SOCIO-ECONOMIC ASPECT

This section of the study highlights how the business can contribute to society and
the government in the future. It demonstrates that businesses do not exist solely for
profit-making purposes but also to improve the welfare of people.

I. For the Employment and its Income

Nowadays, many new businesses are emerging, however, the

unemployment rate remains high, which is having a significant impact on the
local economy. Sweet Escape is aware of this issue and plans to hire staff
once the business becomes successful, which could be after several months
or a year. The main objective of the business is to provide stable employment
opportunities and a reliable source of income for local residents. By doing so,
Sweet Escape hopes to improve the financial stability of households in the
area.

II. For the Government

The government benefits greatly from business owners, who pay taxes on
a quarterly basis. The collected taxes generate income for the government,
which is used to support social services and develop infrastructure for the
residents, thereby contributing to the economic growth of the town.

III. For the Community

The local community can benefit from the business as it provides job
opportunities for residents. The business also follows proper waste disposal
methods and separates recycled materials for future use. Additionally, the
 products offered are affordable and satisfying, especially since Filipinos have
a love for sweets.
IV. For Social Implication
Since Filipinos love eating sweets, access to sweets and treats offered by
Sweet Escape can contribute to the overall quality of life for residents of Agno
by providing a source of enjoyment. Indulging in sweets can uplift spirits,
promote relaxation, and create memorable experiences for individuals and
families.
V. For the Environment
We acknowledge that our packaging, particularly the plastic round tubs, is
not very eco-friendly. However, we want to assure you that they can be
recycled and reused. On the other hand, we also use paper packaging which
is eco-friendly and does not contribute to polluting the environment.
