ABSTRACT
The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of Miracle Ointment
as an organic ointment for treating wounds. The How, what, and Why of the research
questions about the ointment's effectiveness were addressed in this study paper.
Furthermore, the objective of this study was to produce an organic wound ointment using
Moringa Oleifera. In order to gather data for the study, the researchers provided
observation sheets to the Junior High School Students at Don Antonio De Zuzuarregui Sr.
Memorial Academy to examine students with minor wounds such as cuts and scratches.
This study used Purposive Sampling to select respondents to participate in this study and
observation sheets with questionnaires were used to collects the data. Quantitative
Experimental Design was used to this study to conduct trials. The study concluded that the
successfully achieved in the end with the participation of the selected respondents.
Furthermore, no negative effects occurred so it was proven that using Miracle Ointment

“The Philippines is the mainstream of herbal medicine” (Lazarte C., 2020)1. The
most typical thing that Filipinos usually do is use herbal remedies to cure wounds. Often

have been updated and are nearly complete. However, the majority of these were
chemically derived drugs that might cause adverse reactions. Some of the students also
have wounds that do not require chemical-based items and can be treated with herbal
remedies. To address this, the researchers advise creating Moringa Oleifera ointment, later

Cell migration is one of the most important phase of wound healing. Plant extracts
have been used on cell migration using a scratch experiment. Thus, the efficacy of Moringa
Oleifera in the study evaluated how Moringa Oleifera leaf extract can affect migration of
cells in the RPE cell line. In the study, it is found that ethanolic Moringa Oleifera extracts
greatly helped the stimulation of cell migration towards the artificially created scratch. The
cytotoxic effects of plant extracts were also test using MTT. The cytotoxic evaluation can
be used to determine the biological and healing value of plant material. In our test, Moringa

extracts for 48 hours, RPE cells maintained a 91-99% viability rate, however Huh-7 cancer

Followed by chapter three that discussed the Methodology used in the study. The
researchers decided what methods to use regarding the research design, sampling method
and the methodology itself. The researchers also did the experimentation of the product

somehow met the expectation. The researchers also thought of doing a third trial but
decided not to because of the satisfaction in the second trial. The production of the guided

And Lastly, the final defense, which occurred at the conclusion of a research study,
is an important step in assessing the comprehensiveness of the study. All aspects of the
research are evaluated for accuracy and completeness, beginning with the development
phases and concluding with the findings. The methodology is carefully evaluated in order
to make sure it fits the objectives of the study and sufficiently relates to the research

RESEARCH INSTRUMENT
This study used survey, observation sheet, and interview questions and is used to
observe and determine the Junior Highschool Students insights and wounds that are
qualified in the study of using the Moringa Oleifera as Ointment. The survey is use to
determine the type of wounds that the respondents have to qualify in the given criteria. The
observation sheet is developed based on the 5 days given time to observe the wound. It
consists of 21 questions. Interview questions are used to allow respondents to give insights
about the Ointment. The researchers used the prepared instruments to gather the data of the
observation sheet contains questions that determine effects of the Moringa Oleifera
CHAPTER IV
ANALYSIS AND INTERPRETATION OF DATA
The results, analysis, and compilation of data from participant results in the
observation sheet and photo documentation are presented in this chapter. The information
acquired will be examined and evaluated in order to ascertain Miracle Ointment's efficacy
in treating wounds.
RESPONDENTS
The data that was gathered from this chapter correlates to the statement of the
problem and the objective of the study which makes them relevant to the research. The data
was collected and interpreted during the process of this chapter. A total of 11 respondents
was gathered to answer the observation sheet and to provide photo documentation. To test
the Miracle Ointment, the 11 respondents was given 5 days to test the Mircale Ointment to
determine its effectiveness in wounds. The researchers handed out the Miracle Ointment
to each participant, together with the waiver and parental consent that will be signed by the
respondents to be a proof that if the miracle ointment would cause skin irritations, the
researchers will not be responsible for it. Also, the participants were asked to document

CONCLUSION
The researchers concluded all respondents just have minor wounds. For students
with sensitive skin, using Miracle Ointment which is herbal instead of highly chemically
formulated therapies has advantage. It is well known that powdered Moringa Oléifera leaf
extract works well as a natural wound treatment. Because it promotes collagen production
and repairs skin cells, coconut oil is great for healing wounds. Beeswax is a crucial
ingredient in ointment since it gives it structure and texture. The researchers agreed that
the intended responders would be young students, namely those aged 12 to 16 years old,
because they can supply the information that the researchers need. The respondents'
wounds are minor, and it is critical that they use Miracle ointment, which is organic and
does not include chemicals. The researchers have proven that the Miracle ointment as an
organic ointment for treating wounds is effective, it helped the wound to dry, hastening the
healing process with the help of its natural antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties,
helps remove the scab of a wound in a safe way, and did not cause any side effects.
Recommendations
This study recommends for Future Researchers, Students, Teachers who will be focusing
on the same study or is connected in this research. It's important to take note of this to
elaborate more on the evidence and capacity of Moringa Oleifera as an Ointment for
wounds.

CONSENT LETTER
Dear Parents,
We, the researchers of Grade 12 Stem Saint Augustine, would like to invite your
Son/Daughter to be our respondents in the study of “The Effectiveness of Moringa
Oleifera as an Organic Ointment for wound treatment.” The researchers aim to treat
your child's wounds using the Moringa Oleifera ointment. We ensure that every ointment
component was natural and organic and did not use ingredients that could aggravate your
child's wound. Our research advisers observed and guided this product while making it.
Your child will use the Moringa Ointment twice a day, and an observation sheet will be
provided to them. The observation sheet contains questions that will be answered in the
span of 5 days. Your child will be required to cooperate and promise to provide the
following:
• Photo documentation while using the product for observation purposes. (Via
Messenger)
• Answers for the observation sheet that will be handed out by the researchers.
The possibility of wound aggravation may occur while using the ointment. Your child will
be required to stop using the ointment if skin irritation occurs during the 5 days of using it.
Understand that the researchers will not be accountable if the wound gets worse and do not
hold any responsibility for the child's wound. Your child can use code names and will
remain private if they want to. We rest assured that your child's information will remain
private and will not be used in public matters.
