KG Top - „DIN 1946 T4-design“ with TÜV-S certification

Air conditioning units of version KG TOP can be offered now in “DIN 1946 T4 – version”.
For this design a certificate of TÜV-S Munich is available. This design is only available with an extended
delivery time due to the special purchased parts.
Typical particular cases are hospitals, day hospitals, laboratories, the pharmaceutical industry, possibly also
production facilities for electronical devices etc.
For this design the hygiene relevant requirements are certified from the following standards:

 DIN 1946 part 4 (current issue 12/2008)


 VDI 6022 (04/2006)
 DIN EN 13053 (11/2007)

The corresponding certificate can be requested at TK.


The extraordinary measurements are mentioned below.
In case of an order placement, VKA-K encloses the necessary detail drawings.
Air handling units as “DIN 1946 T4-design” are executed as indoor units, due to the required cleaning and
disinfection work (KGW – design possible).

1. Extraordinary measurements

Compared to the serial design, concerning order processing and installation the measures mentioned
below have to be taken. In reasonable cases differing or rather higher requirements can be defined by the
planning. If additional measurements are feasible, they can also be put into practice on site.
