LETTER OF WARRANTY

Electra Cables (Aust.) Pty. Limited wishes to advise that all cables manufactured and distributed by
Electra Cables (Aust.) Pty. Limited come with a 12 month warranty effective from the date of
purchase, provided that such cables are handled and installed as per the requirements specified in
the relevant Australian and New Zealand standards of installation.
Any cables that may be defective or damaged will be replaced promptly after further investigation.

Exclusions and Indemnity

a) As specified in Section 7 and all subsections of Electra Cables (Aust.) Pty Limited standard terms
and conditions.

b) Any claim will be subject to inspection and all cables will only be covered for manufacturing faults
and not installation methods or inappropriate selection according to the current versions of
AS/NZS 3000, AS/NZS 3008 (Wiring Rules) or any subsequent installation regulation or standard.
This includes the addition of paint, sealing products, adhesives, normal storage (see below) or
alteration to the initial condition and/or design of installation not outlined in either AS/NZS 3000,
AS/NZS 3008, or the appropriate manufacturing standard of said cable.

c) Electra Cables considers “normal storage” as (i) Undercover out of sunlight, (ii) Off the ground, (iii)
Dry location. This also includes cable drums to which can be used to wind cable on to or off, or to
which were originally supplied with the cable.
