Mission Statement:
 Our team is dedicated to cultivating and encourage professionalism in the
workplace, with a specific attention on navigating cross-cultural dynamics within the
ever-evolving supply chain industry. Our mission is to create an environment that
cherishes diversity, encourages open communication, and adopt cultural differences
to enhance collaboration, innovation, and success in the global business landscape.

Communication:
Open and Transparent Communication:

Regular Updates:
 Utilizing regular team meetings and digital communication tools for sharing project
updates, challenges, and achievements.
 Ensuring agendas are circulated before meetings to facilitate preparation and active

 Providing resources and training to enhance understanding of diverse cultural
backgrounds.

Meetings & Schedule:


Punctuality:
 Highlighting punctuality to show respect for the time of one another.
 Establishing standards for punctual meeting attendance and compliance with
deadlines.

Agenda Setting:
 Making sure that agendas are well prepared before meetings to help focus and
increase productivity.
 Enabling the team members to propose agenda items in the context of relevant
issues.

Regular Check-ins:
 Encouraging frequent informal check-ins to preserve a feeling of connectedness.
 Promoting informal communication to build rapport among the team members.

Tuesday 4:00 – 5:00 Room C3-15 or alternate

Decisions & Conflicts:


Consensus Building:
 Pursuing oneness in decision-making to involve different opinions.
 Promoting open discussions and brainstorming sessions.

Conflict Resolution:
 Implementing a conflict resolution process that includes open discussion and
mediation.
 Encouraging empathy and understanding during conflict resolution.

Violation of Values, Expectations, or Rules:


 Every team member acknowledges that a consistent or significant breach of values,
expectations, or rules, as outlined and not limited to them, will lead to the following
course of action (with consideration for circumstances beyond an individual's
control):

Handling Violations:
 When two incidents happen, the other team members will have conversation with
the individual about the problem.
 A verbal warning will be given at a formal meeting, the notes of which will be
recorded.
 If a repeat offense happens, team members will vote collectively on the need to
eliminate the individual from the team.
 In case the team votes for removal, the decision will be presented to the instructor
for approval or mediation.
 Recognition of the fact that a team member that has been remove from this team
project will get a zero grade for their contribution in this project.

Feedback Mechanism:
 Creating a clear feedback system that enables team members to raise their concerns.
 Maintaining confidentiality and ensuring that the environment in which the feedback
is delivered is free from judgment.

Corrective Actions:
 By taking corrective actions that aim at education, development, and development.
 Developing a culture of lifelong learning and development.

The undersigned, as team members, willingly, without pressure, agree to all the terms and
conditions of this Team Charter.
