Prolog
Lost.
A word without explanation has a lot of meaning in it. Anyone can pull it out as much as they
can. Does that mean someone lost direction? Lost things? Or the loss of a beloved cat? What
does the word "lost" really mean?
But here, it's not about lost belongings or beloved cats. Here, a teenage girl stands facing her
life. After a doctor once said that she had lost her memory. Lost the real memory.
What's ever happened in the past? Or what's the consequence of losing her memory?
She doesn't know.
Girls generally love music, watching Korean dramas, walking around the city,
gathering and joking with friends, and so on. But not with this short-haired girl.
Now, she's sitting on her study bench. In one of her hands, she held a pill, moved
quickly, put it in her mouth, then took a sip the water that was in the glass until it was
exhausted.
There is not much she can do. It's dark out there with some street lights visible along
the way. There's no noise or crowd that's kidding your ears. There's nothing up there. The sky
is full of darkness as far as the eye can see. There are no clouds or moons covering the night
sky. Nothing attracted the girl's attention.
She stood up, then lifted her legs closer to the bed. A few seconds later, he sits down
on the floor with his hands on the bedside and pulls out a storage box. The box was made of
wood, not too big, and filled with dust.
The girl accidentally found it while she was cleaning her entire room—usually her
mother—a few hours ago. Her eyeball moves through every detail of the box. Her hand
moves to get rid of the dust that covers the engraving on the box's lid, then opens it.
There's a lot of stuff. Toys, watches, watchmakers, writing tools, and other unique
items. Her eyes were directed at a black, medium-sized book. Every corner has changed
colour to brown. There are two word cutters attached to the cover of the book.
Manika Rahayu.
Slowly, she stepped out of his position, climbing up her pit. His back leaned on the
bedboard, while his two legs were bent. With her eyes beginning to fade and evaporate
several times due to previously taken medication, the girl began to open the book with the
diary.
Without opening the first page of the book, his hand immediately divided the page. A
sentence written with black ink and a messy shape.
I wanted to commit suicide.
Good bye.
Dad, I'm coming.
Terrible sentence. That's the first impression of the writing through her face. As soon
as she returned to steam, her hand moved again to open the next page, not bothering with that
vague writing. Empty. The contents of the diary are cut off in those bad sentences.
I can't do it anymore. The tremendous cough can no longer be held back. Her head
just fell on top of a pile of diaries that still showed the bad sentence.
She's asleep.

ONE
Miss Unfortunate
The sun begins to shine on the earth after dark night. Fresh and cool air greets you,
while the sky spreads out in bright colors. The sound of singing birds brings life to the
surroundings, and the fresh aroma of leaves or brewing coffee fills the air. Many people
started to come out of their homes, carrying out their daily activities with enthusiasm
I woke up from my sleep which felt long and tiring. Still half awake from sleep, my
eyes glanced at the clock which showed 6 am.
"Seriously?! I'm late!"
Without thinking, I immediately jumped out of bed, grabbed a shabby towel and
rushed to take a shower. It didn't take long, I had finished showering and sorted out my white
and gray high school clothes to wear to school.
After tidying up, I immediately rushed to school. Because I was in a hurry, I didn't
even look at the dining table for breakfast. I know that mom is too busy, so she doesn't have
time to make breakfast for me.
I left without saying goodbye to my mother. I was so panicked that I ran into the yard
and led the old bicycle he usually used outside the house gate just like that. A few seconds
later, my legs pedaled my bicycle hastily towards school
I panted as I continued pedaling the bicycle as hard as I could. It's been a long time
since I felt panic because I woke up late, or in fact I never have.
Soon I'll be at school. From a few meters down, you could see the closed gate because
it was already 6.32, 2 minutes after the bell rang.
"How is this?" I said confused.
Not long after, a teacher came on picket. She approached me outside the gate. I was
invited in by the person on duty.
However, I was still punished before I could continue to class. The punishment is
quite trivial. I just told to stand in the field until the specified time while being interrogated.
"Why are you late, Manika?" asked the middle-aged woman.
She knows me quite well. I am one of those students who never comes late.
I explained at length before finally being released from punishment and walking down
the building corridor to my class.
The first subject is English. Luckily the English teacher was kind, so I didn't get
additional punishment for being late for class.
I was immediately asked to sit down and took out my textbook to take part in the
lesson.
I listened to the teacher's explanation carefully, unlike some other children chatting
behind. They are really noisy. My focus was lost because of their presence. My head turned
back. Smiling at them and trying to reprimand them.
"Excuse me. Your voices are very loud. Can you guys-”
Before I finished speaking, they interrupted me.
"You know? You're brave, aren't you? That's really stupid,” said one of them.
The friend next to him nodded, while looking at me sarcastically.
"It seems you forgot your position as our babu, huh?"
My face was confused. My head tilted slightly to look at them.
"What do you mean?"
They feel annoyed. One of them squeezed his fingers and shouted at me in a loud
tone. Now the whole class's attention was on her.
"Gosh! Those in the back are so noisy! Dea! Mira! Sita! You're noisy again. I heard
everything. You were reprimanded by Manika, but instead you scolded her back," said the
middle-aged woman, scolding them.
I can only be silent. Entering the three lists of names in my mind.
The teacher glanced at me, then her mouth opened again.
"You must imitate Manika's polite behavior and listen when the teacher explains."

‫ـ‬٨‫ـﮩﮩ‬٨‫ﮩ‬

After 2 hours, finally break time rang. The students immediately scattered out of the
classroom. The atmosphere suddenly became very busy. Some were having snacks, just
chatting, laughing out loud, and even running around the corridors of the school building.
Everyone is looking forward to break time. But, not with me. I chose to stay where I
was sitting. I don't like crowds, so I don't have many friends to chat with. Apart from that, I
usually bring lunch so I don't go to the canteen for snacks because I prefer to save my pocket
money.
But this time is different. I didn't bring lunch because I woke up late. With a heavy
heart, I had to use my pocket money to buy food.
Then I got up from the bench and walked towards the cafeteria.
My hand moved into my pocket. Blank. I didn't find a single note. Feeling
disappointed, I turned around to return to class.
I want to go to class immediately. I hastened my steps towards class because I was
starting to feel uncomfortable with the crowd.
Because I wasn't focused, I accidentally bumped into someone.
"Sorry. I'm in a hurry-"
"Manika? Why are you in a hurry? Besides, it's normal for you to go to the cafetaria.
Usually you bring lunch." Said the person I bumped into suddenly.
I raised my head. A young man was standing in front of me. I saw the name engraved
on his white uniform.
Langit Argha.
My eyes looked back at him. My lips moved into a small smile.
“I forgot to bring supplies. Then, now I wanna go to class." My answer is simple.
The man tilted his head, cute. His hands were crossed in front of his chest. His eyes
continued to stare at my face for a long time.
"Have you bought anything from the caretaria?" he asked. His eyes had been combing
all over my body. Realizing that I didn't bring anything from the cafetaria.
I was silent for a moment. I quickly looked away from where I was looking and
smiled awkwardly.
"I finished it straight away in the cafeteria."
The young man's face came a few inches in front of me. Looked at my face for a few
seconds, then went back to where he came from
He looked at me flatly.
"Liar."
My lips quirked at him. My heart was anxious to hit this young man in front of me.
"I am not lying."
"Lie."
"No!"
"Then why is your face turning red?"
Immediately I felt confused. My fist just slid into his fairly muscular arm.
"I told you. I'm full-"
Kruyukkk...
This time I covered my face with both hands. My cheeks heated up with
embarrassment. Meanwhile, Langit smiled with satisfaction at his victory.
"Is that the sound of someone who is full? Don't lie to me. Your face always turns red
when you lie, you know," he said as he opened his palm covering my face.
I nodded weakly. I saw him reach into his trouser pocket, take out a bill, then hand it
to me.
"For you. That's enough to buy fried rice," said Langit.
My eyes blinked at the piece of paper. Not wanting to accept it, I was actually
confused by his behavior.
"Why are you nice to me?"
The man smiled faintly as he took one of my hands and put the money in my palm.
"What else? We're friends," he answered briefly as he started to walk away.
I didn't move for a moment. But then I shouted a little at him who was still looking at
me.
"Thank you, Langit!"
The man smiled broadly as he gave both thumbs up.
Without thinking for a long time, I directed my steps back towards the cafeteria.
After waiting in line for a long time, my order was finally ready. Namely spicy fried
rice without crackers, my favorite. In my hand there was also a glass of iced tea. Enough to
fill your stomach until you get home from school.
I immediately headed to class so I could eat while studying before the bell rang.
Because after this is a mathematics lesson where the teacher is known to be very disciplined
and fierce. I don't want to be punished for being late for class. I also have to prepare material
so that when there is an impromptu quiz, I can answer it.
While walking in the hallway in front of the class, my ears accidentally heard the
conversation of two students from the next class. She said that today there would be an
impromptu math exam to fill in the blank scores.
When I arrived at class, I immediately opened the math book and started studying so
focused that I forgot to eat the rice I had bought.
Suddenly, I was surprised by the presence of three girls in front of my table. They
were the same people the Indonesian teacher scolded a few hours ago.
“Manika. You already know that today there will be an impromptu exam, right?" said
one of them. Sita, if I remember her name correctly.
"Quick! Make a cheat sheet for us," the one named Mira told me.
I looked at them annoyed, "Why would I do that?"
The girl named Dea was annoyed. He threw one of his legs towards my desk so that
my iced tea spilled and hit my math notebook.
"Haha! What an annoyance! Being ordered instead of obeying instead of not knowing
yourself," said Mira laughed.
After teasing me, they just walked away. Leaving me to sigh repeatedly.
I can not do anything. Can only lament fate.
Now, I can't study because my math book is wet.
"Jeez, Manika... Why is your table wet?"
I looked up, looking at who else had come to visit my table.
My lips were etched with a smile of gratitude. It turned out that Langit had come. He
just entered the classroom.
His face looked worried seeing the condition of my study table. I shook my head
slowly while smiling even wider.
"I accidentally spilled the iced tea that was on the table."
Langit chuckled in annoyance as he looked angrily at the back of the class.
"Was it really you who dropped it? Or Dea and her friend?"
Langit was suspicious because Dea, Mira and Sita had been laughing while stealing
glances at my table.
Again, I shook my head, "Not them. It's my fault for not being careful."
The young man took a deep breath. His eyes looked back at me.
"Okay. I have tissues in my bag. Let me help you clean it," said Langit as he moved to
take a tissue from his bag, then helped me clean the table.
A few minutes later, I thanked him. Because I feel sorry, Langit invited me to study
with him. However, unfortunately, when we wanted to study together, the mathematics
teacher had already entered the class. A sign that the exam will start soon.
Me, who didn't have time to learn, complained. Sighing in resignation at my math test
score this time.
The middle-aged woman with glasses perched on the living began to hand out her test
papers. I got a sheet of paper containing math problems.
The exam begins.
For several minutes, I kept counting. Estimating the probability of correct or incorrect
answers. I don't have many formulas memorized.
A few minutes later, suddenly a small piece of paper was thrown at me. My head was
spinning looking for the culprit, but everyone was busy with their exam papers.
My hand moved to open the thrown paper. My eyes were shocked when I saw the
contents which were full of mathematical formulas.
Suddenly a hand forcefully pulled the small piece of paper. I looked at the person. I
was even more surprised when I found out that the person who had just forcibly pulled the
paper was my math teacher.
"Manika! Stand in front of the class now!" She said fiercely.
I stuttered while convincing her.
"It's not mine, ma'am."
"Just an excuse! It's clearly on you. Stand up quickly!"
"But, ma'am-"
Without thinking, the woman immediately took my test paper and tore it.
"Everyone. This is what will happen if you cheat, Manika Rahayu, please stand in
front of the class. Now."
I nodded in resignation, then immediately stood up and walked to the front of the
class. I lowered my face in shame. The tightness in my chest also felt painful.
A few seconds later the class was filled with laughter. All the students laughed at me.
Except Langit. He looked at me with a sad look. When our eyes accidentally met, he
immediately looked away to protect my feelings.
After the exam ended, while my friends were continuing to study their next lesson, I
was severely reprimanded by my math teacher outside the room.
After scolding me, She made an agreement that my math test scores would be
accumulated with additional assignment scores as a form of forgiveness. However, I can't
expect to get a perfect score from the additional assignment.
A few minutes later, I was invited to return to class and catch up on the lessons I had
left until it was time to go home.
I walked down the classroom hallway to where my bicycle was parked. My steps
falter. My body is very tired. Today I had a lot of bad luck.
While on the way, I almost ran into Dea's gang again. I immediately turned around
and looked for another way.
"I'd better go through the back of the park," I said vaguely.
After some time, I arrived at the parking lot. I immediately pedaled my bicycle out of
the school gate. After arriving home, I immediately parked the bicycle in the yard. I was very
tired and wanted to quickly lie down in my room. When I arrived at the front door of the
house, I saw the figure of my mother standing in the doorway. Her gaze was cold. In her hand
was a cellphone.
I smile. Ready to greet him. But, before she could get out, she was first speak.
“Manika. Explain why I got a report that you cheated in math class?" She asked
curtly.
My shoulders slumped deeply. I was scared looking at her face like that to me. My
mouth is shut tight. Unable to utter a single word to defend myself.
“This is the last time I will be humiliated by you! I don't want to hear any more report
from school about your naughty behavior!" She shouted.
Her face was contorted with anger. She continued to glare at me as she continued
pointed her index finger at me. "If you can't make me proud, it's better to die! Don't
embarrass me!"
I can't hold it in anymore.
I immediately ran to the room without even looking at my mother. In the room, I
immediately threw the bag and threw my body on the bed. Bury your face in a pile of pillows.
Until a few hours later, I started to turn my face. Take a deep breath.
My eyes are puffy, even swollen. My hair is messy and my face is dirty. My eyes fell
on the pile of books on the table. Without realizing it, my body got up from the bed and
moved closer to the table.
My hands moved through the neatly arranged rows of books, until my eyes were fixed
in a medium sized book, black, and had my name in the middle of the cover. I took a pen,
then opened the book and started writing down what I wanted to pour out from within my
heart.
Today I was scolded by my teacher and mother because I thought I was cheating.
I laughed a little out of relief. I started to express all the contents of my heart's
complaints. After finishing writing, I realized that the book I was using was a diary.
"This looks like a diary, I should write the phrase 'dear diary' to make it more similar,"
I said vaguely. "From now on this book is a diary about me."
Dear Diary.
Today, August 16 2021.
Today I was thought to have cheated and was scolded by the teacher, it was really too much.
Not only that, I also came to school late because I was late, worse, I was punished for
standing in the field for almost 10 minutes. Today I also didn't bring lunch because I didn't
have time to prepare it at home, luckily there was someone who was kind to me. Her name is
Langit. He gave me money so I could have snacks. Apart from that, he also helped me wipe
my desk which was wet because Dea deliberately spilled ice on my desk, even getting my
math book wet so I didn't study. Gosh, Dea and her friends are so annoying. What did I do
wrong?
I re-read the writing I wrote in the book. It doesn't look bad for me that write a diary
for the first time. However, one thing was certain when I wrote down every word in the book.
I feel strange. I don't know what's strange, but my heart feels something is strange.

Part 2

The alarm sounded loudly, disturbing my deep sleep that was drifting off into
dreamland. It was difficult to open my eyelids, but a few seconds later my eyelids slowly and
forcefully opened.
My hand moved to the table near her bed, then turned off the alarm that disturbed my
sleep. My hair was a mess with the typical face of someone who just woke up. I slowly got
up, walking lazily to the bathroom.
"Hoammm! I'm still so sleepy!" I clucked, but I didn't want to be late again like
yesterday.
After showering and putting on my uniform, I headed to the dining table while
carrying my bag on my back. My eyes scanned the dining table, there wasn't much to fill it,
only one package of bread that was still neatly on the table.
"Mom- Ah! Has she left yet?" I asked as I peeked into the kitchen. There was no mom
there.
I quickly grabbed the bread that was on the table, put it in my bag, and headed out into
the yard to get my bicycle. I led the bicycle out of the house. Before I left to ride it, I locked
the door and fence.
After a few minutes of pedaling, I finally arrived at the school's bike parking lot. This
parking lot is often deserted because not many students use bicycles to go to school.
After parking my bike neatly, I walked leisurely to my class. Not once or twice did I
pass by other students. No one greeted me, nor did I greet anyone as I walked along the
corridor.
I was a pretty quiet kid. Maybe it was because I belonged to a minority group, so I
was often mistreated. One or two of them thought I was a loser—except for Langit. However,
that only happened in class. Outside of class, I was grateful because no one treated me the
way Dea's gang did.
I sat down on my stool. My eyes glanced at the table next to me—where Langit was
sitting. There was no one there.
Where is he? The first hour is about to start.
Worry suddenly emerged from my mind, thinking of several possibilities that caused
Langit not to come. Even though he was rarely absent.
Until an object was thrown on top of my head. It felt quite painful. I turned my head
to look around the classroom. Until my eyes locked on Dea and her gang at the far corner of
the classroom. They were laughing as they watched me.
"Is Langit not coming in today? Looks like no one will protect you today. Haha!" said
Dea, the gang leader.
"Wow! What a pity. Do you feel like you've lost your hero?"
They, Dea's gang, laughed after what Mira said. I paid no attention to their babbling
and looked away.
A few seconds later the teacher came and started the lesson.
‫ـ‬٨‫ـﮩﮩ‬٨‫ﮩ‬

The break bell has rung.

I closed the open books on my desk and put them into the desk drawer. I reached into
my bag and pulled out a loaf of bread that I had brought earlier, about to eat it because of the
hunger I had been holding in since leaving this morning—even for me, one loaf of bread
wasn't enough to satisfy my hunger.
However, some people suddenly came to hit my table. Canceling my intention to eat
the bread.
"Hey Manika! Hand me all your money. I didn't bring any money today," said Dea as
she stretched out her hand in front of my face.
I looked at her lazily. My stomach was hungry, and I didn't even have much pocket
money.
Sita, who had noticed the look on my face, pulled my hair hard. "Did you hear that?"
Grimacing, I gave Dea all the money in my pocket.
"Akh! It's the money, please let go."
"If you always do this, it's great. We don't need to give you mop water anymore.
Haha!" Dea said while forcefully snatching a piece of paper from my hand.
Sita also let go of her grip roughly while smiling in satisfaction. After bothering me,
they looked away without thanking me- ah, I even hoped to hear those words from their
mouths. I just took a deep breath as I looked back at the bread that was still on the table.
"It's a good thing they didn't take the bread."
So I just ate the bread I brought this morning.

‫ـ‬٨‫ـﮩﮩ‬٨‫ﮩ‬

My class had been empty all day and rather than be made a nuisance by Dea and her
friends, it was better for me to leave. This is where I am now, on the rooftop of the school.
Today Langit didn't go to school, no one defended me at all when I was bullied.
My mind drifted away. Contemplating myself who didn't understand why I was the
victim of bullying at school. Did I ever do anything wrong to them? I didn't understand.
"I don't even have money anymore because they took it from me. even though the rest
of the money was to buy food," I said softly.
I let out a tired breath. My stomach felt very hungry, but there was nothing to buy
either.
I glanced at the clock on my wrist. It's about to ring the dismissal bell. I hurry back to
class, heading for the desk that's already covered in vague scribbles. Without thinking about
who did it, I was sure it was Dea and her gang. I grimaced inwardly at the thought of my
future life at school. Maybe my bag would be thrown in the fish pond next.
"Feel that! How dare you run away from us. Do our work for tomorrow. Otherwise,
you know the consequences."
Dea threw her book and her gang's book right in front of me. Then they just left. I
could only bend down, pick up their books thrown at my feet, and put them in a bag to take
home.
My feet walked unsteadily to the bicycle parking lot. My eyes looked at the condition
of the tyres on my bicycle, which was already flat.
"Who would have the heart to do this? I guess it must be Dea, Mira and Sita. Akh!
How annoying," I said irritably.
For the umpteenth time I exhaled—but this time violently. In the end, I led my bicycle
out of the school gate and headed home on foot.
My mind is very confused. It was sad to think of living a school life as unpleasant as
this. Unconsciously, I walked down the street with an empty feeling. Arriving at my humble
home, I quickly parked my bike in the yard.
"I'm home."
There was no reply. That means my mom is still at work. I quickly stepped into my
room, changed my clothes, and sat down at the study table, ready to do my assignment—and
Dea's gang assignment. Ignoring the hunger that was still gnawing at my stomach. Because if
mum comes home and finds me not studying, then this is more dangerous than just hunger.
"Why do I want to do their work, when they don't even pay me," I complained in the
middle of between assignments, wishing I had the courage to say it directly to them.
If someone asks if not tired after school always studying, then the answer is of course
tired. Very tired. But this is what I have to do every time I come home from school. If I
didn't, mum would scold me, even hit me. Since dad died, mum has been very different,
demanding that I be the perfect child and reliable in everything. It's very tiring, isn't it? It's
the same at school and at home. Both are nauseating.
"Mom's home, Manika, are you in your room? Can Mom come in?"
That's mom's voice. There was the sound of a door knob being turned from my
bedroom door
"Yes, mam. Just go in."
I forced a smile to see my mother already in my room with a scary smile, in my
opinion.
"Smart kid. Always like this, huh. Mom doesn't want to know, you have to get first
place. Of course because mom has spent a lot of money to pay for your school," he said,
smiling even wider after seeing me doing my assignments.
I responded with a faint smile. A few seconds later, she just left with the sound of the
door closing.
I'm a little confused. Unlike usual, today she just nagged me in the room. But I'm
quite relieved because today I don't have to receive a beating like mother usually gives me,
just because of that I feel better today.
I continued doing my work and Dea's gang until it was finished. It was very difficult
to think about to look for answers to the questions given, then write them down in four books.
Until the sun began to slip. Afternoon gave way to night.
I had just finished having dinner with my mother while listening to her ramble on
about how I should get first place in the exam. I only listened to it for a while and the rest I
didn't listen. Then after washing the dishes, I immediately left the dining table. I returned to
my room to my study table, again, and opened the diary that I had always considered my
friend - after Langit - because that was where I poured out all my feelings every day.
I started writing word by word, page by page in the book. Spilling everything that
happened to me today
Dear Diary
Today, 17 August 2021.
I live my school life with an empty feeling. Why? Why do they hate me? What is my fault?
How could they bully me.
Today my pocket money, which was only a little left, was forcibly taken away by them, and
my desk was scribbled by them. They even arbitrarily told me to do their assignments and
unfortunately I couldn't fight back and just looked down, crying.
Today, Langit was absent from school. It made me sad because usually he was the one who
would defend me if I was bullied. But not today. I know I shouldn't rely too much on Langit,
but I thank God for sending me someone who is so kind, cares about me, and is even willing
to defend me. I don't know the reason why Langit didn't come in today, he didn't tell me
anything, but I hope he's okay, because someone like him deserves a good day.
Oh yeah! Today my mum didn't spank me like usual. I don't know why, but it's enough to
make me feel a little relieved. I don't know about tomorrow, haha. Honestly, I'm so tired of
the drama of my life....
Dad, I miss you so much. I just want to catch up with you.
I stared at the writing on my diary that was wet from my tears falling as I wrote. I was
a little relieved after pouring out everything that happened today in my diary. I closed the
book that contained all my confessions and put it back nicely and neatly on the desk shelf. I
wiped my face that was partly wet with tears.
"Come on Manika! You have to stay strong and spirited through the rigours of life!
I'm sure there will come a time when I'll be happy, right? Yes! I will!" I said, encouraging
myself.
I'm very grateful to the person who gave me this diary. I hope he always protects and
watches over me from up there.
I didn't sleep straight away tonight. Tomorrow I have a physics exam scheduled which
means I have to study hard tonight and get a perfect score. Because if not, I will disappoint
Mom.
After a while, I started to get lost in my studies and the silence of the night made me
sleepy. The hands on my alarm clock turned out to be 1am. I immediately tidied up my messy
study table, then rushed to bed, not forgetting to turn off the lights, and after a few minutes I
was finally in dreamland.

Part 3
The sunlight coming into the room seemed to be trying to cover the emptiness inside
me. A life that felt so heavy made me reluctant to get up from my bed. With unsteady
footsteps and lingering sleepiness, I gathered all my strength and got out of bed. I glanced at
the wall clock hanging in the room.
"Huh! It's already six in the morning."
I quickly got ready to take a shower and put on my school uniform, which was
already starting to get worn out. After getting ready, I walked out of my room and
approached the dining table to bring my lunch.
However, my mother coldly said, "Manika, since your test score yesterday was only
ninety, you can't make lunch supplies today."
I'm surprised and with a feeling of disapproval.
"Mom! I've done my best, I'm going to take my time to sleep to study for the exam."
Listening to my words, my mother got angry and pounded the dining table.
"IF YOU DO YOUR BEST, YOUR GRADE WILL CERTAINLY BE PERFECT,
MANIKA! You are useless! You can't even get a perfect score, so how can you succeed?"
Deg. My heart ached to hear it, remarks like this were already commonly thrown at
me. But in fact hearing it again still hurts me. I endured the pain with a thin smile that I gave.
"Yes, mom. I'm sorry. I will get better grades in the future," I said softly.
With sluggish steps, I stepped out of the house. Then, I stared at my bike listlessly,
remembering that the tires had been deflated by my bullies yesterday. I was forced to walk to
school.
My mind said, "God…, why do problems keep coming to me."
On the way, suddenly a mysterious piece of paper flew and fell in front of me. I
looked around and found no one there. I picked up the piece of paper which contained
someone's handwriting.
Hold on a little longer, Manika.
Confusedly, I tried to think what the writing meant, but I chose to ignore it and kept
walking to get to school.
Arriving at the school gate, I glanced at my watch which showed the time 06.28. I
breathed a sigh of relief.
"Good thing I'm not late," I said softly.
But the relief didn't last long because as I walked down the corridor I found my
bullies. I tried to avoid their eyes, which were Sita, Dea, and Mira. However, the ones I was
trying to avoid called out to me.
"Hey, Manika! Where have you been? We need something from you," Sita shouted.
I tried to ignore them, but they moved closer.
Dea, who was feeling anxious, raised her voice, "Don't pretend not to know, Manika.
We know you have what we need."
I sighed heavily. I reached into my bag and pulled out three books from inside, then
handed them to them.
"This is your book. I've done it as you requested. Now you can go." I said.
Mira looked at me sarcastically. There was a lopsided smile on her face.
"Oh! Of course not. We won't just let you go."
They started to engage me physically, trying to grab my backpack to get the physics
exam cheat sheet. I refused, tucking the bag to my side.
"No, I won't give it to you. You have no right to take it because I did it, I also did your
pr yesterday." I said angrily
Suddenly, Mira's hand flew towards my face and landed a punch that made an
impression on my cheek. We became the center of attention, people just looked at me with
pitying gazes, but no one acted to help me. I felt confused and angry, but still managed not to
cry.
With her lopsided smile and eyes glaring at me, Sita brought her face closer to me
who was still wincing in pain.
"You want to pretend to be smart? We'll see how smart you are after this."
When Sita tried to touch my chin, a young man suddenly appeared and swatted her
hand away roughly.
"Stop! What are you doing?" he asked sarcastically. It was Langit. The only person
who helped me again among many people.
Dea erupted in annoyance, "It's none of your business, Langit. Manika only gives us
what we need."
Langit returned the girl's gaze fiercely.
"She doesn't owe you anything. Let her go now."
Sita's face changed. She stared at Langit with a displeased and sarcastic look.
"Cih, best friends, huh? You two are always so annoying, we'll see."
Mira released her grip, then they left us. I still felt the pain from their punches, but
with Langit's help, I felt a little safer.
"Thank you, Langit. I don't know what would have happened if you hadn't come." I
said thankfully.
The young man's head shook softly, shaking his bushy hair.
"No need to thank me. We're best friends, always protecting each other."
I smiled at his reply.
God, anyone can leave me as long as it's not Langit, because what would I do without
him?
Langit tried to break my reverie, "Hey Manika, let's go into the classroom."
I woke up from my reverie and answered briefly.
"Uh yes, let's go Langit."
We entered the classroom and followed the lesson that was about to begin. Hour after
hour passed. The homecoming bell rang.
KRINGGG, KRINGG.
I cleaned up all my books and put them in my bag. Suddenly, Langit approached me
and asked, "Hey Manika, will you go to the park with me after this?"
I turned to him. My head tilted a few degrees to the side, looking at him confused.
"Hm? What for, Langit?"
"Let's just take a walk in the park while eating and enjoying the ice-cream there," he
said excitedly.
"But Langit... I don't have the money to buy all that" I said listlessly.
"Take it easy, Manika. I'll treat you today because you had a good day," said Langit
while patting my shoulder.
Then, we walked together to the park. To start the conversation, I asked Langit about
why he didn't go to school yesterday.
"Langit, why didn't you come to school yesterday?"
Langit smiled awkwardly as he scratched the back of his neck which was not itchy.
"Ah that, sorry I didn't tell you first man, yesterday I was sick but now I'm fine."
"Thank goodness, I was worried about you," I said with a sigh.
Before we knew it, we had arrived at the park. We both sat under a shady tree in the
park, then Langit took out food and ice cream from his bag.
"This is for you, Manika. Hope it makes you feel better."
I smiled and accepted the food and ice cream. "Thank you so much Langit, I haven't
eaten since morning."
Langit was surprised to hear that and asked "How come? Why?"
I smiled at my best friend, "It's normal, Langit. Mama didn't let me bring lunch
because my score yesterday was only ninety."
The young man was surprised. His eyes glared at me.
"Ninety is very good, Manika! I'll be so proud when I get that score because it's close
to perfect. You're very cool, Manika! You must have worked hard to get that score," said
Langit to encourage me.
"Thank you, Langit."
She smiled as she offered me the food she had.
"Alright, now let's eat first."
Finally, we started enjoying the food and continued eating chocolate and vanilla ice
cream.
Suddenly, Langit said, "Your face is smudged, Manika. But calm down, I have a
solution."
He took a tissue from his pants pocket and gently wiped the melted ice cream spots on
my face. There was a gentle touch in that simple incident.
"Thank you, Langit. You always know how to make me smile, even in difficult
situations like this."
The young man smiled, showing his dimples.
"You know what? It's not about having a bad day. The most important thing is that we
are there for each other and support each other."
Time passed so quickly, like the sun sinking slowly, coloring the sky orange and red.
We had a nice conversation, sometimes laughter and sometimes a more serious conversation.
"Thank you, Langit. Thank you for always being there for me, even on the darkest
days." I said.
Langit smiled gently, "Manika, I will always be there for you. You don't have to face
everything alone. We'll get through this together."
And as the sun fully set, in the dimness of the twilight, I felt grateful to have a friend
like Langit, who made me happy in every little moment.
However, that tranquility suddenly ended when Sita, Dea, and Mira came boisterously
in the middle of our tranquility. The garden, which was usually full of happiness, suddenly
witnessed a tragedy. Sita, Dea, and Mira appeared with sly smiles on their faces, ready to
spread poison among our friendship.
"Langit, we know a big secret about Manika. She hates you because of your
harmonious and rich family," Sita suddenly began.
Her other friends did not remain silent. Dea nodded in agreement with Sita's words.
"Yes, Langit. You really don't know who Manika really is. She only befriended you
because she wanted to take advantage of your wealth."
Langit looked at me with a confused expression, and I felt like the world was
crumbling before my eyes.
"No, Langit, that's not true. I've always cherished our friendship." I said softly, trying
to convince Langit.
Mira looked at me softly, playing face in front of Langit to silence me.
"It's not even just that. We also know about the wallet that Langit lost. It was Manika
who took it for her own purposes."
Sita nodded, "That's right. She stole from you, Langit. How come you're still friends
with her?"
The young man turned his gaze to me. He had a questioning look on his face as he
asked me for an explanation.
"Is it true, Manika?"
I found it difficult to speak, but the truth had to be told.
"N-No Langit, I'm not like that," I stammered back.
Dea, who felt she had a chance to win, took over. With a face made of pity and
annoyance, she looked at me.
"Look, Langit! He can't answer correctly. Don't believe in Manika's trickery."
Langit looked very angry, "Is it true Manika? You're really disappointing, Manika.
Don't contact me again."
I tried to defend myself in front of Langit, but their attack was still successful as well
as the evidence that Langit's wallet was in my bag. They pitted my sheep. Langit left, leaving
me in the park where we used to share laughter and stories. Now, it is filled with the silence
of disappointment and my broken heart.
As if it was only seconds ago that we were exchanging stories, eating ice cream
together, and gazing at the sky together.
I pondered. My chest was tight with tears. Sluggishly, I walked home.
Arriving home, I felt lonely because I didn't find my mom at home. I went upstairs to
my room and lay down on my bed while crying about my miserable life. Suddenly I
remembered my diary. I immediately got up from the bed and took the diary to pour out my
heart today.
Dear diary,
Today, August 18, 2021.
Diary, today the loneliness and despair struck again. I sat in my room, looking out the
window at the twilight sky, but my heart felt even darker.
Langit, my best friend, was moving away from me. They, Sita, Dea, and Mira, managed to pit
us against each other. They entered our lives like a storm, destroying all the happiness we
had built together.
I tried to tell him the truth, that I didn't take Langit's money, but they tricked me by putting
Langit's wallet in my bag. But it was too late, he didn't hear me and believed them. It felt like
the trust we had built up over the years collapsed in an instant.
I wrote down all the bitterness of my heart in this diary, hoping that there was a place to
release the burden of feelings. Why is the world so cruel? Why can such a precious
friendship be destroyed by slander and lies?
I wanted to disappear, to dive into the darkness. But I knew I had to endure. Maybe one day,
Langit will realize the truth, and we can go back to the way we were before. Until then, I can
only pour my heart out within these white pages and hope that every second that passes
brings a miracle of healing to my wounded heart.

Part 4
A light came through the window and touched my body, which felt shaky. I got a
fever. My eyes slowly opened, letting the morning light absorb every corner of my mind.
I saw the clock at 7:00. It looks like my mom didn't knowingly wake me up because
of the fever. The walls of my room offer unexpected tranquility. The soft voice of birds
whispering and the ringing of the wall clock formed my morning background. With a
cautious step, I moved towards the bathroom, finding warmth in the sparks of warm water
that greeted my skin. Then, I went back to bed, hiding myself in the comfort of the blanket,
letting the morning cold give a soft touch to my fragile self.
Annoyance of boring surfing my days at home. With doubts, I opened my diary and
scrolled through the pages that I had shaken with shaking hands. My head was turning, and
the bitter memories of yesterday were soon coming back, shaking my memories to almost
nausea. With the courage left, I decided to pour all those thoughts on new pages, creating a
continuation of my life's story that might be an escape from the boredom that surrounds.
Dear Diary.
Today, August 19, 2021.
I thought it would be better than my day before. Langit didn't excite me anymore, he turned
his back and walked away. I realized that my beautiful hopes had been weakened by bitter
reality. Last morning, I was greeted with my mother's harsh criticism of my poor grades. My
beloved bicycle was also damaged, the shadow of difficulties increasingly haunted me.
Throughout the day, I was forced to divide the work I had done with my sweat. Langit once
defended and encouraged me, but now he must refuse to help me. The noise of my stomach
adds to the burden of my mind, it seems like my mind is getting messed up! I've even
forgotten to feed myself.
I walked out of my room without an appetite, just standing in front of the quiet
kitchen. My eyes were drawn to the long cloth that hung on the chair, I grabbed it and
brought it into my room. In the midst of silence, the question arose in my mind, would it be
better if I had never been in this world? I hung the cloth in front of the room window and
wrote something in my diary.
I wanted to commit suicide.
Good bye.
Dad, I'm coming.
My diary was thrown roughly and my head suddenly felt very heavy. I strangled the
pain while holding it. There were a lot of faces and a series of events that suddenly revolved
like a movie in my mind. A few seconds later, my eyes flashed open. Drizzling sweat wets
my body.
I'm awake. I accidentally realized that at that moment, I was supposed to lose my
memory. Until one day, I opened this diary and read this page.
I remember. I was a victim of negotiations at school too, just as I am now. My mother
was an angry parent who always demanded me to be perfect, just as it is happening in my
world today.
My neck swung. I realized that the writing of the negative idea was identical to the
book I read before all these events.
My bad intentions to end my life blew up, and carefully, I put that cloth back where it
was. My mind is complicated. I don't know where I am now. Who am I?
Ding! Dong!
Suddenly, the room was filled with bells that broke the silence. The vibration sounds
like a magical touch. I peeked out of the window. How shocked I was to see Langit standing
in front of my door.
Ding! Dong!
Doors of my house are wide open, and I look at Langit with eyes that I can't explain
myself.
The young man stared at me, his lips were shaking and he said a word.
"Sorry."
The voice of Langit apologizing tears my heart. I stared at her, wondering why he
didn't believe me at that time. My chest feels sick, like a thousand thorns are stinging.
"I'm sorry, Manika," he said again. With eyes full of tears, Langit apologized while
hugging me tightly.
I'm kneeling and holding my ass.
"It's okay, Langit. I'm so glad you're back. I don't think I'll see you again."
"Don't say that! I stupidly believe in Dea and her friends. I won't be like that again!"
Langit said, holding my two shoulders.
I smiled widely while staring at her face deep down.
"Let's solve all these problems, Langit. Starting with why you weren't at school today,
you bunked school?”
"I woke up late this morning," replied Langit with a slight shake.
We sat together in the living room, drinking tea together. The existence Langit is able
to heal my heart wound, slowly making my feelings recover. I stared, feeling sure that as long
as Langit was in my life, everything would go well.
"Do you know? I saw you hanging a cloth in the window of your room from afar," he
said in panic.
I smiled loosely while licking my neck.
"Ah, I didn't realize you saw it.”
Langit shakes his head strongly. "You can rely on me if the world is too hard for you,
Manika."
"But you weren't with me, Langit," I answered quickly.
Again, Langit shakes his head, moves his thick hair. Langit replied, "I'm asking the
school to show CCTV when my wallet is missing."
"Isn't our classroom CCTV not on?" My question was confused.
"Yes, that's what the students of the school know, but the fact is that all the CCTVs in
the school are on. And you know? It turns out Dea put my wallet in your bag. Now Dea and
her friend are being suspended for allegedly involving theft, bullying, and flogging sheep,"
clearly ended with a sigh of thirst.
"It's a pity, but I'm happy too."
In the afternoon, cheerful laughter filled the living room, we both spent our time
together. Langit realizes I'm having a fever. With all his kindness, he bought me medicine
and some food. Before I go home, Langit reminds me to rest when he comes back. As he
stretched out his hand, the steps of Langit moving away made a smile appear on my face, and
I contemplated the goodness that he had given me. With a warm heart, I locked the door and
returned to my room, bringing all the food gifts from Langit .
Drop a piece of paper from that food pile with a message on it.
Get better soon, Manika. If you need help, let me know.
A smile is carved on my face. I put food in front of my window. I saw Langit still
waiting in front of my house, and he waved kindly towards me. I responded by pulling my
right eye with my index finger while extending my tongue, and smiling. Langit laughed, then
gasped on his motorcycle to go home.
I took the fever pills that Langit gave to me, and a sensation of drowsiness started
covering my eyes. With a sleepy step, I walked toward the bed, drawing the blanket gently,
and without waiting any longer, I immediately fell asleep in deep sleep.

Part 5
Dream. I dreamt that I had finally found my place to rest. I could feel the lightness of
my mind and the warmth of my heart. There was someone who finally embraced me, cared
for me, and loved me. In the past, I had felt this. It feels like a long time ago, I don't
remember it anymore. In the past, this warmth always wrapped around me when all the bad
things happened to me. This warmth always took care of me, cared for me gently, kissed my
forehead, held my hand. The sweet words of this warmth made me smile cheerfully, leaving
all the burdens I thought about.
Dream. I was in the courtyard of my house. Standing silently looking at my once
warm house. Seeing my house where I used to run, playing in puddles when the rain had
stopped, running barefoot enjoying the warm grass exposed to the sun, lying down and
closing my eyes while waiting for my mom to cook the food that would be eaten during a
picnic in this yard with dad.
Yes, dad. That warm feeling that I've been telling you about all this time is my father.
In the past, he would always take care of me, caress me gently, kiss my forehead, hold my
hand. Sweet words from my father also made me smile cheerfully, leaving behind all the
burdens that I had been thinking about. This page is a silent witness to the warmth I once felt,
before the tragedy happened.
I shouldn't have complained when I was bullied. I should've had the courage to fight
back against those people who bullied me. I shouldn't have dropped in rank just because I
was bullied. I should've been stronger. I shouldn't have spoken up. I should've kept quiet. I
should've been the one who got hit. I should've died. Should've, should've, should've....
SHOULD'VE SHOULD'VE SHOULD'VE-
“Manika?”
Humming. I know that tone of voice. I know that intonation. I know the warmth of
that voice. I know who he is.
“Dad?”
The figure of the man that now stands in front of me. The figure of a man with a
sweet face when he smiles. The figure of a man who already has creases at the ends of his
eyes. The figure of a man who has a thin mustache adorning his face. The figure of a man
whose hair has been decorated with pale white strands. The figure of the man I always call
'Dad'.
My bare feet approached my dad quietly. I was afraid that he was just fragile dust,
which would be taken away again by the wind. I slowly approached him while holding out
my hand. I still couldn't believe it. I saw the dad I had missed for so long.
"Dad, is it really you?" I held back my emotions. My lips trembled uncontrollably.
My eyes blinked, always wanting to release the water that was dammed up. My right hand
trembled to touch my father's cheek slowly. I felt it. I followed it with my left hand. I felt all
the curves of my dad's face. My hand released the feelings of loss that were building up in my
heart. My eyes can't take it anymore.
I felt my dad's soft palm touching the back of my right hand. I felt my dad's gentle tug
that took me into his arms. This warmth and fragrance that I had longed for finally paid off. I
cried. Letting go of all that I've been holding in. Everything that stabbed and made my chest
tight. All the bitter memories that have always hindered my life. Everything, everything I let
out.
My dad's hand stroked my mane and dug deep into my scalp. His chin rested on my
mane for a moment and then his body lowered slightly to look at my face. Both of my dad's
hands supported my head as his thumbs slowly wiped away my tears. My voice, which had
been unstoppable, began to shrink. I tried to calm myself down and looked into my dad's
brown eyes that were exposed to the sun.
"Are you well?" was what I heard from my dad. I nodded back with a smile as I
laughed a little and sighed.
"I'm well, Dad," I said back.
"I'm sorry, dear, I can't be with you now. You're on your own now, aren't you?" My
dad stroked my hair lightly with a smile.
"Yes, dad. I'm on my own now..."
"You are strong, my daughter is always strong, my daughter is sweet, smart and
beautiful. I always love you wherever you are. I will always see you from here, from this
distance. I'm always there for you," he said softly.
"No, dad! I should be the one who is sorry! Because of me, you're like this, it
should've been me at that time! That should've been my position! You shouldn't be here, you
should be with mom! DAD SHOULD HAVE BEEN AL-" my mouth was shut by my dad's
pointer.
"No one can predict it, dear. Manika, don't let what happened to your father
traumatize you. Forget all the bad memories about it and remember everything that makes
you comfortable, okay?"
"Dad, I miss you. I'm scared. I don't want to wake up anymore. I want to be with you
always. Daddy, please, take me with you, okay?" I pleaded.
Slowly, my father placed his left knee on the grass of this courtyard and smiled as he
looked at me.
"You still have a long story to live, dear. Don't waste this life, okay? There are people
who will always wait for you from now on," he said.
“Who?”
“Langit, his name’s Langit, right?”
Langit. Yes, Langit has always stayed with me. The warmth that I will eventually
always find again is with Langit. The warmth that I found was like the warmth of my dad's
love.
"Don't meet your father too soon. Keep fighting now with Langit. I will always watch
over you from here."
Slowly, my dad's grasp loosened. My dad is fading away little by little. Dad wanted to
leave again, to go far away from me again. But this time, I know that my dad will still look at
me no matter how far the universe separates us. I let it go now. I let him go with peace of
mind and a smile now.
Dream. That's what I dreamed earlier. I finally had a good dream again. In the middle
of the night, I picked up my diary. I carried it over to my study table and sat myself down on
my study chair. I opened the last page that I filled in before. I took my pen and wrote
something.
-Dad, i’m coming–
I will keep fighting from now on.
Thankfully, i’m still alive.

Epilog
Blind in the morning, she, Manika Rahayu, wakes up. Her eyes were looking at the
whole room.
Night grey clouds are still clumping up there. With flashes of light starting to emerge
from the east side of the earth. The moon's still shining. It's not gonna disappear. Waiting for
the sun's presence even if it's just a moment to meet. Then the moon is ready to disappeared.
That's the story of their encounter, the sun and the moon. Like this girl's meeting with
yesterday. No one would have thought, in the midst of the night, time was running. Hour by
hour, minute by minute, and second by second. Until in a few seconds, the day changed. The
day will be better than yesterday.
It's not just the saying that today is a better day than yesterday. Because, anyway,
we're going to live moving forward, not backwards.
But, Manika is sure. She's just been through her past life. She changed her own story.
Is that possible? No, that's not what you're supposed to think.
Manika Rahayu, she recovered from her past trauma. She has seen her past life by
entering her own diary. Faced with trauma again, it's not an easy thing for many people to do.
Until this morning. Her eyes strangled around the corner of the room, and she threw
her eyes at the book she used as a pillow a few hours ago. The book's split pages, indicate
there's a gore written there.
Thankfully, i’m still alive.
Her lips were smiling as she read the sentence in her heart. His hand moves to close
the diary. After being completely closed, Manika realizes there's something weird about her
favorite book.
It's out-of-date. The book appears to be duller than the last time—yesterday—she
touched it. Her back hand moves open the book. The expression of gratitude is still the same
in that place.
Her hand started turning the next page.
There's another inscription on it.
Dear Diary.
November 13, 2021.
Today I'm playing with Langit and working in groups with him.
My hands are back on the page in the book.
Dear Diary.
December 20, 2021.
Today I didn't think Dea, Sita, and Mira apologized to me. They're chasing my friends right
now. And of course, it's all with the help of Langit. Really, I'm so grateful to you, Langit.
On the other page,
Dear Diary.
March 16, 2022.
Rain! I didn't expect it to rain today. But you know? My friends don't bring an umbrella
either! So we were raining together! Hahaha! As you know, Diary, Sita had a run-down.
Her eyelids didn't blink at all. There's a smile on her lips. The lymphatic fluid started
filling her eye with fertilizer.
Her hand moves again, opens the next page.
Dear diary.
Today, June 18th, 22.
I'm graduating tomorrow! I'm gonna wear Mommy's crafted kebaya.
That was the last sentence in the diary. For a moment, Manika was silent, and then her
head nodded, looking at the numbers on the calendar in front of her.
Sunday, June 19, 2022.
"REALLY?! I'm graduating today!" she screamed suddenly.
Along with Manika's screaming, there was a sound of the room door knocking. A few
seconds later, the door button turned. The door's open. There's a middle-aged woman behind
the door.
"Manika, are you awake? Let's get ready. Today you have a graduation ceremony.
Don't be late," she said with a warm smile.
Manika is silent. Looking at the woman entering her room and scanning the wardrobe,
pulling out some sets of kebaya.
"You're wearing these beads, yeah? It's great, you know? Mom made it. Or do you
want to put on another one?" She asked, showing the girl some of the kebaya.
Manika verticalized her own spleen. As she smiled, he dared to ask.
"Why did you change?"
The middle-aged woman freezes for a moment. Our eyes met. Soon she returned to
normal behavior with a clumsy smile.
"What do you mean, honey?"
Manika stood up, dragging her legs closer to her mother. Then she turned away from
the woman, lifted her back clothes. It shows a scar she got from a past wound.
The girl remembers very well. When she was 12 years old, her mother poured hot
water on her back. Not to mention some of the wounds that her mother used to hit Manika.
Hang on. There was no sound coming out of the room until weeping broke the silence.
"You... remember, honer?" Tell her mother quietly. Her eyebrows were wet because
of the tears that were continually leaking out of her eyelids.
Slowly, the woman's hand turned around Manika's body, hugging her tightly.
"Sorry, I'm sorry, Manika..., because of me you lost your memory. Because of me,
you're depressed, because of me, you almost killed your-."
The girl's hand closed her mother's mouth. The moon is beautifully carved on her lips,
looking shiny. Her eyes also started tearing.
"Mum, I'm gonna wear the kebaya you made."
There's no more conversation, just the crying noise that fills up until a few minutes
later.
Looks lousy and exaggerated, isn't it? But that’s her story. Manika Rahayu. A 17-
year-old girl who grew beautiful and strong from her past wounds. She wants to convey to us
that she's not the weak girl she used to be.
Manika realized, she's been out of the book. Like skipping time, the rest of the day at
school she faced happily with her friends. And the days in the house after her incident, when
she almost committed suicide, she faced with a more open mind.
Her mother, a woman who once tortured her at home, has changed. And that's for
Manika, the only daughter. From this story, we learn that things that are impossible to change
may actually be changed, only by fighting the problems faced with positive thinking and
ways.
Humans are always troubled. Therefore, Manika Rahayu rose. Because she knows.
She's not an ordinary girl who's going to follow the course of her side that's taking her in the
negative direction. She realized, he could shine more than that.
It's eight o'clock in the morning. Manika Rahayu arrived at the place of her
graduation. Go ahead with his graduation ceremony. And then, a few hours later, the show's
over. She's gathered with her friends. Celebrating the last moment before everything's busy
moving on to a higher level.
A photographer is ready with a camera in his hand. His mouth moves.
"One! Two! Three!"
"Good bye, guys! We'll meet next time, yeah!"
