OPERATION PROCESS
CHART
Represents the sequence of operations to be
performed on a component. It gives a bird's-eye
view of the various operations, inspections, and
storage done in sequence for all the
components that go into a particular product or
assembly.
TRAVEL CHART
Is a square tabular representation that
shows the movement of workers,
materials, and equipment numerically
between each work station.
CHARTS
FLOW PROCESS CHART
Is a diagram that shows the sequential steps of a
process and the decisions needed to make the process
work. Within the chart/visual representation, every step
is indicated by a shape. These shapes are connected by
lines and arrows to show the movement and direction of
the process.
TWO HANDED PROCESS MULTIPLE ACTIVITY

Is a process chart in which the activities of a used to show the interrelationships of
worker's hands. (or limbs) are recorded in their individuals in teams of workers, or the
relationship to one another. This chart is used to relationships between workers and equipment,
improve the motion sequence of an operator. usually during the record stage of Method
Study.
STRING DIAGRAM
Is a scale layout drawing on which, length of the
string is used to record the extent as well as the
pattern of the movement of a worker working
within a limited area during a certain period of
time.
MAN-MACHINE
CHART
graphically represents the relationship between
the cycle time of the operator (worker) and the
operating cycle of the machine or other work
facilities are handled by the worker.
