OPERATION PHILOSOPHY OF ROTARY DIVERTER:-

Once in the plant there is a common raw material rotary diverter A3-H-05, to feed different solid raw
material to their corresponding bin A3-V-01 A/B/C/D. Each bin is equipped with a vibrating bin activa-
tor Dedusting air suction with valve interlocked with the positioner of raw material rotary diverter and
air knocker to prevent arching inside the bin and isolating gate . The level inside the bin is controlled
by weight load cells, which convert the weight indication into level percentage.

Rotary diverter operation is both in manual and auto, the mode will be selected in the DCS/ local , if is
in auto mode the diverter will position to the respective bin selected with the indication vide limit
switch locally as well as in DCS to ensure diverter position to respective bin. It can be also operated
in manually by switching to manual mode of level of bin.

High level switches tag no. (LAHH-A3-0103) will actuate at high level of the bin (Weight converted in
to level), which will trip the feeding conveyor (A3-H-01) . Interlock tag no. (I - 0105).

After filling up the said bins other bins are filled up as and when required with the same operation.
