Logistics Dzibilchaltún 2024
Schedule:
• 7:10-7:30: Students will use the restrooms at school before leaving.
• 730 – 8:00 On our way to Dzibilchaltún
• 8:00 – 8:15 Arrival at a Dzibilchaltún
• 8:15 – 11:05 Visit the Arqueological Site
• 11:15 – 11:45 Lunch Break
• 11:45 – 12:00 Board Bus
• 12:00-12:30 Back to school
Trip logistics:
• We will gather at the entrance upon our arrival. The students can use the restrooms if necessary.
• Teachers will support by watching the students and helping them go to the restrooms.
• (Entrance) The students will get in line with their group (1-5), The General instructions will be given.
• 2 Teachers (LA and/ or Workshop, Spanish) will guide the students, watch their behavior and make sure they
are safe during the visit.
• The teachers that will guide the students will be organized as follows:
6th Group 1 6th Group 2 6th Group 3 6th Group 4 6th Group 5

• In each of the bases the teacher will provide information, The students will then answer the exercises on the worksheet
related to the base.
• Templo Parado: At this base, the teacher will also provide general info related to Dzibichaltún.
• Once the students have completed their 5 bases, we will all get together at the Plaza Central to take a group
picture.
• The estimated time for each base will be 30 minutes. The rotation Schedule is the following:

• The students will eat at the lunch area after visiting the 5 bases. (30min)
• Important: If the museum is available, we will pay a quick visit, before boarding the bus. The students will visit the museum in
their bus groups. The teachers that were on the bus with the students will accompany them.
• We will begin boarding the bus at 11:50. (Please consider this time may vary if students visit the museum)
Important points to consider:
- Transportation: The students will ride on buses. Teachers and students will be organized as follows:

- The Bus Coordinators will carry wipes, antibacterial gel, trash bag and a first aid kit.
- Clothing: Jeans, School uniform Shirt/T-shirt, Tennis shoes, Clip board, pencil case (students)
- Note: Please remind the students not to bring any distractors like cameras, cellphones, ipads, etc.
