Crochet pattern „Snail-race“
If you use cotton yarn with a yardage of 100y/50g (90m/50g) and a hook size 3.5, the field will become approx. 37
cm long and 22 cm wide and the snails will become about 7 cm big.

The size will deviate if you use different yarn or hook and it also depends on how tight you crochet. I
always use a smaller hook size than recommended on the yarn-label, so that the stitches become tighter.

Field:
The field is crocheted with double crochets in rows. At the end of each row a turning chain stitch is
necessary. For every vertical line you use a separate yarn (approx. 4m length each), that you don’t have to
work it in. The colours of the start- and finish-fields should match with the colour-cube you want to use for
playing. (there are different colour cubes available!)
