ABSTRACT
Businesses rely on marketing to succeed, and the world’s business community has come to
embrace this standard of successfully marketing items to accomplish desired outcomes. A lot of
supplies sale the paracetamol tablet as the OTC product among the patients as a mostly use
antipyretic and analgesic agents. The aim of the present study is a marketed survey of different
brands of paracetamol tablets manufactured in India. . 15 brands of paracetamol selected for the
survey Paracetamol is the most prescribed analgesic drug which is used in treatment of mild to
moderate pain relief. In in h tablet are popular over the country product among the patients as a
Good Analgesic and the objective of these study was compare the quality of the paracetamol tablet
formulations these are locally available in rural market of marketed survey of paracetamol tablet
done On the basis of sales of drug, Doctors prescription and Pharmacist recommended drugs we
surveyed various brands of paracetamol available in the market. we found that the preference for
the brands of paracetamol is different. It was seen that mostly Dolo 650 brands were prescribed
mostly.

INTRODUCTION
Paracetamol is the most prescribed analgesic drug which is used in treatment of mild to moderate
pain relief. The aim of the present study is a marketed survey of different brands of paracetamol
tablets manufactured in India. 15 brands of paracetamol selected for the survey. Taj life sciences
was made paracetamol in India from 2008.now become the top and leading paracetamol
manufacturer and pharmaceutical marketing is the last element of an information continuum where
research concept is transformed into practical therapeutic tools and where information is
progressively layered and made more useful to the healthcare system. In those projects we have
prepared Questionnaires for doctors as well as pharmacists and customers. With the help of these
questions, we conducted the marketed survey of the different brands of paracetamol manufactured
in India. The global paracetamol 4 market size was valued at USD 700.24 million in 2021 and is
expected to expand at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 3.97 from 2022 to
2030.Paracetamol is a mild analgesic and antipyretic and is recommended for the treatment of
most painful and febrile conditions for example headache including migraine, toothache,
neuralgia, colds and influenza sore throat ,backache ,rheumatic pain .Pharmacopoeia tablets are
solid, flat, or biconvex unit dose forms of a drug alone or a pharmaceutical combined with
excipients that are created by compressing a medication. Tablets are regarded to be the most often
used conventional dosage form, making up 70% of all pharmaceuticals given out, due to its many
advantages.

The survey was conducted in the Solapur Region from 12 September to 3 October. I mostly visited
doctors and medical shops near me.

SURVEY
To carry out the survey close to where I live was my instruction. I decided to conduct my survey
in Solapur. Particularly, I spent a lot of time at medical facilities close to Civil Hospital Road. The
survey’s findings are as follows.

The Dolo 650 marketing approach has recently generated a lot of buzz in India's pharmaceutical
business. With a revenue of Rs 307 crore (UD$40 million) in 2021, DOLO 650, a brand of
paracetamol/acetaminophen manufactured by Micro Labs, is now the most recommended brand
for Covid-19 patients. In the final month of 2021, it outperformed Calpol, the market leader. By
contrast, Crocin recorded double-digit sales last year at Rs 23.6 crore. Dolo 650 became the most
prescribed medicine during the COVID-19 pandemic. The drug has cornered sales of Rs 567 crore
since March 2020, selling more than 350 crore pills and 7.5 crore strips of medicine. 13
About 7.5 crore strips of dolo-650 were sold annually before the pandemic the year later
that rose to 9.4 crore and 14.5 crore by 2021 end. 13
