to call God’s presence into our presence.

The Spirit of Intercession

Intercession prayer is the petition or entreaty in behalf of another as act of
mediating between two parties for the purpose of effecting reconciliation.
One of the offices of Christ is that of intercession. In his capacity of a
mediator he intercedes with God the Father on Behalf of mankind. The
Bible teaches us that the Holy Spirit also makes intercession for us. In the
epistles of Paul there is considerable emphasis on the duty of Christians to
intercede for one another.

Nation Will Fall into Darkness

Isaiah shows how the condition of the land when God does not have an
intercessor. The entire nation will fall into darkness. However, God is
faithful and He seeks for a man to accept the responsibility to stand before
His throne to plead for His people. “For, behold, the darkness shall cover
the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon
thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.” (Isa. 60:2). Then we see in
the previous chapter, Isaiah 59, “God pleading for someone to stand in the
gap for His people.”.
In Isa. 59:15-60, “Yea, truth faileth; and he that departeth from evil maketh
himself a prey: and the LORD saw it, and it displeased him that there was
no judgment. And he saw that there was no man, and wondered that there
was no intercessor: therefore his arm brought salvation unto him; and his
righteousness, it sustained him. For he put on righteousness as a breastplate,
and an helmet of salvation upon his head; and he put on the garments of
vengeance for clothing, and was clad with zeal as a cloke. According to
their deeds, accordingly he will repay, fury to his adversaries, recompence
to his enemies; to the islands he will repay recompense. So shall they fear
the name of the LORD from the west, and his glory from the rising of the
sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD
shall lift up a standard against him. And the Redeemer shall come to Zion,
and unto them that turn from transgression in Jacob, saith the LORD. As
for me, this is my covenant with them, saith the LORD. My spirit that is
upon thee, and my words which I have put in thy mouth, shall not depart
out of thy mouth, nor out of the mouth of thy seed, nor out of the mouth of
thy seed's seed, saith the LORD, from henceforth and forever.”.
God Needs You!
The world is in need of self-denying intercessors, people who will sacrifice
their time for the church and the nation in prayer. Revival will come on the
wings of prayer. We must return to God’s way concerning the issues of our
country. Territorial warfare must return to God’s people to bring revival to
the church. Moses’ intercession is epitomized when he was chosen to lead
God’s people. He said, "O, this people have sinned a great sin, and have
made them gods of gold. Yet now, if thou wilt forgive their sin, and if not,
blot me, I pray thee, out of thy book which thou hast written.”.
Moses delivered a nation from bondage of slavery and he was so devoted to
his people, he was actually asking God to strike him dead and wipe his name
out of the Book of Life! He was demonstrating that the number one reality
of intercession is death to your flesh and love for the people. Many times,
he is shown struggling in prayer because of the condition of his people.
 Part Four
How to Take Our Cities for God
“And it came to pass in those days, that the Philistines gathered their armies
together for warfare, to fight with Israel. And Achish said unto David,
Know thou assuredly, that thou shalt go out with me to battle, thou and thy
men. And David said to Achish, Surely thou shalt know what thy servant
can do. And Achish said to David, Therefore will I make thee keeper of
mine head forever.” (I Sam 28:1-2).

Occupy
Jesus admonished us to “Occupy until I come.”. The word occupy means
to take possession of Jesus placed His business and His great work in the
hands of his servants.

How Do we Occupy?
We occupy when we are faithful to our calling. “His lord said unto him,
Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a
few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy
of thy lord.” (Matt 25:21).

We Occupy by Sending Out the Gospel

Sending missionaries and by going and witness for Jesus ourselves. “But
ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and
ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in
Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.” (Acts 1:8).

We Occupy by Rendering a Faithful Stewardship

“Moreover it is required in stewards that a man be found faithful.” (I Cor.
4:2). God is holding each of us responsible for his or her stewardship.
“Occupy till I come” means we will give an account to Jesus. Give account
of how, Awe used our time.”. Give an account of “how we used our talent
and give an account of how Awe used our tithes.”. It is very important for
Saints to get familiar with the Scriptures of “giving.”. They should pray
about where they are giving. Some Saints are throwing their money away
into a black hole by giving to unscrupulous ministers who are preaching
for money, fame and whatever. Gospel money is just that, to get the Gospel
to lost dying souls. It is not to promote someone’s ministry so they can live
in great mansions and drive expensive cars.
Abraham established the tithe. “And blessed be the most high God, which
hath delivered thine enemies into thy hand. And he gave him tithes of
all.” (Gen 14:20). He was a sinner saved by the grace of God and he gave
tithes under grace and not under the Law, (Gal. 38: Rom. 4:3, Gal. 3:6 and
Gen. 15.6). It was Abraham, a sinner saved by grace, who “gave him tithes
of all.” (Gen. 14:20).
This should shame Christians, “Abraham gave to Melchisedec, the
representative of Christ, more than many of give to Christ Himself.” (Heb.
7:1-10).

Jacob Introduced the Tithe

“Jacob after an all-night spent at Bethel made a vow.” (Gen. 18:20-22).
Then Moses set forth the tithe as a law in Leviticus 27:30-32, “And all the
tithes of the land, whether of the seed of the land, or of the fruit of the
tree, is the LORD's: it is holy unto the LORD. And if a man will at all
redeem ought of his tithes, he shall add thereto the fifth part thereof. And
concerning the tithe of the herd, or of the flock, even of whatsoever passeth
under the rod, the tenth shall be holy unto the LORD.”.

Malachi Commanded the Tithe

The man or woman who withholds God’s Tithe from God’s treasury and
uses it for himself or herself is a ROBBER. What are you, reader? The
Word says, “will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say,
wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings, ye are cursed with a
curse: for ye have robbed me, even this whole nation. Bring ye all the tithes
into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me
now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows
of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough
to receive it.” (Mal. 3:8-10).

Jesus Christ Endorsed the Tithe

The Jesus Christ placed His endorsement on the tithe by saying, “Think not
that I am come to destroy the law, but to fulfill.” (Matt 5:17).
Every born again believer has one high Priest, the Lord Jesus Christ, who
is within the veil in heavenly tabernacle. Jesus Christ is the tithe receiving
high priest (Gen. 14:20 and Heb. 9:11-14). How do you think He builds
His world-wide church?

Tithing is the Acid Test of a Believer’s Life

“A born again believer will hear God’s Word.” (Jn. 8:47). Anyone who
claims to be saved, and refuses to believe in and practice the giving of the
tithe as taught in Scripture, is without doubt saying to the world, I am not
saved: I have never been born again, because if he were, he would hear
God’s words on giving. He would believe God’s words on giving and he
would make a desperate effort to practice God’s word on giving. However,
just what does tithing have to do with territorial taking? We must build
God’s territory as we take territories from Satan. Taking the land for God
can only happen as we walk in obedience to God. And Jesus is in the
business of developing local churches. It will lift the curse off your
neighborhood and bring gospel producing people into the field.
 Part Five
Joshua, Faith-Territorial Warfare
Joshua, the son of Nun and the successor Moses as the leader of the
Israelites, a close examination of his life shows that his authority came from
his relationship with God. The Bible says, “There shall not any man be able
to stand before thee all the days of thy life: as I was with Moses, so will
be with thee. I will not fail thee, nor forsake thee. Be strong and of a good
courage: for unto this people shalt thou divide for an inheritance the land,
which I sware unto their fathers to give them.” (Josh. 1:5).
The secret of his power was his devotion and adherence to the Word of
God. His prosperity came from his obedience to the Law, “This book of
the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shall meditate therein
day and night that thou mayest observe to according to all that is written
therein; for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt
have good success.” (Josh. 1:8).
He stayed faithful to God until the very end. He charges the people, “Now
Therefore fear the Lord, and serve him in sincerity and in truth; and put
away the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the flood,
and in Egypt; and serve ye the Lords. And if it seem evil unto you to serve
the Lord choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which
your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of
the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell; but as for me and my house, we will
serve the Lord.” (Josh. 24:14).
Territorial battles are won when one has a zeal for Godly values and will
want to raise His standards through spiritual warfare.

Jezebel, a Territorial Spirit and Elijah, a Territorial Taking Prophet

King Ahab was willing to give his inheritance of being ruler of the nation by
giving his wife the authority for her to promote her gods over its religious
system. She took the nation and turned it to paganism. Of course, since
everything is spiritual, it is only a matter of time before she began to move
into the secular realms to grab power. The Jezebel spirit is a territorial
taking spirit.
While Israel clearly was influenced by some of the traditions of her
neighbors, the Hebrew prophets and religious leaders abhorred other
aspects of these cultures. First they condemned such religious practices as
idolatry, common in Canaan and in the surrounding regions. “I am the Lord
your God You shall have no other gods before me. You shall not make for
yourself a graven image.” (Exod. 20:2-4).
The Hebrews called a pagan deity to whom child sacrifices were often made
by the contemptuous title Molech. This name combines the Hebrew
consonants for “King” with the vowels from the word meaning shame. The
Bible says that Ahab looked upon his marriage to Jezebel “as a light thing.”.
Yet, this woman was a witch-idolater and was able to take the entire nation
over for her gods.
The Ahab spirit promoted a wishy-washy man to be unstable in all his ways.
He was efficient and strong in manipulative and administrative powers but
weak and vacillating in the face of his powerful wife, Jezebel. "But there
was none like unto Ahab, which did sell himself to work wickedness in
the sight of the Lord, whom Jezebel his wife stirred up. And he did very
abominably in following idols, according to all things as did the Amorites,
whom the Lord cast out before the children of Israel.” (I Kn. 21:25).
He gave his authority to his wife and even when she abused it. He remained
passive. Ahab’s marriage to Jezebel proved to be a major factor in the
eventual fall of the Omride dynasty.
Jezebel was a clever and determined woman, devoted to the worship of
Baal and Ahserah and determined to substitute their worship for that of the
true God. “And it came to pass, as if it had been a light thing for him to
walk in the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat that he took to wife Jezebel
the daughter of Ethbaal king of the Zidonians, and went and served Ball,
and worshiped him. And he reared up an altar for Baal in the house of Baal,
which he had built in Samaria. And Ahab made a grove; and Ahab did more
to provoke the Lord God of Israel to anger than all the King of Israel that
were before him.” (I Kn. 16:31).
It was she, being devoid of the antiauthoritarian principles which
characterized the religion of the Hebrews, who secured the vineyard of
Naboth for her pouting husband (usurpation of his authority). This
deplorable offence became a battle cry of the revolution to overthrow the
house of Omri.
Elijah appeared before King Ahab to declare the Word of God to him
concerning the subject of God’s judgment. He actually spoke and forbid
the rain. Elijah said, “the Lord God of Israel liveth, before whom I stand,
there shall not be dew nor rain these years, but according to my word.” (I
Kn. 17:1).
God was going to judge Jezebel’s capture of the nation (territory) through
the practice of witchcraft and goddess worship. Amazingly God used the
commitment and obedience of one man to provoke these powers of
darkness that had control of the entire kingdom. Elijah’s narrative is one
that when God turned His eyes on a nation to deliver it from Satan’s hands.
He moved through a human vessel. To become a territorial taking warrior,
you must make note of the fact that God and one man became a majority
in the spiritual realms.
After God’s wrath of judgment was poured out for Ahab’s rebellion, Elijah
returned to challenge his wife’s Jezebel’s gods of Baal and Asherah. The
Bible says, “And it came to pass, when Ahab saw Elijah, that Ahab said
unto him Art thou he that troubleth Israel?” (I Kn. 18: 1).
When a person is in sin, they always want to place the blame for his
condition upon someone else.
The curses of rebellion had brought much suffering to the land.
Uncontrollably, the evil power using nature had brought King Ahab to his
knees. In his desperation, he was willing to listen to Elijah’s. He allowed
him to oppose the false prophets and Jezebel’s gods. Elijah wars the power
of Jezebel’s god Baalim on the mountaintop of Mount Carmel. He boldly
fought against the prophets of Baal, and the prophets of Asherah. There
were four hundred and fifty and the prophets of the groves, four hundred,
which sat at Jezebel’s table. After Ahab gathered the prophets together and
the people, Elijah said, “How long halt ye between two opinions? If the
Lord be God, follow Him; but if Baal, then follow him. And the people
answered him not a word.” (I Kn. 18: 21).
The Word says that after winning this great spiritual battle, all the false
prophets were killed by the people. Elijah had rebuilt the altar of God and
the people fell on their faces to worship Jehovah. In his zeal and victory,
Elijah announced the abundance of the sound of rain warning the king to
go to Zezreel before it began. The king left and Elijah went alone to pray.
He cast himself down to ground, put his face between his knees and sent
his servant to look for a cloud to form toward the sea. After the seventh
time, the servant announced to Elijah, That he saw a small cloud about the
size of a man’s hand. Elijah sent him to tell the king to prepare his chariot
so that he would miss the rain.
The heaven was black with clouds and wind, and there was a great rain.
Ahab rode and went to Zezreel. And the hand of the Lord was upon Elijah
and he ran before the chariot of the king. Think about it. He actually ran
forty miles, faster than the king’s team of horses to the city. It was
miraculous that he could run thirty miles before the Ahab’s chariot. The
powerful anointing of God was still upon him.
The truth is, whenever a person has ministered under the anointing of God,
it takes a while for God’s anointing to lift. Do we see anywhere in this
account that God told Elijah to go to city to challenge Jezebel? Did Elijah
in his excitement and zeal for his victory, go before he sought God’s next
move?
I believe that this is where Elijah failed. He should have gone apart
returning to the presence of God, building himself up on the Word of God,
before attempting to face the next battle. After winning a victory, the person
is on a spiritual high, and must settle down because they need to discover
the next part of God’s plan. The minister will begin to act in the flesh. The
person will loosen spiritual strength if they push ahead before God’s time.

Baal Destroyed by the Fire of Jehovah

It was customary to honor a king by running before his chariot (Verse 46;
Exod. 12:11; II Kin. 3:29; 9:1; Lk. 12:37; 17:8 and Acts 12:8). Ahab made
his report to Jezebel regarding the prophets of Baal being destroyed by the
fire of Jehovah. She rejected his account of the miraculous fire and of the
supernatural superior power of Elijah’s’ over her pagan prophets. Her heart
was hardened and it caused her determined to kill Elijah who had caused
her idol gods to be so humiliated.

The Bondage of Fear

We see in verse I Kn. 19:1, Ahab tells Jezebel about everything that had
happened on the top of Mount Carmel. Jezebel is furious and sent a
messenger (messengers were angelic beings in the Bible) to Elijah to
threaten to take his life. Then a very curious thing develops. This brave
man is shown running away in fear for his life. The Word says, “Then
when he saw that, “he arose and ran for his life” (I Kn. 19:3a). He was now
running to Mount Horeb, completely out of the will of God. He was no
longer looking for God to lead and direct him.
We see this thing called “that” evidently it released fear upon him. His
doorway was opened for that demonic spirit to discharge fear into him and
the bondage of fear, brought spirits of self-pity, oppression and depression.
Fear is the exact opposite of faith. He had received the spirit of fear bringing
hordes of demons to join him.
What was “that” and who was the “messenger” that Jezebel sent to this
prophet of God? Why didn’t she just send someone to kill Elijah without
first warning him? Witchcraft always works with the spirit of fear! Elijah
had to accept the spirit and fear before Jezebel’s powers could work.
Did Elijah really run in fear from the woman Jezebel, as many teach today?
Remember, Elijah had killed all of Jezebel’s prophets on the mountaintop
thereby showing faith to attack her gods. Could, what was simply described
as “that” has been the chief evil demonic principality over Jezebel’s
witchcraft power abiding in the city? Could the messenger have been a
chief evil angel that was aiding her jurisdiction over the nation? The
messenger was most definitely an evil spiritual being or a fallen angel.
And so, the messenger that was sent by Jezebel was a powerful evil angel,
or demon. Jezebel was setting Elijah up to receive a spirit of fear by her
threat of death. Witchcraft powers work with fear. Fear is the opposite of
faith and opens the spiritual doorway for entrance of evil forces to enter.
Before a witch is able to be effective in sending evil spirits for destruction,
she will always send a message to the intended victim to inform of her evil
intentions. This message can come in the form of a threat or it could come
in the form of an object that is used in her blood sacrifices such as a voodoo
doll. The witch has to appease her spirits before they will obey her request.
Before conjuring her powers to cause the death, the witch must plead with
the evil spirits to go and obey her command. However, before the spirits
obey, they must be worshiped by blood sacrifices. This is why Jezebel sent
the messenger (evil angel) to Elijah. She had to open his spirit to fear before
she could penetrate his shield of faith. Remember. This man, Elijah was
a godly man that had faith to raise the dead! Then she had to appease the
demons with blood sacrifices before they would obey her commands.
So did Elijah run in fear from the woman, Jezebel’s threat or did he run
from the intimidating appearance and powers of the demons that were
controlling Jezebel? The Bible said that when he saw something called
“that” then he ran for his life. “That” must have been so formidable,
grotesques and startling, that the spirit of fear came upon him. This thing
called “that” caused him to be filled with terror and he ran for in terror
for life. Elijah is seen, after he saw “that,” he instantly became a changed
man. He received a religious transformation. He was totally dispirited, no
longer a strong man of faith, he is shown as a man charged and filled fear.
Suddenly, his character has shifted from a man full of the power of God to
a man so weakened from the oppression of evil spirits that he just wants
to sleep. Even after an angel appears, awakens him to feed him, he goes
back to sleep. This is a picture of man being weighed down by the power
of evil spirits.
The same type of serious oppression can be seen when the disciples were
sleeping in the Garden of Gethsemane while Jesus was under heavy
spiritual attack. This is why the Church is sleeping in our time.

Spiritual Submission to God is Important Before Battles Can be

Won!
Elijah had raced victoriously into Jezebel’s territory to conquer her
predominate rule over God’s people. The evil powers and principalities
were totally controlling this area through the manipulations of this powerful
witch. Elijah came under intense bewitching spirits as long as he was in
Jezebel’s domain. These spirits followed him as he ran in terror. He would
have never survived Jezebel’s witchcraft attack, if God had not sent a
ministering angel to strengthen and support him.
After this angel fed him and gave him drink, Elijah was able to fast and
walk for forty days, leaving Jezebel’s territory. However, the effects of her
evil spirits were still present after he left her territory. She had thrown him
in spiritual confusion and many evils and troubles had befallen upon him.
He was dispirited, melancholic, and in a state of confusion, seeking God’s
presence at Mount Horeb. It seems that he was going toward Mount Horeb
without being in the direct will of God to do so. But God enabled him to
go in his own self-will. Even so, Elijah had to learn that self-made plans,
never work out. Eventually one has to go back to where to the point that he
left off following the direct will of God, if he wants Him to lead and guide.
This was not for him to go to Mount Horeb for when he arrived, he was
sent back farther north to than the place where he had started from (Verse.
15-18). Over 80 days of much hard traveling was his only reward except
for the new experience of hearing from God.
Horeb was about 180 miles south of the place where he sat under a juniper
tree. His was a slow journey, for it took him 40 days to get there (Verse 8).
Perhaps this was because of his fast. The journey north again was over 300
miles. In Verse 15, this question confirms the fact that God did not tell this
prophet to go to mount Horeb. However God permitted him to go where he
desired, before giving him the next assignment. It seemed he was so moved
with fear to get away, that he did not inquire of God what to do. Fear brings
doubt and blocks the voice of God. He had lost his spiritual ears. The Lord
could have protected him without going this drawn-out distance to mount
Horeb and the back north to Syria.
This shows the serious turmoil that Elijah found himself. He was in a state
of outright religious confusion. Why did he have to go looking for God?
Didn’t Elijah find God at the brook of Cherith? Didn’t Elijah find Him on
the mountain when he demonstrated the power of God? However under
Jezebel’s witchcraft spell, he found himself in religious chaos. Jezebel’s
demons had totally bound his mind by evil spirits that he seemed to have
forgotten the great spiritual battle that he had previously won.
When God spoke to him again there were three great things that God was
not in, a great wind (Verse 11), a great earthquake, a great fire. When Elijah
raced before the chariot of King Ahab, God was positively not in Elijah’s
honoring him. Remember, when he returned to Jezebel, he returned to his
weak, passive state of mind. God looks into the heart of a person. He
discerned that the King’s change of heart would only last until he returned
to his wife.
Elijah discovered God was in the still small voice (Verse 12). Covering
his face was a sign of reverence, in the presence of God. After his second
visit with the small still voice, in Verse 9:13, God was saying to him, “I
did not ask you to come here; go right back north.” (Verse 13-16). He had
to face the giants of Jezebel’s territory in order to finish his course for the
cause of God.
Jezebel had sent powerful bewitching spirits of mental illness, oppression,
depression, confusion, doubt, destruction, pain, suicide and death. Elijah
cried to God to die. He blamed the people to God for his fear and defeat.
He told God that the people had torn down His altar and were not following
Him. Did we see Elijah rebuild the altar of God and the people turned and
fell upon their faces in worship of the true God? His victories had receded in
the depths of his doubts and fears. Elijah was being tormented in his mind.
These powerful blocking-mind controlling spirits seems to have caused
him to misplace his memory of these things because he repeats his charges
to God. He is seen suffering from a spirit of isolation because he believes
that he is the only one left, still serving God. If spirits can isolate a person,
they become more effective.
Understand that Jezebel’s demonic powers were working on his mind, body
and spirit from a distance. She had conjured-up killing demons and sent
them out. It was an all-out attack for his life. Witches do not have to be
present, to work their powers. They do their rituals and then send out their
evil spirits to do their craftsmanship.
Jezebel was just a human being, but a willing instrument to these evil
spirits. Satan had taken the territory by working his evil plans by Jezebel.
He revealed himself to Elijah in his ghastly appearance of evil. No, I believe
that Elijah did not run from Jezebel the woman. He ran from the witchcraft
and idolatry gods (demons) of Jezebel that were controlling the territory!
Elijah had successfully defeated the gods of the mountain. Evil spirits abide
where people live. On the other hand, the gods of the city were different.
There were more of them. They were stronger, more intimidating because
there were more humans willing submitting to them in sin. Notice that
Jezebel’s messenger (demon spirit) was not fearful to approach the man
of God that had just defeated the gods (demon spirits) of the mountain.
These city evil spirits were more powerful. They had successfully taken
over the entire nation and murdered all the prophets of Jehovah. Every time
a religious spirit defeats a child of God, that spirit gains strength!
In my ministry of deliverance, I have found that every time a demon defeats
a child of God, he becomes bolder and stronger and begins to think of itself
as invincible. If a spirit that defeats a child of God, that evil spirit will lose
his fear of God’s people. Nonetheless, Jezebel’s demons were successful
because they had killed God’s prophets. Also, they had control of a
committed agreeable vessel. They had used her witchcraft powers to take
over the territory and bring its people to the feet of Satan. The entire nation
had fallen into churlish sins of idolatry, witchcraft and goddess worship.
Interestingly, the word ANGEL (Hebrew-mal`ak and Greek-angelos) both
mean "messenger". In some cases the word is applied to human beings
(Mal. 2:7 and Rev.1:20) or even figuratively to impersonal agents (Exod.
14:19, 2 Sam. 24:16-17 and Psa. 104:4). The connection must determine its
force. In its most common use in Scripture the word nevertheless designates
certain spiritual and superhuman beings that are introduced to us as
messengers of God.
There is harmony between the teachings of our Lord upon this subject and
those of the apostles and other Scripture writers. Many questions that may
be raised can receive no answer whatever from the Scriptures. Of the
history of the angels we can know but little. It is clear that Satan and the
fallen angels (demons) were created sinless and later fell (Isa. 14:12-15 and
Rev. 12:3-4). Some of their number "did not keep their own domain" but
fell under divine displeasure and are reserved "for the judgment of the great
day" (Jude 6).
Aside from the teachings of Scripture there is nothing irrational, but quite
the opposite, in believing in the existence of creatures superior to man in
intelligence, as there are many inferiors. But we depend wholly upon the
Scriptures for our knowledge. The denial of the existence of angels, as that
of a personal devil and demons, springs from the materialistic, unbelieving
spirit, which in its most terrible form denies the existence of God.
The truth is, the Jezebel spirit is a territory-taking principality. People who
are totally committed and submitted to God because this devil will come
after their life can only defeat this Jezebel spirit. In the Scripture, it took
another man, Elijah with a double anointing, and a school of the prophets
taught by Elijah to accomplish God’s plan for the nation of Elijah.

Deborah, Territorial Warrior

There are many places in the Old Testament Battles that required territorial
taking faith. Deborah was a prophetess and judge of Israel at a time when
Israel was oppressed by Jabin, King of Hazor, and Sisera, the general of his
powerful army. Deborah commanded Barak to gather men to engage Sisera
in Battle. Although reluctant, Barak carried out his mission but only with
Deborah at his side. He routed the army of Sisera. Sisera himself escaped
but was slain by Jael, the wife of Jeber the Kenite, who put him to sleep
with a glass of milk and then drove a tent peg into his temple.
The fact of this testimony is that another powerful woman, Deborah, had
the anointing of territorial taking power. Her submission to God had
elevated her to the position of prophetess and judge over the nation.
Many people today equate every woman who has spiritual power, as having
the spirit of Jezebel. Not so! It all depends upon whose power the woman
is submitted! If she is working for Satan, then she has a Jezebel spirit. If
she is working for God, then she is a royal, noble woman!
 Part Six
New Testament Breaking Territorial Spirits
The greatest spiritual battle happened in the Garden of Gethsemane when
every power and principality came to stop Jesus from His blood sacrifice.
The spiritual atmosphere was charged with spirits of heaviness and
oppression, that His disciples could not stay awake. The reign of Jesus
Christ on earth with His saints is as sure as His birth, life, death,
resurrection, ascension and High Priestly intercession. He has always
wanted His disciples to participate with Him in spiritual warfare as is shown
in Matthew 26: 40-45, “And he cometh unto the disciples, and findeth them
asleep, and saith unto Pet., What, could ye not watch with me one hour?
Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is
willing, but the flesh is weak. He left for the second time, and prayed,
saying, O my Father, if this cup may not pass away from me, except I drink
it, thy will be done. And he came and found them asleep again: for their
eyes were heavy. And he left them, and went away again, and prayer the
third time, saying the same words. Then cometh he to his disciples, and
saith unto them, Sleep on now, and take your rest: behold, the hour is at
hand, and the Son of man is betrayed into the hands of sinners.”.
The powers of Satan were waging warfare against the flesh of the Lord’s
disciples. Satan and every devil’s assignment were to defeat Jesus Christ’s
purpose for His life. If they had only known that the killing of Jesus would
turn into His victory and our redemption, they would have never crucified
the Lord.

Jesus’ Biggest Battle

Jesus was able to win the greatest spiritual battle of His life against the
powers of darkness alone. Every demon in the world came to the garden that
day to work against his failure. He was victorious through His prayer life to
defeat the principalities and powers of Satan, but seemed to be heartbroken
that these men were overcome by their corporeal weakness of the flesh and
could not participate with His victory. Remember, this battle was occurring
before they received their power to overcome by the power of the Holy
Ghost as is shown in Acts 1:8.
Jesus established His Church upon the rock of His Deity, His blood
sacrifice and the anointing and powers of the Holy Ghost. He believed that
His Church should be able to wage a militant successful war against the
powers of the Devil. His church was given the absolute ability to conquer
the powers of darkness and win the souls that He had died for. The Bible
shows in II Corinthians 10:3-5, that though Christians live in the world,
they do not wage war as the world does.
The weapons that we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the
contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. He left His
power for. His people to be victorious because we have the same anointing
through the Holy Ghost as Jesus did. Will you sleep during the greatest
battle of the end time Church while millions are in the valley of decision?

The Apostle Paul

God had a use for this former persecutor. He was to be a “chosen vessel” in
which the gospel would be carried to the Gentiles. His ministry shows the
clearest view of territorial usurpation in the New Testament. He began his
ministry in Syria and Cilicia, which probably lasted ten or eleven years. His
Fist Missionary Journey took Paul and Barnabas to the island of Cyprus
and to Southern Galatia and other cities in that area of Asia Minor (see
Acts 13-14).
The Second Missionary Journey which took about three years carried the
new faith across the continental boundary into Europe to such cities as
Philippi, Athens, and Corinth, in Acts 16:18.
The Third Missionary Journey many of the areas previously evangelized
was revisited. A great portion of the tour-about two and some half years
was spent in the work of Ephesus (Acts 19: 21).
Look at his work in the city of Athens. “Now while Paul waited for them
at Athens, his spirit was stirred in him, when he saw the city wholly given
to idolatry. And when they heard of the resurrection of the dead, some
mocked: and other said, we will hear thee again of this matter.” (Acts 17:
16, 17).
What did Paul see? He saw a city totally taken over by the spirit of idolatry.
Then he set himself to the purpose of taking back the territory for Christ!

The Great Evangelist Charles Finney

When this man of God came to a city, he came to take the territory. It was
written that he became an aggressive prayer warrior for each city before
attempting to minister. He prayed militantly, walking back and forth,
pacing and crying out for souls. He looked out the window and could see
the people milling about. They were bent over with the burdens of sin. He
stopped praying at intervals and said, “Can I go now Lord?”. The Lord
would answer, “Not yet.”. Finney continued to pace, fervently prayed, but
when he looked down at the people, they were still bent over as though
they were carrying heavy weights on their backs and they said, “Can I go
now Lord?”. The Lord said, “not yet.”. Finney prayed again but when he
saw the people this time, they were looking up, crying out, “Where is God?
Where is God?”. Then the Lord told Finney, “Now you can go.”.
The testimony of this event says that seventy-five thousand people were
saved. The bars shut down and the churches filled up. This is territorial
taking power!

Intercession Produces Territorial Victories

Among the most highly respected intercessors and spiritual warriors today
is Johannes Facius of Germany, coordinator, of Intercessors International.
I point this out so that we understand we are not talking about a novice,
but a veteran. He tells how back in 1986, a team of intercessors went to the
Soviet Union and entered the Lenin Mausoleum in Moscow. They felt they
should pronounce judgment upon the “gods of the Soviet system” from
Vladimir Lenin.
What happened in the heavenlies at that time we do not know. We do know
that Soviet Communism soon crumbled. But Facius says, “It was through
this move against Satan that I suffered one of the strangest attacks of
sickness that I have ever experienced.”. The initial attack lasted one day,
but soon afterward came a debilitating heart disease. He sees it as a
counterattack of the spirit of death that they had resisted in the Lenin
Mausoleum. Three years of severe depression followed. After that he was
delivered in a session that lasted less than 30 seconds!
We must guard against spiritual arrogance. If we go into spiritual warfare
and expect to have God’s power without humility on our part we are in
trouble. Paul said to the Corinthians “I was with you in weakness, in fear,
and in much trembling.” (I Cor. 2:3), and, “When I am weak, then I am
strong.” (II Cor. 12:10).
Nonetheless, Paul was one of the most powerful spiritual warriors in the
New Testament. He made even the satanic goddess, Diana of the Ephesian
to tremble! Effective spiritual warfare requires a delicate balance of
weakness and power. The minute we begin to think we are doing it
ourselves, we become vulnerable to the enemy’s attack.
Johannes Facius admits this was part of his problem. He knew he was to
stay in unbroken, intimate fellowship with the Lord. But he let it slip. Facius
said, “Due to too much busyness in the Lord’s business, I came to the point
where I let go of my dependency on the Lord.”

My Experience with Territorial Battles

I have been teaching on the subject of intercession for more than twenty-
five years. Several years ago, I took an evangelistic team to Jamaica. One of
the members of my team, Henry, was praying for the island one morning.
He prayed, “Lord why this island in such darkness is?”. Suddenly the
clouds parted and he saw a giant black dragon. On the dragon’s head, he
saw a black crow. The crow was walking back and forth across the dragon’s
head. The crow seemed to be walking like a sentry, watching the people
below.
When Henry told me about his experience, I prayed and sought the Lord
concerning these spiritual beings. The Lord showed me that these two
principalities were the instigators of black witchcraft. The island was taken
over by these powers.
The very next meeting, at the end of the preaching, I asked the entire church
to stand and pray. As the Christians prayed, I began to do warfare and
took authority over these evil principalities. I commanded them to loose the
people. In the islands, the churches are not air-conditioned. People gather
outside to watch the people and hear the music. After this territorial spiritual
warfare prayer, these people raced into the church and got saved, healed,
and filled with the Holy Spirit.
I repeated this spiritual warfare action each time we visited different
churches, and we experienced people running into the various churches to
receive Jesus!
Another interesting story happened in Ghana West Africa. I had been flying
for more than twenty-one hours and was very tired. At dawn, I was
awakened to the Islam cries of a man that was praying over the city. His
loud sound machine praying their morning prayer over the city and it
reverberated over the city coming into every household. I said, “Lord, if
that man can pray to his false god, I can battle him in the spirit for you!”. I
began to do spiritual warfare. I commanded the spirits to be bound and shut
their mouths. It was amazing, by the third day, I had beaten these demons
and we never heard them again.
When I returned to Ghana recently, the Bishop told me that one of his
preachers saw one of the Islam minister walking down the street. The Islam
minister asked him, “Is that white woman still staying at the Bishop’s
house?”. The Christian minister said, “No. How did you know that she was
staying there? She’s been binding our spirits and they came and told us
about her.”.
It was incredible that the city prayer crier is still not praying since I prayed
the first trip! More wonderful, Muslim people began to just show-up at the
Bishop’s gate. They were being saved. The Bishop’s wife’s grandmother
and mother who were former Muslims were filled with the Holy Spirit.
The grandmother, was bent over to the waist was suddenly healed and her
back was straightened by the power of God. Yes, I have experienced many
spiritual battles and have won yet another!
Another interesting experience that shows that spirits are territorial
happened some years ago. There was a woman that was practicing
witchcraft on the west coast of Florida. She found my book, the Walking
Dead in her mother in laws’ house. She stole the book and took it home.
She particularly liked the cover of the book and wanted to have it enlarged
so that she could put it over her satanic altar. The Holy Spirit had other
plans. He led her to read it!
This witch called me on the phone and asked me if she could be forgiven
and saved like the witch in the book. I replied, “Beyond a shadow of
doubt.”. The witch decided that she wanted to see to whom she was talking
on the phone. She wanted to know if I was a real Christian. She told me after
her conversion to Jesus that she killed a dog for a sacrifice and conjured-
up some evil spirits. Then she sent them across the state to “scan me”.
These demons returned to her to give a report. She could no longer see
them. She asked “why can’t I see you?”. The demons told her that when
they came to the author’s house, that I had bound them and put them in a
cage. They told her that they could never serve her again. Think about that!
I had bound them according Matthew 18:18 and they could never serve her
again! They were defeated!
She was perplexed. She conjured-up her most powerful spirit. This evil
spirit said that the witch would have to do some more sacrifices to bring
up a whole bunch of demons to go with her. These spirits returned back to
her and she could not see them. They told her, that I had also bound them
and put them in a cage. They said that they could not get into my house
because they saw angels everywhere. They said, “Call her and tell her to
stop praying for you, because she is praying invisible blood everywhere.
She is praying it down here to you.”.
The witch did call and ask me to stop praying for her. Of course, I still
prayed for her. One day, she drove across the state and came to my house.
She told me that she thought that I was a stronger witch and that I was
stealing her demons. I led her to the Lord Jesus and through deliverance and
she is still working for Him. She is leading people to Him while working
at a Hospice.
The interesting thing about this testimony is this witch had to send her
conjured demons across the state to see me before she knew anything about
me. I believe it is because her evil spirits only knew what was happening
in the territory that she lived in. They had to cross territorial lines to know
things in my area.

A Picture of Obedience
New Christians are like babies that have to learn to live in a new
supernatural environment. They have to establish a different connection
with the powers of darkness after salvation. Once they were will dupes to
these devils. They were slaves. However, they are now the sworn opponents
of the legions of Hell. They must be taught how to defeat these evil powers.
Whoever they were before they became Christians; adulterers, idolaters,
horoscope readers, witches, warlocks, fornicators, they must not have any
delusions about the devils’ reality or their hostility. They must not fear
them. They must believe that the devils’ no longer have any power over
them.
The Lord Jesus that lives inside of the Christian terrifies the devils. The
devils cannot touch them but they will try to seduce them. If they become
a serious Christian, the devils will target them. The Christian at times will
experience great opposition. The Christian should call upon the name of
Jesus and ask the Lord to send warring angels to protect them. They must
read the Bible and lean upon the Lord in obedience.
Jesus Christ is our Master, the One Who leads, and Who gives commands.
And we don’t have to wonder what He wants us to do, for God has revealed.
His will to us in the Bible. As we learn its principles and specific
commands, made known to us by the Holy Spirit we are to obey them
exactly and without question. When we obey, His work among His people
is accomplished. Philip’s response to the Holy Spirit was immediate in Acts
8:29, 30. Then the Spirit said to Philip, “Go near and overtake this chariot.”.
So Philip ran to him. Philip’s reaction to the Holy Spirit directive was
instantaneously obeyed. He didn’t wait for any further command or
prompting. He raced like Elijah did and caught the Ethiopian eunuch. He
found him reading the Scriptures. Had Philip hesitated, he might have
missed the opportunity to lead him to Jesus Christ!

We Should Always be Ready to Obey God

I am Yours, Lord, yet teach me all it means. All it involves of love and
loyalty. Holy service and absolute surrender. And unreservest obedience
unto Thee. Amen. The most fitting response to undeserved blessing is
unreserved obedience.

Jesus Christ is the Only Mediator

The Bible shows the devil at a great disadvantage concerning his power
over Christians. He is shown as an inferior antagonist in light of what Jesus
Christ gave to His church. Satan can only take the place that he is given.
The Word of God says in Jas. 4:7, “Submit yourselves to God, resist the
devil and he will flee from you.”. The Scripture makes it clear that the battle
is not our personal battle. We are part of the war but the battle is the Lord’s.
The unconquerable One leads us. The battle rests upon His ability and He
has already won the war! Read Jn. 14: 15-27.
“Jesus Christ is the only mediator between God and man.” (I Tim. 2:5). His
mission was fully accomplished. He is in full control and is exalted to the
Father’s right hand. He is the Master with almighty power. “Jesus came
to defy the power of Satan.” (Acts 26:18). He challenged the rule of Satan
(Col. 2:10) and conquered the right to dominion (Col. 2:14, 15). He set us
free from the cause of sin, (I Pet. 3:18). He can set us free from the curse
of sin, (I Pet. 5:10:11).
Life with Jesus Christ can be exciting and blessed with constant triumph
over evil forces but the battle never ends. Always remember that you and
Jesus are a majority. The warfare is stacked against Satan, not the Christian.
They may have periods of darkness and may encounter times of painful
struggle and discouragement. Then the Holy Spirit will break through the
darkness and moments of exultation and glory will be experienced. God is
always on our side!
 Part Seven
Prayer and Relationship with God
“For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to
the pulling down of strong holds.” (II Cor. 10:4).

Prayer and Victory

Prayer is certainly the highway to Christian victory. It is God’s way of
developing a loving relationship with His people. However, it is also the
chosen vehicle to change the plans of Satan for your life, family,
community, church, city and country. Isaiah shows there must be a time of
waiting before God in prayer. In Isa. 40; 31, “But they that wait upon the
LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles;
they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.”.
The apostle Paul gives a plea to the church to pray. I Timothy 2:8 says,
“Men everywhere should pray.”. The apostle James tells us the potentials
of powerful prayer in Jas. 5:16. There is no limit to the power of the prayers
of the righteous. The early church started with patient prayer in Acts 1: 3.
They prayed for ten days. This was Christ’s command, Lk. 24:49, “And,
behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city
of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high.”.

We See the Experience of Prevailing Prayer

Christians should always be in the attitude of prayer. However, we see in
Matt. 6:5-8, “And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites
are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of
the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, they have
their reward. But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when
thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father
which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly. But when ye pray, use not
vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard
for their much speaking. Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father
knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.”.
A call to personal prayer is secret prayer and is the miracle of the Christian
life. When we come to worship, Jesus should be our focus. If every part of
the organization of the church is not Christ centered, we would do well to
discontinue its activity. Every brick, block, nail, song, prayer, and program
should be the means of worshiping Christ and winning others to Him.

Prayer Brings Revelations

Twenty-five centuries ago, Daniel despaired when He and his countrymen
were deported to a foreign land after Judah was conquered. Daniel was
captured by an egocentric tyrant and surrounded by idolaters, but he never
gave up. He knew that his fate did not lie in the hands of his circumstances
but in his faith in God.
King Nebuchadnezzar changed the names of Daniel and the young people
from Judah because he wanted to make them Babylonians. This move was
to help assimilate them into a new pagan culture. For instance, Daniel
means, ”God is my judge” in Hebrew. His name was changed to
Belteshazzar, which means, ”he who Bel favors”. Bel was the chief
Babylonian god. Hannaniah means, ”mercy of God”, his new name
Shadrach, means ”under the command of Aku” (the moon god). Mishael
means, ”who is like God”. His new name , Meshach means, who is like
Aku.” Azaniah means ”whom God helps”, his new name means Abedgno,
”one who serves Nebo (the fire god)”. By changing everything familiar to
these Hebrew people, the king wanted to change their religion from
Jehovah God to the Babylonia’s gods. However, Daniel and his friends
determined to serve the true God.

Daniel Prayed for his Nation

Daniel prayed to God for the return of his people to their own land. In
Daniel’s prayer for his nation, he confessed his own sins using the pronoun,
“Awe” throughout. Daniel knew how to pray. As he prayed, he fasted and
confessed his sins, in Dan. 9:3-19. In Verses 9: 11-13, he mentioned the
blessings and curses shown in Deut. 28. God had given the people a choice
of obedience to blessings or disobedience to the curses. The purpose for
their affliction was to turn the people back to God.
When Daniel prayed, he asked for God mercy, but not for His help. He
knew that God’s people had done wrong and they deserved punishment.
While Daniel prayed and fasted, a war was going on in the heavenlies. In
Verses 10: 5, 6, a heavenly being appeared to Daniel, “Behold a certain
man clothed in linen, whose loins were girded with fine gold of Uphaz. His
body also was like the beryl lightning, and his eyes as lamps of fire, and
his arms and his feet like in color to polished brass, and the voice of his
words like the voice of a multitude.”.

Ministering Spirits
The book of Hebrews tells us that God’s angels are all ministering spirits
sent forth to minister to those who will be heirs of salvation.
Daniel alone saw the vision of the angel, but the men that were with him,
though they did not see the angel, were possessed of great trembling, so
that they fled to hide themselves, (Verse 8). Daniel was left weak although
this was an angel of low rank, a lieutenant in the forces of God. When a
major angel of the forces of Satan stopped Daniel, he could not go on with
his mighty ministry until God sent a ministering angel to his aid. In Verse
10:13, Daniel caught a glimpse of a supernatural battle between good and
evil. The angel had to fight against the Satanic Prince of Persia and the
Satanic Prince of Greece. The demonic powers had tried to stop the answer
of Daniel’s prayer from getting through. This supernatural battle proves
that even though the devils tried to stop his prayer, angels were warring
to bring the answer. Daniel’s weapons were repentance, fasting, faith and
prayers.

The Godly Prime Minister in a Pagan Country

Daniel became one of King Nebuchadnezzar’s most trusted advisors. This
important promotion angered the other administrators. In jealousy they
convinced the King to make a law that outlawed prayer to any other god
other than the Babylonian image that the King had made for them worship.
Daniel disobeyed this law and continued to pray in front of his window
daily to his sovereign Lord. As a result, he was condemned to a Lions’ den
where God shut the mouths of the hungry lions.

Can Christians War and Win?

This is the question. Can Christians war and win against the powers of
darkness through the authority that Jesus Christ gives to His Church? Can
we take authority and bind these powers just as we do when we deliver the
oppressed from evil spirits? Is territorial warfare a place where intercessors
should tread?
Before a Christian can go into the depths of intercessory prayer, he or she
should be trained. Indeed we fight in a war, which is already won. It was
won when Jesus burst from a sealed tomb! The battle is the Lord’s. Jesus
said, ”I saw Satan fall like lightening from Heaven.” (Lk. 10:16). However,
our warfare with the powers of darkness is still very real. The apostles said
in Eph. 6, “pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and
requests.”. With this in mind, be alert! Keep on praying for all the saints.

Apostle Paul was a Front Line Warrior

He was ever mindful of his need for the intercessors of the church to pray
for him. He pleaded with them to, “Pray also for me, that whenever I open
my mouth, words may be given me so that I will fearlessly make known
the mystery of the gospel, for which I am an ambassador in chains. Pray
that I may declare it fearlessly, as I should.”.

A Simple Prayer
Heavenly Father, most glorious God, Father, Son and Holy Ghost we thank
You for the Rev. of thyself in this world and for the commission of Your
Church to proclaim the Gospel to every creature. I bow in worship and
praise You. I cover myself with the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ as my
protection. I surrender myself complete and unreservedly in every area of
my life to You. I stand against all the work of Satan which would hinder
me in my prayer life.
Holy Father, I come to You as Your child, born again, redeemed and
washed in the blood of Jesus. I praise You for sending Your Son that has
redeemed me from the curse of the law having been made a curse for me
at Calvary. I give you thanks Father for transforming me into the image of
your Son by delivering me from the kingdom of darkness into the Kingdom
of God.
I address myself only to the true and living God and refuse any involvement
with Satan in my prayer. Satan I command you, in the name of the Lord
Jesus Christ to depart from with all your demons.
I bring the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ between us. I resist every effort
of Satan and his wicked spirits to confuse and block me from the will of
God. I choose to be transformed by the renewing of my mind. I pull down
all strongholds of Satan in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.
I thank You O God, for all who have been called to the Church to her task
of evangelizing the world.
I Thank You O God, for the innumerable company who now praise Your
name out of every kindred and nation and tongue.
I thank you for transforming my mind and I pull down all stronghold of
Satan over my family and myself. I come to You as my Deliverer. You
know all my problems (name them) all the things that bind, torment,
corruption and harass me. I now loose myself from every dark spirit, every
evil influence and bind myself to the heart of God. I command every satanic
bondage and from every spirit in me which is not a spirit of God to be
bound. I command all such spirits to leave me now in the name of Jesus
Christ.
Raise your hands and begin praising and filling yourself with His Holy
Presence. I give You glory O God, Alleluia. Amen.

Saints Must Pray for their Pastor!

I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and
giving of things, be made for all men; for the King and for all that are in
authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and
honesty.” (I Tim. 2:1, 2).
Father, in the name of Jesus, we pray and confess that the Spirit of the Lord
will rest upon (name the pastor); the spirit of Wisdom and Understanding,
the spirit of Counsel and Might, and the spirit of knowledge.
We pray that as Your Holy Spirits upon (Pastor) it will make him (her) of
quick understanding because You, Lord, have anointed and qualified him
(her) to preach the Gospel.
You have sent (pastor) to bind up and heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim
liberty to the physical and spiritual captives and the opening of the eyes
and of the prison for those who are bound. The pastor will be called the
priest of the Lord; people will speak of him (her) as a minister of God and
he (she) will eat the wealth of the nations and the glory will be the Lord’s.
We pray and believe that no weapon that is formed against (the pastor) will
prosper and that any tongue that rises against him (her) in judgment will be
shown to be in the wrong. We pray that You prosper (pastor) abundantly
Lord, spiritually, physically and financially.
We confess that (the pastor) holds fast and follow that pattern of wholesome
and sound teaching, in all faith and love in Christ Jesus. We pray that (The
pastor) lovingly guards and keeps the Truth, which has been entrusted, to
him (her) by the Holy Spirit.
Lord, we pray that each day freedom of utterance will be given (Pastor);
that he (she) will speak boldly and courageously. Thank You for the extra
strength that You have given him (her).
We hereby confess that we will stand behind (Pastor) and under gird him
(her) in prayer. We will say only those good things, which will edify
(pastor). We will not allow ourselves to judge him but will continue to
intercede for him (her) and speak and pray blessings upon him (her) in the
name of Jesus. Thank You, Jesus, for the answers.
 Part Eight
Knowing the Will of God
In February 1862, President Lincoln’s son Willie died, and his son Tad
became seriously ill. A Christian nurse attending the sick child recalled that
the President watched by his bedside and often paced, saying, “This is the
hardest trial of my life. Why is it? Why is it? She told him that she was
a widow and that her husband and two children were in heaven. She saw
the hand of God in it all and never loved Him so much as she did after her
great trials. “How is that brought about?” inquired Lincoln.” “Simply by
trusting in God and know that He does all things well,” she replied. “Did
you submit fully under the first loss?”, he asked. “No.” she answered, “not
fully. But as blow came upon blowing, and all were taken, I could and did
submit.” Lincoln replied, “I’m glad to hear you say that . . . I will try to go
to God with my sorrows.”. And a few days, she asked him if he could trust
God. He replied, I think I can. I will try. I wish I had that childlike faith
you speak of, and I trust. He will give it to me.”.

God’s Will
The power of faith is not faith out of a man’s heart. Faith is not a naked
power but the supernatural work of the redeeming work of the blood of
Jesus. True faith is pure holiness in the heart of the Christian to believe to
trust God. True faith is rooted in God’s grace, which is God’s unmerited
favor. It is totally never steps outside the perimeter of the Word of God.
God alone is the source of faith that moves mountains.

Strong Faith
Strong faith in God does not come all at once. It is often gained through
willing submission to His love and goodness in the midst of trial. “And I
arose in the night, I and some few men with me; neither told I any man
what my God had put in my heart to do at Jerusalem: neither was there any
beast with me, save the beast that I rode upon.” (Neh. 2:12). The faith of the
Christians at Thessalonica was growing through affliction and persecution.
We may not always see His purposes, but we must hold fast to His
goodness. The time will come when we’ll be able to say that we never
loved Him as much as we have since been afflicted. “Delight thyself also
in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.” (Psa. 37:4).
“For this cause we also, since the day we heard of it, do not cease to pray
for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of His will
in all wisdom and spiritual understanding.” (Col. 1:9). God’s will for our
lives is to know about Jesus Christ and His gifts of power to the believer.
Col. 1:16, tells us that everything in the universe, including the angels,
was created by Christ and for Christ.
We are to go to prayer with praise on our lips, not a complaint above the
apparent power of the adversary. Read carefully this mind-blowing
Scripture: “. . . to the intent that now the manifold wisdom of God might be
made known by the church to the principalities and powers in the heavenly
places.” (Eph. 3:10).

Satan’s Defeat
We are to proclaim that the apparent victory of Satan at the cross was a
really a defeat for him and his ruling (angels) spirits. The gospel is bad news
to demons and good news to human beings. The cross took away the devil’s
power of accusation. The cross was Satan’s most humiliating mistake. Dan.
7:14, speaks of Jesus’ final victory over all the earth’s cultures, “To Him
was given dominion and glory and a kingdom that all peoples, nations,
and languages should serve him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion,
which shall not pass away, and His kingdom the one which shall not be
destroyed.”.
There is no reason why we, the church should concede one square inch of
this planet to the government of territorial spirits.
This is our planet. Through Jesus we have regained our stewardship of
the earth. “. . . heaven, even the heavens, are the Lord’s; but the earth He
has given to the children of men.” (Psa. 115:16). “Behold, I give you the
authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of
the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurts you. Nevertheless do not
rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rather rejoice because
your names are written in heaven.” (Lk. 10:19).
Jesus shares his authority by giving men and women delegated power over
the enemy! (Satan and His demons). We have a commission to preach the
Word, walking in agreement with the power of Jesus Christ! His delegated
power to usward who believe.
In Eph. 1:6-15, “To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath
made us accepted in the beloved. In whom we have redemption through his
blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace; Wherein
he hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence; Having made
known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which
he hath purposed in himself: That in the dispensation of the fullness of
times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are
in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him: In whom also we have
obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of
him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will: That we
should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ. In whom
ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your
salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that
holy Spirit of promise, Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the
redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.
Wherefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and love
unto all the saints.”.

Jesus Seated at the Right Hand of God

Jesus has been raised and seated at the right hand of Father God. He is
ruling in power and distributing His power to the ones who believe. In Eph.
1:17-23, “That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may
give unto you the spirit of wisdom and Rev. in the knowledge of him: The
eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is
the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in
the saints, And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to usward who
believe, according to the working of his mighty power, Which he wrought
in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right
hand in the heavenly places, Far above all principality, and power, and
might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world,
but also in that which is to come: And hath put all things under his feet,
and gave him to be the head over all things to the church, Which is his
body, the fullness of him that filleth all in all.”. Thus the weakest, most
insignificant, most ignorant and fallible born again person has exactly the
same relationship to grace as does the most illustrious believer. They both
become born again children of God. Saints of God the very moment they
receive Lord Jesus Christ as Savior. In Jn. 2:9-10, “But I will sacrifice unto
thee with the voice of thanksgiving; I will pay that I have vowed. Salvation
is of the LORD. And the LORD spake unto the fish, and it vomited out
Jonah upon the dry land.”. In Eph. 2:8-9, “For by grace are ye saved through
faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any
man should boast.”. The definition of grace is simply, “God’s unmerited
favor toward man.”. The God of the stars in their courses shall fight for
me against the foes that hinder me as I climb upward toward the home of
God. In Jud. 5:19-20, “The King came and fought, then fought the King of
Canaan in Taanach by the waters of Megiddo; they took no gain of money.
They fought from heaven; the stars in their courses fought against Sisera.
The river of Kishon swept them away, that ancient river, the river Kishon.
O my soul, thou hast trodden down strength.”. In Jud. 5:31, “So let all thine
enemies perish, O LORD: but let them that love him be as the sun when he
goeth forth in his might. And the land had rest forty years.”. The Lord of
hosts is with us. . . .” He will command the whole universe for the making
of a soul.

Praying in the Will of God

O God, most merciful and gracious, by the might of Your Spirit lifts us to
Your presence, that we might receive mercy and grace. You know all the
sins that we have committed against You. We turn to You in repentance
that You may forgive us of our sin and all unrighteousness. Oh God deliver
me and make haste to help me. Or Lord. Let my enemies be confounded
and consumed that are the adversaries to my soul; let them be covered with
(reproach) and dishonor that seek my hurt. Your word says in Psa. 76:12,
“He shall cut off the spirit of princes: (he is) terrible to the King of the
earth.”. David said, “All nations compassed me about; but in the name of
the Lord will I destroy them. They compassed me about the like bees: They
are quenched as the fire of thorn: for in the name of the Lord I will destroy
them.” (Psa. 118:10,12). “Lord, you have promised me power to bind their
Kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron; to execute upon
them the judgment written: this honour have all his saints.” (Psa. 149: 8,9).
Thank You my God.
“In the name of Jesus I loose upon Satan, his headquarters, stronghold,
orders, plans, curses and demons, the curses of the Midianites (Jud. 7:22),
Ammonites, Moabites and Edomites (II Chron. 20). Let panic, frustration,
havoc, confusion, pandemonium, disasters, chaos, destruction upon each
other, the hornets of the Lord descends upon them.“.
“And I will send hornets before thee, which shall drive out the Hivite, the
Canaanite, and the Hittite, from before thee. I will not drive them out from
before thee in one year; lest the land become desolate, and the beast of the
field multiply against thee. By little and little I will drive them out from
before thee, until thou be increased, and inherit the land.” (Exod. 23:28-
30). “Moreover the LORD thy God will send the hornet among them, until
they that are left, and hide themselves from thee, be destroyed. Thou shalt
not be affrighted at them: for the LORD thy God is among you, a mighty
God and terrible.” (Deut. 7:20).
May the wrath, hatred, anger, terror, fear and finger of God according to
Lk. 11:20, the burning judgment and warring angels, spirits and the Word
of God prevents Satan’s orders from being carried out, that the perfect will
of God done.
We bind and cast out the demons in us and replace them with the spirits
of God and His Word. Especially we ask that the demonic strongmen or
rulers in our churches and us be replaced with agape love (Matt. 12:43-45
and Lk. 11:24-26); that all demonic doorkeepers are replaced with joy and
that we have peace in abundance.
We command Satan’s demons to fight against and destroy each other.
Specifically, we command all marriage and family hindering, delaying,
preventing, destroying and breaking demons to attack the spirits of Ahab
and Jezebel.
We command the spirits of riches and wealth by greed to attack the spirits
of lust for one world ruler ship, currency, and total control of the world
system, the spirits of anti-capitalism, rebellion against free enterprise, strike
and work stoppage to attack the spirits of poverty, hatred for believers, anti-
Americanism and human bondage.
We command the spirit of Zeus to be bound over the United Nations and the
spirits of war between the nations, destruction, hatred and anger attack the
spirits of political and spiritual blindness, rage, mockery, vengeance, evil
political science and influence, Illuminati, Communism and Secret
Government.
Father, we ask that You loosen burning, judgment and destruction upon
all disobedient and reluctant spirits that fail to follow these commands
promptly.
Teach us O Lord to put our trust in You and not to be afraid. Upon all fears
I loosen: perfect agape, true pure love; the love of God and our love for
each other (I Jn. 4:18); power, (II Tim. 1:7), sound mind and self-control
(Mic. 3:8).
We thank You for Your protection as shown in Psa. 91. In Jesus Name we
pray, Amen.
 Part Nine
We Can Pray Anywhere
Relationship with God
Christians do not have to be sitting in church or kneeling at an altar to talk
to God. Jonah prayed from a fish’s belly. Daniel prayed in his room (Dan.
6:10). And Jesus prayed on the cross (Lk. 23:34).
The doorway to prayer is always open. We can pray in school, on the job,
while driving (keeping our eyes open), beside a hospital bed, in a nursing
home, over an infant’s crib. What a comfort it is to know that as Christians
we can pray anywhere!
God has always promised to lead and guide His people. Our renewed spirit
is open to His Spirit, ”I have taught thee in the way of wisdom; I have led
thee in right paths. When thou goest, thy steps shall not be straitened; and
when thou runnest, thou shalt not stumble.” (Prov. 4:11-12).
After His ascension, Jesus sent the Holy Spirit to continually dwell with
His people to be their guide. “But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost,
whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and
bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto
you.” (Jn. 14:26). “Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will
guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he
shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.” (Jn.
16:13).
The most common illustration used throughout scripture to depict the
certainty of divine guidance is the Shepherd/Sheep relationship.
John 10: 1 says, “The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh
me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his
name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort
me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies:
thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and
mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house
of the LORD forever.” (Psa. 23).
“He shall feed his flock like a shepherd: he shall gather the lambs with his
arm, and carry them in his bosom, and shall gently lead those that are with
young.” (Isa. 40:11).
“My sheep wandered through all the mountains, and upon every high hill:
yea, my flock was scattered upon all the face of the earth, and none did
search or seek after them.” (Ezek. 34:6).
“But when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion on them,
because they fainted, and were scattered abroad, as sheep having no
shepherd.” (Matt. 9:36). “For ye were as sheep going astray; but are now
returned unto the Shepherd and Bishop of your souls.” (1 Pet. 2:25).

How Can we Know the Will of God?

By the written Word, “There is tremendous power in the Word of God. God
Himself has testified that His Word will accomplish what He pleases.” (Isa.
55:11).
“Send out thy light and thy truth: let them lead me; let them bring me unto
thy holy hill, and to thy tabernacles.” (Psa. 43:3).
“For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-
edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and
of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of
the heart.” (Hebr. 4:12).

There is Power in the Word!

When God illuminates the Word hearts are changed. God’s will by the Holy
Spirit is within us. “Teach me to do thy will; for thou art my God: thy spirit
is good; lead me into the land of uprightness.” (Psa. 143:10).
“But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send
in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your
remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.” (Jn. 14:26).
“Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all
truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that
shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.” (Jn. 16:13).
“And he arose and went: and, behold, a man of Ethiopia, an eunuch of great
authority under Candace queen of the Ethiopians, who had the charge of
all her treasure, and had come to Jerusalem for to worship, Was returning,
and sitting in his chariot read Esaias the prophet. Then the Spirit said unto
Philip, Go near, and join thyself to this chariot.” (Acts 8:27-29).
“And the spirit bade me go with them, nothing doubting. Moreover these
six brethren accompanied me, and we entered into the man's house.” (Acts
11:12).
“And so were the churches established in the faith, and increased in number
daily. Now when they had gone throughout Phrygia and the region of
Galatia, and were forbidden of the Holy Ghost to preach the word in
Asia.” (Acts 16:5-6).
“And now, behold, I go bound in the spirit unto Jerusalem, not knowing
the things that shall befall me there: Save that the Holy Ghost witnesseth
in every city, saying that bonds and afflictions abide me.” (Acts 20:22-23).

Spiritual Short-Circuit
“And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were
sealed.” (Eph. 3:30). The reasons that spiritual power that should be
produced in our lives by the Holy Spirits stops flowing. We must
investigate to see what has cut off the power. The apostle Paul showed us
what to look for. He said that lying, sinful anger, stealing, corrupt talk,
bitterness, wrath, fighting, slander, hatred, unkindness, and an unforgiving
attitude can block the power of the Holy Spirit in our lives. As we honor
not grieve The Spirit of God, His power will flow through us. That’s how
we can have the spiritual energy we need to live for God.
God’s Will Through Prayer
“And he said, O LORD God of my master Abraham, I pray thee, send me
good speed this day, and shew kindness unto my master Abraham. Behold,
I stand here by the well of water; and the daughters of the men of the city
come out to draw water: And let it come to pass, that the damsel to whom I
shall say, Let down thy pitcher, I pray thee, that I may drink; and she shall
say, Drink, and I will give thy camels drink also: let the same be she that
thou hast appointed for thy servant Isaac; and thereby shall I know that thou
hast shewed kindness unto my master.” (Gen. 24:12-14).
“Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we
should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us
with groanings which cannot be uttered. And he that searcheth the hearts
knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for
the saints according to the will of God.” (Rom. 8:26-27).
“For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for
you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in
all wisdom and spiritual understanding.” (Col. 1:9).
“If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men
liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. But let him ask
in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea
driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall
receive any thing of the Lord.” (Jas. 1:5-7).

God’s Will by Claiming His Promises

Claim Your Provision! “And my God shall supply all your need according
to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” (Phil. 4:19). Some quote this verse,
as if they were some sort of charm to be pulled out only in an emergency.

Wrong Prospective
We should use the promises of God’s Word each day to nourish and
strengthen us in every situation. To many Christians are just sitting on the
premises instead of standing on the promises.

A Simple Prayer
Almighty God, Father of all mercies. I bow in worship and praise before
You. I come before Your throne with love and thanksgiving in my heart.
I bless You for Your loving kindness. I bless You for Your creation,
preservation, and all the blessings of this life; but above all for Your
precious love in the redemption of the world by our Lord Jesus Christ, for
the means of grace, and for the hope of glory.
I surrender myself completely in every area of my life to You. I yearn for
Your presence and direction in my life. I want to be an intercessor in the
affairs of people. I yearn for Your will be done on earth as it is in Heaven.
I believe today, that Your anointing will come upon me as I study to write
this prayer manual. Open my spiritual heart, eyes and ears to understand
the deeper things of the Holy Spirit. I know that You will emblazon Your
information into my spiritual mind.
You have redeemed me from the kingdom of darkness, translating me into
the kingdom of Your dear Son. Without You, I can do nothing I am totally
dependent upon You and submit myself to You. I am now seated with You
in heavenly places.
I am protected by your precious blood and will use my spiritual weapons,
which are mighty through God, to tear down all strongholds of the enemy in
my life and in my family’s lives. I bind specifically the spirits of Antichrist,
rebellion, idolatry, spiritual deafness, and spiritual blindness doubt,
deception, unbelief, and confusion and mind control. I release my family
from these spirits. I claim Your Word according to Acts 2; 38, 39 over my
family. I thank You my God that You look over Your Word to perform it.
I believe that You will send warring angels to them to fight the demons for
their freedom. I thank You for sending workers into their fields.
As I pray, I am fully aware that I am being joined to the Great Intercessor,
my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Praise You Lord that according to Your
Word, I am sitting in heavenly places with Jesus. I am joined in agreement
with Him, to pray Your Will and Your Word. “Blessed be the God and
Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual
blessings in heavenly places in Christ.” (Eph. 1:3).
I give you praise, not only with my lips but in my life, by giving-up myself
to Your service and by walking before You in holiness and righteousness
all my days; through Jesus Christ my Lord, to Whom, with You and the
Holy Ghost, be all honor and glory, world without end.
Lord God, it is awesome to be a child of God. I pray that You will teach
me, not only how to pray, but also how to pray with power and dominion. I
know that Jesus Christ has already defeated Satan. “And hath raised us up
together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus.” (Eph.
2:6).
He has extended His authority and power to cause the powers of darkness to
be bound so that Your holy will is done in my life. I believe that I can stand
before Your throne of grace as an intercessor changing circumstances. The
Word of God tells me, “But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood,
an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of
him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.” (I Pet.
2:9).
“Teach me thy way, O Lord, and lead me in plain path, because of mine
enemies.” (Psa. 27:22).
My Father, my warfare is not against flesh and blood but You told me Your
Word, “to be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on
the whole armor of God that you may be able to stand against the wiles
of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against
principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age,
against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.” (Eph.
6:10:13).
I stand against all the works of Satan, which would try to hinder me in my
prayer life. Dear Father, enlarge my vision and prayer life. Through the
blood of Jesus, I am redeemed out of the hand of the devil. The blood of
Jesus, God’s Son is cleansing me from all sin. Through His blood, I am
justified, made righteous just as if I had never sinned. By His blood, I am
sanctified and made holy and set apart for God. My body is a temple for
the Holy Spirit and I belong to the Lord Jesus Christ. His blood protects
me from all evil. His blood denies Satan of all his power and Satan does
not have any power over me. I renounce him and his hosts completely and
declare them to be my enemies.
I cover myself with the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ as my protection.
I surrender myself completely and unreservedly in every area of my life
to You. I address myself only to the true and living God and refuse any
involvement with Satan in my prayer. Satan, I command you, in the name
of the Lord Jesus Christ, to depart from me with all your demons. I bring the
blood of the Lord Jesus Christ between us. I resist every effort of Satan and
his wicked spirits to confuse and block me from the will of God. I choose
to be transformed by the renewing of mind. I pull down all strongholds of
Satan in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ.
I loose myself from every evil spirit, every evil influence, every satanic
bondage, and from every spirit in me, which is not of God. I command all
such spirits to leave me now in the Name of Jesus.
You are my Battle axe. Fight against the demons that are engaged against
me. “Thou art my battle axe and weapons of war: for with thee will I break
in pieces the nations, and with thee will I destroy kingdoms; And with thee
will I break in pieces the horse and his rider; and with thee will I break in
pieces the chariot and his rider; With thee also will I break in pieces man
and woman; and with thee will I break in pieces old and young; and with
thee will I break in pieces the young man and the maid; I will also break in
pieces with thee the shepherd and his flock; and with thee will I break in
pieces the husbandman and his yoke of oxen; and with thee will I break in
pieces captains and rulers.” (Jer. 51:20-23).
According to Psa. 35:1-8, “Plead my cause, O LORD, with them that strive
with me: fight against them that fight against me. Take hold of shield and
buckler, and stand-up for my help. Draw out also the spear, and stop the
way against them that persecute me: say unto my soul, I am thy salvation.
Let them be confounded and put to shame that seek after my soul: let them
be turned back and brought to confusion that devise my hurt. Let them be
as chaff before the wind: and let the angel of the LORD chase them. For
without cause have they hid for me their net in a pit, which without cause
they have digged for my soul. Let destruction come upon him at unawares;
and let his net that he hath hid catch himself: into that very destruction let
him fall.”.
I hereby place the blood of Jesus on my doorposts. “And the blood shall be
to you for a token upon the houses where ye are: and when I see the blood,
I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you,
when I smite the land of Egypt.” (Exod. 12:1).
I draw the bloodline of Jesus around all my possessions and properties,
according to Josh. 2:18, “Behold, when we come into the land, thou shalt
bind this line of scarlet thread in the window which thou didst let us down
by: and thou shalt bring thy father, and thy mother, and thy brethren, and
all thy father's household, home unto thee.”.
I sprinkle according in Exod. 24:8, “And Moses took the blood, and
sprinkled it on the people, and said, Behold the blood of the covenant,
which the LORD hath made with you concerning all these words.”. Also
according to Exod. 29: 21, 30 , Lev. 1:5 and 4:6.
I place the blood of Jesus upon my family and myself. Thank You for saving
every living member that Your blessings come upon my family. “Then
Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name
of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the
Holy Ghost. For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that
are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.” (Acts 2:38-39).
Father, help my husband to assume his responsibility of establishing and
maintaining a Godly family. Teach him to be holy and to become bold in
spiritual warfare in an aggressive manner. It is absolutely essential if our
family is to function within You Will. ”And, ye fathers, provoke not your
children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the
Lord.” (Eph. 6:4).
“I claim every unbeliever, backslidden Christian in my family to be saved
according to Your Word.” (Acts 2:38, 39). I pray for my mother, father,
sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles and every living
relative. Lord, I bind the powers over their lives that keep them from You.
Let them have no pleasure in their sin lives and send the Holy Spirit to
them to convict and convince them of their sins and to reveal Jesus Christ
as their Savior and Lord, dispatch warring angels over their lives to war
against the evil spirits that have them bound. Send workers in their fields
to tell them the good news that Jesus Christ came to save them. Then Lord,
bestow upon them the promise of the Holy Spirit. Thank You for sending
angels to war the demons that are controlling their lives. “For he shall give
his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.” (Psa. 91:11).
I thank You Father for teaching me how to pray, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
 Part Ten
Spiritual Warfare of the Flesh
Anointing of the Holy Ghost
Jesus established His Church upon the rock of His blood sacrifice and the
anointing and powers of the Holy Ghost. He believed that His Church
should be able to wage a militant successful war against the powers of the
Devil. His church was given the absolute ability to conquer the powers of
darkness and win the souls that He had died for. He left His power for His
people to be victorious because we have the same anointing through the
Holy Ghost as Jesus did. Will you sleep during the greatest battle of the
end tie Church while millions are in the valley of decision?

Truth
The Bible tells us, "Ye shall know the truth and the truth shall make you
free." (Jn. 8: 32). The story of Ananias and Sapphira in Acts 5:1-11, is
a story of a possession or of a property that they sold and then gave the
proceeds to the apostles. The problem was that they lied about the amount
that was realized for its sale. They were in the flesh and not the spirit. The
consequences of their lie were catastrophic.
The apostle Peter said, “Whiles it remained, was it not thine own? and after
it was sold, was it not in thine own power [exousia authority]?” (Verse
4). In other words, when we become Christians God doesn't want to take
away everything from us. He has given us authority over the things that
we rightfully possess. He wants relationship with us, He doesn't want to
manipulate and dominate us. If He has us-our hearts, He has everything
we possess. Actually, He doesn't need anything; He possesses all things.
What He really wants is a relationship with us. That is why we were born.
However, the level of our relationship with the Lord will determine our
lifestyles and our attitudes toward possessions. What never ceases to amaze
one is the fact that as Christians, God gives us authority beyond our wildest
dreams.

Authority to Cast Out Demons

“And Jesus gave them power against unclean spirits to cast them out.”
(Matt. 10:1). Also, read (Mk. 3:15, 6:7 and 16:17) and (Lk. 9:1).
It is clear that each Christian possesses this authority. Therefore, when you
sense an attack of the devil on your body, your home, your relationships,
and your finances or in any other area, you have the right to exercise your
authority.

Either Hot or Cold

Jesus tells us that He detests Luke warmness in believers. If we understand
the word cold to mean hostility to the Gospel, we must conclude that Jesus
would rather see a person an antagonist than a half-hearted follower. Some
scholars suggest that Jesus was thinking about two springs located near the
Laodacea Sea, the hot mineral springs located at Hierpolis and the pure cold
water springs that were in Colosse. The hot springs were seen as possessing
healing powers. The cold, invigorating springs provided refreshment. The
Church at Laodicea brought neither healing to the spiritually ill nor
refreshment to the weary. They were lukewarm and therefore no help to
anyone. They were self-centered and living in the flesh. The problem with
an average Christian is that he is just an average Christian.

Son Powered
The warfare of the saints is not after the flesh. “For though we walk in the
flesh, we do not war after the flesh: For the weapons of our warfare are not
carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds.” (II
Cor. 10:3.4).

It is a Good Warfare
“This charge I commit unto thee, son Tim., according to the prophecies
which went before on thee, that thou by them mightest war a good warfare;
Holding faith, and a good conscience, which some having put away
concerning faith have made shipwreck.” (I Tim. 1:18 19).

The Apostle Paul Called it a Good Fight of Faith

“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities,
against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against
spiritual wickedness in high places.” (1 Tim. 6:12).

It is Against Satan
“Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his
devices.” (2 Cor. 2:11).
It is to be carried on under Jesus Christ, our commander.
“For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things,
in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation
perfect through sufferings.” (Hebr. 2:10). Under the Lord’s banner.
“Thou hast given a banner to them that fear thee, that it may be displayed
because of the truth. Selah.” (Psa. 60:4).

In Faith
“Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong.” (I Cor.
16:13). There are pit falls to avoid in strategic spiritual warfare warriors.
Warriors must be properly trained. Untrained warriors have no idea of the
power of God or the powers of the enemy. Trained warriors know the cost
and they are not ignorant of the wiles of Satan.
 Part Eleven

Spiritual Arrogance is Dangerous

Sometimes people forget Who (Jesus) is, causing the victories and take over
as a personal adversary of the Devil. Humility and dependence upon the
Lord are necessary for complete success. Lack of commitment to personal
prayer can cause disaster.

Empty Rhetoric
Spiritual warfare is taught from a scriptural basis. It can never be ritualistic.
It must come from a true relationship with God. It must also come from
a proper commitment to His cause. It must come from compassion for the
state of people’s soul. It must come from a desire to change the picture to
that of God’s will upon this earth.

God Desires Every Warrior to Have a Spiritual Covering

There are no lone rangers in the Body of Christ. Jesus established His
Church to change the world. God has appointed a Pastor over you for your
personal welfare. Submit your desire to him/her concerning your desire to
join God’s army of prayer warriors. Study to make thyself approved of
God. The Word of God brings the power to every battle.

Conquering the Fears of Life

“Do not be afraid. . . I am He who lives, and was dead, and behold, I am
alive forevermore.” (Rev. 1:17, 19).

Do Not be Afraid!
These words of our Savior have always met a vital human need. Jesus loves
you and has proved it by dying for you on the cross. He paid the penalty
for your sin. He has demonstrated His power by rising from the grave.

Trust Jesus
Give Him your anxieties. If you truly believe him, he’ll help you conquer
the fears of life. Satan knows how to use the spirit of fear to drive a novice
into doubt. Fear is the opposite of faith and devils enter through that open
door. Satan can and will bring problems upon the weak.
Spiritual understanding will set a warrior free. A true picture of the balance
of power shows the scales are leaning overwhelmingly in the direction of
the believer. People who do not know their God from the Scripture, will
not make strong warriors.

We Must See Satan as Defeated Foe

Jesus, angels, knowledge of the Bible acted upon, tip the scales to the
Christian’s victory. Jesus Christ has already defeated Satan. Do not
underestimate the enemy. Do not be ignorant of his devices. Keep yourself
close to God and your army of prayer believers.
Clean Living
Scripture shows how to clean-up our lives. “But if ye bite and devour one
another, take heed that ye be not consumed one of another. This I say then,
Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. For the flesh
lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are
contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.
But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law.” (Gal. 5:15-18).
”Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from
fleshly lusts, which war against the soul; Having your conversation honest
among the Gentiles: that, whereas they speak against you as evildoers, they
may by your good works, which they shall behold, glorify God in the day
of visitation.” (I Pet. 2:11, 12).
These texts place the capstone on our spiritual power. Let us examine what
happens if we fail to do our part. Reading Phil. 2:12, we see what God
expects us to do, “Wherefore, my beloved, ye have always obeyed not as
in my presence only, but how much more in my absence, work out your
own salvation with fear and trembling.”

Why Should we Fear and Tremble?

Is it because of a possibility of losing our salvation? Is it possible to lose
our “God consciousness, ”even as an unsanctified mind and lusts of our
body? We must control them, and we can through the power of God.
The purpose of this power is twofold. One purpose is to clean out the chaff
from our lives. The other is to be a witness to lost souls. This spiritual
power, man’s spirit has received, gives him the ability to dominate his soul
and body. All a man must do to win is to say no to appetites and lusts and
thoughts that are contrary to the Word of God. In doing this, he will be
the victor. The reason man must resist his own thoughts is shown in (Isa.
55:8). Man’s thoughts are contrary to God’s thoughts. “Avoid every kind
of evil.” (I Thess. 5:22).

A Prayer Example for the Readers of this Manual

This spiritual warfare prayer book is to teach you how to prepare for the
war and win the war. The Word tells us in II Corinthians 10:4 that our
weapons are not carnal but MIGHTY in God for pulling down strongholds.
And that's what we do with prayer. As much as this makes many Christians
uncomfortable, spiritual warfare is essential in our walk with God. The
truth is a spiritual realm does exist and in that realm there are demons that
want to destroy us and our loved ones. We can battle against the demonic
realm with God's Word and prayer. You can use the following prayer or
pray something the Lord gives you.[i]

A Warfare Prayer
“I cover and bind all demonic spirits and activities from my life, all watcher
and listener spirits, blockers and scramblers, principalities and powers,
rulers and dominions and all strongholds in the name of the Lord Jesus
Christ.” (Matt. 18:18, Eph. 6:12 and Esek. 28:7-8).
“I command all astral travelers to return to where they have come from,
knowing only that Jesus Christ is Lord of all.” (Lk. 10:19).
“I cut and negate all curses, voodoo, hexes, spells, magic, mantras, runes,
incantations, rituals, ceremonies, chanting, oaths, predictions (especially
those done using blood), psychic prayers, spoken words and thoughts,
written and enacted against me and my family. This includes curses on
relationships, of destruction and division, curses on health, of sickness and
death, curses on our minds, of depression, fear and suicide, and curses on
our finances of poverty, debt and robbing, in the name of the Lord Jesus
Christ.” (Isa. 54:17 and Isa. 17:12-14).
“I sever myself from the source of these curses, whether they are from
witchcraft, wizardry, voodoo, sorcery, New Age, Satanism, psychics,
chandlers, Muslim, Hindu, Buddhist prayers, ancestral, aboriginal and
freemasonry rituals, prayers from every other religious group or false
Christian prayers. Also I negate all negative words spoken against me or
against my family from any vow, oath or promise that has been made, in
the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.” (Deut. l8:9-13).
“I forgive all those who have come against me in this way and cut off ties
and connections to them. I grind these ties into dust and throw them into
the pit. I cover and bind all spirits that have come onto me through these
activities or in any other way. I remove their protection and negate their
assignments in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. I bind the powers of all
those coming against me, in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.” (Matt 5:44,
Matt 16:17-19, Luke 21:22).

For Protection
Lord, I claim Your promises. Your Word says: that You will fight for me
(Deut. 3:22), it will not be by might nor power but by Your Spirit (Zech.
4:6), because of my weakness You will become strong in me (Heb. 11:34),
that even the gates of Hades shall not prevail against me as part of Your
church (Matt. 16-18), that through You we shall do valiantly, because it is
You who treads down our enemies (Psa. 108: 13).
“Lord, I also ask You to send angels to do battle for me here on earth and
in the heavenlies against every source of wickedness.” (Heb. 1:14 and Psa.
103:20.).
“I ask you Father to cover and surround me and my family, properties,
cars, pets and material assets with the precious BLOOD of the Lord Jesus
Christ.” (Rev 12:11).
“I ask that the precious BLOOD of the Lord Jesus Christ will also cover my
body, soul and spirit as well as my mind, will, emotions and heart.” (Heb.
9:14.).
“I am complete in Him, redeemed, cleansed and sanctified by the precious
blood of the Lord Jesus Christ.” (III Jn. 1:7). “Therefore the devil has no
place in me and no power over me.” (Rom 16:20).
“I ask You, Heavenly Father, to place Your hedge of protection around
about me.” (Job 1:10). “Please hide me under the shadow of Your wings
and surround me as with a shield and hold me in Your righteous right
hand.” (Psa. 91:4, Psa. 5:12 and Psa. 108:6) [ii]
 Part Twelve
Training for Warfare
Seeking God
“Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall
be opened unto you: for everyone that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh
findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. Or what man is there
of you, whom if his son asks bread, will he give him a stone? Or if he asks
a fish, will he give him a serpent? If ye then, being evil, know how to give
good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is
in heaven give good things to them that ask him?” (Matt. 7:7-11).

The Source of Power is God Himself

“God has spoken once; twice have I heard this that power belongeth unto
God.” (Psa. 62:11). This spiritual authority can change Satan’s plans as no
other power can. “And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all
principality and power: In whom also ye are circumcised with the
circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the
flesh by the circumcision of Christ: buried with him in baptism, wherein
also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who
hath raised him from the dead. And you, being dead in your sins and the
uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having
forgiven you all trespasses; blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that
was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing
it to his cross; and having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew
of them openly, triumphing over them in it.” (Col. 2:10-15).

Christian Warriors Must be Trained to Fight in Spiritual Warfare

Prayer
“Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from
you.” (Jam. 4:7-10: Verse 7).
Before you can war successfully against the powers of the devil, you must
be submitted, and walking in a right relationship with God. “Draw nigh to
God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and
purify your hearts, ye double minded.” (Verse 8). A prayer warrior must
be very close to God.

Sanctified and Holy Living is Required

Your prayer life must be centered on the point of attack. You cannot deviate
from your target if you do not receive the victory instantly.

Fighting Demons
Some Spirits are stubborn and will test your faith to see if you really believe
your authority.
“Thus saith the LORD, the Holy One of Israel, and his Maker, Ask me of
things to come concerning my sons, and concerning the work of my hands
command ye me. I have made the earth, and created man upon it: I, even my
hands, have stretched out the heavens, and all their host have I commanded.
I have raised him up in righteousness, and I will direct all his ways: he shall
build my city, and he shall let go my captives, not for price nor reward,
saith the LORD of hosts.” (Isa. 45:11-13).
“Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to
“mourning, and your joy to heaviness.” (Verse 9).
A prayer warrior must have strong feelings about the injustices that are
brought about by the powers of evil.
They become emotionally and spiritually involved. It’s looking at
situations and being able to discern the differences between good and evil.
Also facing the fact that someone has to get involved in prayer to change it.
“Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.” (Jam.
4:10). Humility is simply believing God’s Word.

He Can Do Above All that you can Think of (Eph. 3:20)

All things are possible if you can believe Him. Before and after His
resurrection, Jesus unleashed spiritual power and even nature obeyed his
will.

Jesus Commanded by the Word

He spoke the word and water was made into wine. He blessed the bread and
the fishes and they were multiplied. He spoke the word to dead Lazarus and
he came out of the grave. Jesus commanded demons to leave a writhing
victim alone and to come out of him. The person was loosed that same
hour. These and many other works show spiritual power in action. Jesus
said that if we would believe, we could even say to a mountain, “Be thou
removed and cast into the sea.” and it would be done. Jesus came to save
us and teach us how to defeat the powers of the devil.

We Defeat Satan the Same Way He Did

We speak to the problem, using His name and His delegated authority. We
imitate His ministry.
“For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-
edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and
of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of
the heart.” (Hebr. 4:12). Jesus used the Word of God when He needed the
Power of God. We use the Word of God to tap into the power of God!

Jesus Was a Doer of the Word

“Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and
receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls.
But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers’ only, deceiving your own
selves. For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto
a man beholding his natural face in a glass: For he beholdeth himself, and
goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was.
But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein,
he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be
blessed in his deed.” (Jam. 1:21-25).

Intercession and Warfare Prayer

Father, through the name of Jesus and His Holy blood, I am redeemed out
the hand of the devil. My body is a temple for the Holy Spirit. His blood
protects me from all evil. Satan has no power over me and no place in me. I
renounce Him and his hosts complete and declare them to be my enemies.
Jesus said, “And these signs shall follow them that believe: In my Name
shall they cast out devils.” (Mk. 16:17).
In the name of Jesus Christ, I bind the rulers, strongmen, doorkeepers and
all connected, related and resulting demons of witchcraft, Satan worship,
human and animal sacrifice, black magic, witchcraft control, mind control,
mind occult and the occult of, over, in the working in and through the world,
the United States, each State, county, city, township, suburb, street,
neighborhood, block, home and church.
“Upon all Satan’s children partaking of and planning these wicked and evil
practices, I loose in the name of Jesus, spirits of confusion, forgetfulness,
destruction. I also bless them who are trying to destroy us by releasing
salivation, adoption as children of God.” (Rom. 8:15). Deliverance and I
pray that the Holy Spirit will go them and arrest them and convince them
that Jesus Christ is Lord. Father, I ask You to send Your Holy Angels to
war against the demons that have them bound.
In the name of Jesus, I cut Satan, His demons and curses loose from me, my
family and friends. I command you Satan, and all evil spirit and curses to
loose me and my family and all the things you have stolen from us (happy
marriage, finances, jobs, families, ministries).
I command you to stop robbing us of blessings and blocking God’s perfect
will for our lives. I command you to loosen all natural resources, land,
animals, money, the finances of people who owe us money, and all the
things that you have stolen from us that are ours through the blessings of
Jesus. I ask you, Lord, to send Your angels to bring these things back to
us in Jesus name.
I praise You and worship You my Lord God. Lift your hands and praise
His Holy name! Amen.
 Part Thirteen
Warfare Believer’s Authority
Christ Our Savior
“But after that the kindness and love of God our Savior toward man
appeared, Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but
according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and
renewing of the Holy Ghost. Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus
Christ our Savior.” (Tit. 3:4-6).
The Church of Jesus Christ has to be the difference in every community.
Jesus’ Saints are His instruments on this earth because He is sitting at the
right hand of God waiting and willing to give the power to win every
spiritual warfare.

He Gives a Spiritual Armor and Weapons

Our weapons are prayer, using His name, His blood, His Word and His
power.
Paul shows this transference of His in power to usward who believe in Eph.
1:19-22, “And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to usward who
believe, according to the working of his mighty power, which he wrought in
Christ, when he raised him from the dead and set him at His own right hand
in the heavenly places. Far above all principality and power and might, and
dominion, and every that is named not only in this world, but also in that
which is to come: And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be
the head over all things to the church.”. The problem is some Saints never
understand their position in Jesus Christ.

Grace by Jesus Christ

It becomes ours by faith in His redemption sacrifice. The law extended
blessing to the good. But grace extends salvation to the bad. The Bible
teaches grace as being of God, through God, all of God, the gift of God to
an undeserving world, and God’s grace is all sufficient.

The believer is in Christ, and we are Complete in Him

“And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and
power,” (Col 2:10). “Therefore all things are ours, for we are Christ and
Christ is God’s, (I Cor. 3:2-23). “Blessed be the God and Father of our
Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in
heavenly places in Christ. . .” (Eph. 1:3). Here is set forth the totality of
God’s bestowment in Jesus.

All Spiritual Blessings are Found in the Lord Jesus

All spiritual blessing come to us through the Lord Jesus that leaves man out
of it! Jesus was the only man who ever completely pleased God, and the
only way you and I can please God is through His Son. "I am the way.” (Jn.
14:6). “I am the Door.” (Jn. 19:9).
“Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” (Rom.
10:13). “Neither is there salvation in any other; for there is none other name
under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.” In Acts 4:12,
“He is our salvation, our victory our sanctification, our redemption, and
in Him we find rewards for our labors.” “All of our righteousness is like
filthy rags-therefore Christ the Righteous One becomes our righteousness,
Inc. whom we have redemption Though His blood, the forgiveness of sins,
according to the riches of His graces; wherein He hath abounded inwards
us in all wisdom and prejudice.” (Eph. 1:7,8).
“We are saved by His marvelous grace.” (Eph. 2:8). “We are led by His
precious Sprit.” (Rom. 8:14). “We are sealed by His Spirit until the day of
redemption.” (Eph. 4:30). “We are kept by His wonderful power.” (Rom.
8:38, 39 and I Pet. 1:5). “We are saved because of God’s love. It is vital to
believe the Gospel and the entirety it teaches for believers.” (2Tim. 3:16-
17).
 Part Fourteen
Inspired by God
Faith in God’s Word
In II Timothy 3:16, “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is
profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in
righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished
unto all good works.”.

Repentance and Renunciation of All Sin is Another Requirement

“To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the
power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and
inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.” (Acts
26:18).
“Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord,
and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, And will be a Father
unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord
Almighty.” (II Cor. 6:17-18).

Obedience to the Gospel Seeking for Power

“If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children:
how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them
that ask him?” (Lk. 11:13).
“And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in
the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high.” (Lk.
24:49). Also see (Acts 1:4-15, 2:38-39 and 5:32).

Surrender to God, Walk and Live in the Spirit

“Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, separated unto the
gospel of God by the will of God to come unto you.” (Rom. 8: 10).
“Now I would not have you ignorant, brethren, that oftentimes I purposed
to come unto you, (but was let hitherto) that I might have some fruit among
you also, even as among other Gentiles. I am debtor both to the Greeks, and
to the Barbarians; both to the wise, and to the unwise. So, as much as in
me is, I am ready to preach the gospel to you that are at Rome also.” (Rom.
13-16) and (Gal. 5:16-26).
“Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and
admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing
with grace in your hearts to the Lord.” (Col. 3: 6, 17).

Believers Must Learn to Pray in Faith

“If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men
liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. But let him ask
in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea
driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall
receive any thing of the Lord. A double minded man is unstable in all his
ways.” (Jam. 1:5-8).
“But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God
must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently
seek him.” (Hebr. 11:6).

Believers Must Accept God’s Call as Representatives of God

“But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you:
and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and
in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.” (Acts 1:8).

And they Must Know their Position in Christ

They have to learn to use the name of Jesus in accordance with the Word of
God. “And his name through faith in his name hath made this man strong,
whom ye see and know: yea, the faith which is by him hath given him this
perfect soundness in the presence of you all.” (Acts 3:16, :4:12 and Acts
3:16).
“Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I
do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go
unto my Father. And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do,
that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask any thing in my
name, I will do it. If ye love me, keep my commandments.” (Jn. 14:12-15).
“At that day ye shall ask in my name: and I say not unto you, that I will
pray the Father for you: For the Father himself loveth you, because ye have
loved me, and have believed that I came out from God.” (16:23-26).
Paul shows the power relationship between the believer and Jesus’ exalted
position of authority, in Eph. 1:17-23. “That the God of our Lord Jesus
Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and
Revelation in the knowledge of him.” (Verse 17).

Wisdom, Revelation and Knowledge of Jesus

You must see Jesus from the Father’s point of view. Jesus has already won
the battle against Satan! He has authority to give you that same power!
Seeing His exalted position gives you a picture of Satan’s defeat!
“The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what
is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance
in the saints.” (Verse 19). Knowing the hope of his calling is achieving
the ability to overcome every dart of the enemy. You can walk in your
inheritance!
 Part Fifteen
The Power of Jesus Christ
“And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe,
according to the working of his mighty power.” (Verse 19). The Exceeding
greatness of His power . . . His power is sovereign! “And hath raised us up
together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus.” (Eph.
2:6).

His Power is Sovereign and He Shares it with Us!

Our position is from the vantage point “…of sitting with Him in Heavenly
places.” (Eph.2:6). He is our Battle-axe. Jeremiah 51:20 "You are my war
club, my weapon for battle …:”.

Sovereignty of God
“A theological term, which refers to the unlimited power of God, who has
sovereign control over the affairs of nature and history.” (Isa. 45:9-19 and
Rom. 8:18-39).
The Bible declares that God is working out His sovereign plan of
redemption for the world and that the conclusion is certain. Immediately
after the Fall He talked about the curse of human sin and specified the cure
for man's sin. To the serpent He said, "I will put enmity between you and
the woman, and between your seed and her seed; He shall bruise your head,
and you shall bruise His heel." (Gen. 3:15).
The whole redemptive story of the Bible is the fulfillment of this prophecy
by the sovereign God, as Paul clearly teaches in Rom. 8-11. The story of
redemption from Genesis to Revelation is possible only because the
sovereign God loves the created world, fallen though it is, and is able to
do something about it. Without the sovereign love of the Father ministered
to us through the Son and the Holy Spirit, there would be no really human
freedom and no hope of everlasting life.

God Omnipotence, Omnipresence, Omniscience

We are already sitting in heavenly place with our Lord. “Which he wrought
in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right
hand in the heavenly places.” (Verse 20).
We sit with Him in heavenly places when we war against powers and
principalities!
In Eph. 2:6-7, “And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together
in heavenly places in Christ Jesus: that in the ages to come he might shew
the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ
Jesus.” (Verse 6, 9). We fight our spiritual warfare prayers from this
advantage.
When you understand that Jesus delegates His power to you and then gives
you the advantage of sitting with Him in heavenly places, you will win!
He is Truly Captain of our Army
“Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every
name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:
and hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all
things to the church, which is his body, the fullness of him that filleth all
in all.” (Eph. 21, 22 and 23).
HIS NAME IS ABOVE ALL!
HIS POWER IS ABOVE ALL!
HIS LOVE IS ABOVE ALL!
In the beginning, God spoke the word, and the universe came into
existence! At, and after the resurrection, Jesus displayed the power of
appearing and disappearing and the power to rise unaided at His ascension.
Part Sixteen
 Power From God After Salvation
Son of God
When a sinner comes to Christ, he receives power to become a son of God.
After salvation, we can receive extra power from God.

The Lamb of God

Lord Jesus, You are the Lamb of God that takes away the sin of the world.
You died for my sins according to the Scriptures. In You I have redemption
through Your blood, the forgiveness of sin. Worthy are You, the Lamb that
was slain, to receive power and riches and wisdom and might and honor
and glory and blessing . . . To Him Who sits on the throne, and to You, the
Lamb, the blessing and honor and glory and dominion forever and ever.”
See (Jn. 1:29, I Cor. 15:3, Col. 1:14 and Rev. 5:12, 13).

Power of the Holy Ghost

Acts 1:8 and 2:38 describes this extra endowment of power as the Baptism
of the Holy Ghost. People have the ability to influence others by the
spiritual anointing that they walk under. “In David’s case, this is seen in
his relationship with Jonathan.” (I Sam. 18:1-4).
Then looking at Ahab’s marriage to a witch, Jezebel, which is shown in (I
Kin. 16:31), reveals her evil influence was more powerful over Ahab than
his religious experiences were able to persuade Jezebel.
Both of these examples show spiritual results, good or evil. Jezebel’s
influence caused and an entire nation to cease worship of the true God.
Witchcraft held the people under a diabolical bondage while the prophets
who were not killed hid in terror of their lives. Only the power of God can
transfer people from the enslavements of the demonic hordes of evil spirits.

The Bible Warns us to be Very Careful in our Choice of Spiritual

Experiences
The segregation of ourselves from receiving unscriptural false teaching will
protect us. By separation, we are shielded from receiving the evil spirits are
motivating the false prophet or false teacher, from entering into our spirit.
In John. 4:3, “Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether
they are of God, because many false prophets are gone out into the world.
Hereby know ye the Spirit of God. Every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus
Christ is come in the flesh is not of God; and this is that spirit of Antichrist,
whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in
the world. They are of the world; therefore, speak they of the world, and
the world heareth them.”.

Guard your Mind

You must guard your words and then words that spoken through others
have power to transfer evil spirits. This is why you should carefully watch
what you hear. If you allow yourself to listen to a minister that mixes the
Word of God with anything, you will become cold and hard of hearing the
word. Also, evil spirits can be transferred through the laying on of hands.
Christians Going to Worldly Places
Our evangelistic team was in the islands and the pastor took us to a healing
mineral bath on a mountainside. Man who was a member of a strong
religious cult owned the baths and all the employees were also members.
They were massaging and washing the people (laying on of hands) and
afterward offering them free local drinks (potions-which are ritualistically
fashioned). When leaving the baths, the priest of the cult met us at the
bottom of the hill to witness to us about their false god.
We noticed that one of the occultists took each person’s hand and placed a
ritualistic mark on them. The local Christians that took us to this place did
not seem to understand the spiritual significance of being on pagan grounds
and its spiritual blinding oppressive forces.
When our group got back on the bus, we took authority and bound the
powers of the occult that had been released over us by the cult. This place
was an easy way for the devils to transfer evil spirits. Most Christians do
not think in terms of spiritual results this possibility.
After we left this place, we went to a Christian Church to minister. I
preached a message on witchcraft territorial taking spirits and how to bind
territorial spirits. One of the members of our group had asked the Lord to
show him what was holding the people in such darkness. He looked up and
saw a cloud separate, appearing suddenly was a large black dragon. There
was a black crow that was walking back and forth upon the head of the
black dragon. The Lord revealed to me that the black dragon represented
Satan’s dark Principality and the crow represented the Ruler spirit of black
witchcraft. The crow was looking for those who could be drawn into the
powers of witchcraft.
I asked the church to stand and pray in corporate prayer against these
principalities and powers that were controlling the people on the island. We
cut these evil powers’ communication lines from the people on the island.
Jesus began to heal everyone in the church and then the large group who
was outside the church mocking, suddenly ran into the church and asked
to be saved and healed!

General Confession and Prayer

“O God, Whose mercies cannot be numbered, we raise to You our grateful
praise. For the glory of the sunset, for shelter and raiment and daily bread,
for work that gains livelihood and the sense of belonging, for the blessings
of family life and for good neighbors and friends, we give thanks. Search
me, O God and know my heart: Try me and know my thoughts. See if
there is any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.” (Psa.
139:23).
In Your presence, before Your throne of grace, we are ready to do spiritual
warfare against the powers of darkness. We began this battle, sitting in
heavenly places with our Lord Jesus Christ. Every advantage of warfare

Heavenly Father, the Indians that lived along the St. Johns River in
Jacksonville, Florida were very supernatural in their order of worship of
evil spirits. They worshiped the water gods and the goddess of nature and
also worshiped a tree called the Cosmic Tree. When Christians arrived in
this territory, the Indians sacrificed a Christian every week. They claimed
these areas and proclaimed that the Christians would never take this
territory.
We take authority over the controlling demons in this domain and bind
these sacrifices of the blood of the innocent Christians. We arrest the
powers of the principalities over this entire territory and release the power
of Jesus Christ and His Church to take dominion over this land. We cover
the atmosphere, sea and land of this region with the blood of Jesus Christ.
We believe You Father to send the Holy Ghost to convince the people of
sin. You said in the Bible that it is Your desire that none perish. Let the
people have no pleasure in their rebellion. Father, we pray that You will
release warring angels to battle for this region. Grant to us workers’ in this
field to take the message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the lost. Grant
us a harvest dear Lord. Please send us revival fires. We want to see Your
Divine Glory.
Father, our country is floundering in rebellion, darkness and sin. Our
leaders have lost their way. Sexual perversion and witchcraft are
controlling our leaders from the top of our government to the local
principalities. Our Christian foundations of this nation are gone. The
remnants of Christian leaders are mocked and family values eroded and
ridiculed. Many in authority hold homosexuality and abortion to a high
standard. Our President is entrapped in scandalous behavior. Every
ungodly thing prevails. The highest leaders are moving the New Age
religion. Our young people are going into captivity by the powers of
witchcraft, heavy metal rock music, occult driven movies, sex perversions,
hate, murder, lying, violence and bewitchments. We take our places as
intercessors and stand against the powers of darkness.
We lift each believer in our country beyond denomination barriers,
doctrinal differences, and petty grievances in order that we may be come as
our Lord prayed, “as one” (Jn. 27:11). Impart to the Church the truth Paul
taught “Christ is not divided” (I Cor. 1:13), and that a house divided cannot
stand.”. Make us aware that prayer is indeed the common denominator of
all the Church. Bring the truth of a Christ centered unity to Your Body
(Believers) and bring about the power of the Holy Spirit upon Your
Church.
Father brings Your “great commission” back into focus and to the forefront
of preaching. In many instances, the sanitized scriptures are being taught,
such as, the bloodless, Gospel and preaching without Christ at the center
of the messages have inoculated the people of our churches with religion
forms without God’s power. Our land is being paganized and our leaders’
eyes are blinded. Give us a breakthrough, O God. Grant new anointing to
our pulpits to preach the great issues of life. The message is still that humans
must know, “The wages of sin is death, the judgments of God are in earth,
the souls all around are perishing, that the calling of the preacher is to stand
between the living and the dead, that Christ alone is salvation.”. Break up
the fallow grounds of your people and flood Your living water upon our
dry grounds. We are thirsty Father, make passageways in our wilderness
for springs in our dessert places. Pour out the spirit of intercession and
sanctification upon all Ministers, Pastors, Evangelists, Teachers,
Musicians, Singers that they may cry night and day before Your throne,
“Spare thy people, O Lord, and give not thine heritage to reproach.” (Joel
2:17).
Father, we pray for our country, The President, Vice President, the
Administration, Senate, Congress, Supreme Court Justices, all State
Governors, Legislators, Judges, Mayors and every worker in our
government and their families. Provide for President of the United States,
a special shield of divine protection. Grant every elected and appointed
official of our nation, a desire to execute justice, a repugnance for evil,
and an aversion to deceit. Make their hearts to cry out for truth and equity,
in order that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and
honesty. You told us to pray for the leaders of our government so that we
can live in peace. We pray for the salvation of these people. Father’s We
thank you for your grace and we ask that. You send the Holy Spirit to
convict these people that we have prayer for today that Jesus Christ is
Savior and Lord. Reveal to them His divine sacrificial work upon the
cross.
Satan, we speak to you directly, binding your powers over our country,
states, and cities. We command the strongman of Satan, principalities, the
powers, the rulers of the darkness, the wicked Spirits in high places and all
the demonic spirits of the air, earth and seas to be bound in the Name of
Jesus. We bind all your Satanic, witchcraft powers over our country. We
command every spirit of curses, hexes, and spells, blood sacrifices to be
bound. Every spirit that has been sent to destroy our nation must return
to where they came from and we forbid Satan to send re-enforcing spirits.
We command every evil power to weaken and loosen their hold over the
Capitol, State Capitols, City governments and media both Christian and
secular. We bind the principalities of the air. We cut all Satan and his
agent’s avenues of communications.
We take authority over the spirit of war, Zeus, and bind his King with
chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron according to Psa. 149: 8, 9.
To execute upon them the judgment written; this honor have all his saints.
Praise ye the Lord. Let the spirits of war between the nations, destruction,
hatred and anger be bound by the power of the Name of Jesus.
Father, We lay hold on complete liberty and obedience and confess the
Lordship of Jesus Christ over this intercessory group. We claim Your
Word, speaking the things that are not as though they were, for we choose
to look at the unseen, the eternal promises of God. We boldly proclaim that
Satan and his evil spirits will not get an advantage against the people that
we pray for. We are not ignorant of Satan’s devices and we know that our
Lord Jesus Christ already defeats him. We plead the blood of Jesus over
every petition that we are warring for this day.
We invoke Your favor this day on every prayer league from sea to sea.
May all that call upon Your Holy Name be rewarded. Touch our every need
with Your supply, spiritual, physical, and material and link our impotence
to your omnipotence.
We worship You Father and thank You for Your answers to these prayers.
We claim that all vacant places that we have won victory over, that you
will fill them with Your presence, and that Your will to be done on earth
as it is in heaven, Your Holy Spirit, Your righteousness and Your Rev.

ABOUT PATHOLLIDAY, PhD
Patricia Holliday, PhD, was called into the ministry in 1975 and has
ministered worldwide. She received her PhD at Southeastern Theology
Seminary, Jacksonville, Florida, 1993. She is the President of Miracle
Outreach Ministry. She appears on many international television and radio
shows.
Miracle Outreach Ministries is an international ministry. Miracles, signs
and wonders, healing, and deliverance follow this ministry. Her latest
