Letter of Offer
I would like to congratulate you on joining the Little Sparrow Melbourne team as a Food and Beverage
attendant Level 2. You will be employed at our Noosa store location as a Waiter, All-rounder. We
recommend you take the time to review this letter of offer and all attached documents provided to you as
part of this email.

Position Offered: - Food & Beverage Attendant - Level 2 – ( Casual )

On your first day of employment, you will be required to report directly to the store Manager.
Please note your roster will be provided to you on a weekly basis through a rostering application
called Zenshits which can be downloaded onto any phone or PC. Your first week’s roster will be
published every Friday. Once the roster is published by your manager you will receive both a text
message & email of your upcoming weekly roster.
As part of your duties, you will be expected to perform all tasks required on a day-to-day basis working in
a café environment as Food & Beverage Attendant - level 2. As part of your ongoing employment, you
will be employed under the Restaurant Industry Award 2023 [ MA000009] - The rate of pay under this
award is outlined below.

Your remuneration will be paid @ $30.10 Mon-Fri

We have attached as part of this email our Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) which you are required to
read in full and be aware of all our systems & procedures prior to the start of your first shift. You will be paid
an additional 2 hours to compensate you for your time reading the SOP’s (Standard Operating procedures)
which will be added to your first weeks’ pay. Please note this payment will be paid once you have completed
your first day’s shift and have answered some basic questions correctly relating to the Little Sparrow
Melbourne SOP’s handbook to a H.O representative.

It is highly recommended that you attend your first shift at least 20 minutes earlier in which this will allow
you to obtain your uniform and provide you enough time to dress and return to the store to begin the start
of your shift.

As part of your employment, you will be provided with Little Sparrow uniform prior to the commencement
of your first shift. You must provide your own black pants and shoes as part of the completed uniform.
You understand that the uniform provided to you is at no charge and is the property of Little Sparrow
Melbourne. Please note payment may be withheld if at any stage of your employment comes to an end
and the uniform is not returned within 7 days

As part of your first week’s roster, you will be provided with 3 to 4 Training shifts to familiarise yourself
with our systems and procedures.

Your employment with Little Sparrow Melbourne will be subject to a 6-month probation period from the
commencement day of your employment.
