Re: Distribution of the Term 1 Report Cards

Dear Parents/Guardians,

Later today you will receive an electronic copy of your child’s Term 1 Report Card
through EDSBY. Please find instructions on how to access your child’s report
below. You should save this report card for your own records.

Using the Edsby platform for report cards provides a number of advantages:
1. You can now easily view this report with all of your other communications right in
the Edsby platform.
2. We are able to save a significant amount of paper by limiting the printing of paper
copies of the report.
3. Moving forward, you will have future report cards stored in Edsby for easy
viewing and safekeeping right up until your child leaves our school board.

Instructions to view report cards:

1. Log into Edsby at https://dcdsb.edsby.com
2. Scroll down the left side and click the “View Report Cards” button below your
child’s classes

If you forgot your password:

1. Go to https://dcdsb.edsby.com
2. Click “Forgot Password” at the bottom of the screen
3. Enter your email address in the box
4. Click continue
5. An email will now be sent to your email address with a reset password link
(please check your junk/spam folder if you do not receive the email).
If you get an error message when trying to reset your password or you do not have an
Edsby account, please contact the school office for assistance.
