2. This exam is going to be conducted through CBRT (Computer Based Response Test). You will have to appear in this exam at your own expense.
3. Your admission to this examination is granted subject to the accuracy of the details in the application form filled online and the undertaking issued
thereunder.
4. If the educational qualification, age, caste, gender or any other information mentioned in the application form is found by the competent authority to
be wrong/defective at any stage in future, then your candidature/selection will be canceled by the board/competent authority. Take special note of
that.
5. To appear in this examination you have to download this admit card and appear in the allotted examination hall along with its print copy within the
given time limit.
6. Candidates have to be present at the time of reporting at the examination centre. Under no circumstances will the candidate be admitted to the
examination after the gate closing time. Hence, be present on time and do not have any kind of argument with the examination staff regarding this
matter.
7. In the following attendance sheet, your signature should be done in the presence of the room invigilator in the examination hall and after the
signature of the room invigilator, the candidate should keep this admit card with himself. The candidate has to produce this admit card in original as it
is demanded at various stages of recruitment. Hence, this admit card should be kept carefully by the candidate till the complete recruitment process is
completed.
8. The instructions for the included candidates have to be carefully read and strictly followed.

- : Instructions for Candidates :-
( Candidates are advised to read and implement all these instructions.)
1 This exam will be conducted through CBRT (Computer Based Response Test). The correct answer has to be marked (Encode) by clicking on the
computer screen with the mouse. Technical information regarding the examination will be given by the technical team in the examination hall (Computer
Lab). The question paper of this exam will be of MCQ-Multiple Choice Question type. Candidates have to get information about the method of this exam
by clicking on the mock test link posted on the website of the association. Candidates can practice mock test more than once.
2 Total 100 questions are kept in this exam pattern. There will be a total of 100 marks in the paper for each question of 01 marks. The total time allotted for
answering all these questions is 1 hour (60 minutes).
3 In the MCQ type Computer Based Response Test (CBRT) conducted by the association, four options will be given below the question to find the correct
answer to each question. Out of which the candidate has to choose the correct answer. 0.25 Marks (Negative Marks) will be deducted for selecting the
wrong answer to the question. 0.25 marks will not be deducted in case the candidate does not select any option for answering the question.
4 To verify the identity of the candidate, it is mandatory to bring any one of the following identity documents: (1) Aadhaar Card (2) Voter Photo Identity Card
(3) Driving License (4) Passport (5) PAN Card for admission to the examination center. Any other credentials other than this will not be considered valid.
In case of change of name in online admit card and identity card of married women candidates they have to produce admit card, identity card and original
marriage registration certificate. In case of absence of marriage registration certificate, married female candidate has to produce original affidavit
regarding change of name.
5 The candidate will be asked to go through two-layer frisking at the entry point by the security personnel at the examination center and they will ensure
that you are not carrying any prohibited items inside the examination centre. Then physical freeskiing will be done. Candidates are advised not to wear
metal ornaments. Candidates will not under any circumstances be allowed to enter the examination hall after gate closing time. Candidates should take
special note of this.
6 If you do not fulfill the educational qualification, age limit etc. as mentioned in the advertisement then as per this notification you are advised not to
appear in this examination.
7 Divyang (PH) Candidates who are not able to appear for CBRT examination on their own due to Visual Impairment and Hand Disability who require
additional time or writing facility as per the rules, by considering the instructions posted on the website of the Board in advance, the required supporting
evidence (Civil (Certificate of prescribed model of surgeon) with approval of the Board or an authority authorized by the Board shall be eligible for
sanction of grace or additional time. No concession or extension of time shall be granted unless sanctioned. The detailed instructions placed on the
website of the association in this regard have to be seen.
8 Candidates should not bring valuables to the examination centre. Waist belt, wallet and any metal items are not allowed to be brought in the examination
hall. It will not be the responsibility of the Mandal/Centre Administrator to safeguard the belongings of the candidates. Hence, candidates have to keep
personal belongings including mobile phones outside the examination center at their own risk.
9 Carrying the following items into the examination center is strictly prohibited. (1) Any stationery item such as text material (printed or handwritten), notes,
plastic pouches, calculators, writing pads, pencil-rubber etc. (Can be kept with plain pen). (2) Any other electronic gadgets of information communication
including any electronic device like mobile phone, bluetooth, earphone, microphone, simple or digital wrist watch, health band, calculator, electronic
pen/scanner, spy camera, pen-drive etc. (3) Other items like goggles, handbag, cap, belt etc. (4) Any edible item opened or packed, soft drinks, colored
water bottles etc. (Can be kept with a simple transparent bottle of drinking water)
10 Candidates must maintain complete silence during the examination and must not engage in any kind of internal conversation or discussion. If it is done,
action will be taken as per the rules. Do not engage in any kind of mis-discipline during the examination with the officer/employee involved in the conduct
of the examination.
11 The Gujarat Government has implemented the Gujarat Public Examination (Prevention of Unfair Means) Act, 2023 from March, 2023 to deal with
malpractices in public examinations and question papers being leaked. Gujarat Secondary Service Selection Board is also included in the said Act as
"examination authority", since all competitive examinations conducted by the Board are to be treated as Public Examinations, the said Act is also
applicable in board examinations. Hence, in the said examination, if any candidate is found violating the provisions of Gujarat Public Examination
(Prevention of Unfair Means) Act, 2023 and is found guilty, legal action will be taken against him as mentioned in the Act.
12 Your candidature for this test is provisional. Candidate's eligibility is not checked before this examination. This admit card is issued solely on the basis of
the details filled by you in the online application form, which is subject to detailed scrutiny and if any discrepancy is found at any stage of recruitment or
you do not meet the eligibility/criteria mentioned in the detailed advertisement, your candidature will be cancelled.
13 Mandatory biometric capture of the candidate will be done on the day of examination. This will include finger scanning and Irish scanning.
14 Action will be taken against the candidate tampering with the computer set, keyboard, mouse or any other device in the examination hall.
15 As regards the conduct of the examination, the decision of the Center Administrator shall be final and binding.

17 Legal action as per the rules will be taken against the candidate who does not follow the instructions mentioned herein or the instructions issued later or
is responsible for any illegal act during the examination.
18 Pursuant to the advertisement, if any candidate is found to have given the examination more than once by filling more than one application form, legal
action will be taken by disqualifying such candidate.
19 Since the finger scanning of every candidate appearing in this examination will be done, if henna or any other substance has been used in the hand, it
may cause difficulty in capturing the finger image and as a result, the candidate may be prevented from sitting the examination. To avoid this, the
candidate is advised not to apply henna or any other substance on the fingernails.
20 On completion of the examination, the candidate shall leave the examination hall only after the room invigilator asks to leave the examination hall.
21 Blank paper will be provided separately for rough work. Hence, the candidate should not do rough work or any other unnecessary writing anywhere on the
top or back of the admit card. After the completion of the examination, the room inspector will verify the admit card of each candidate, if any candidate
has done such an act, action will be taken against them as per the rules.
