Have A Right Christmas Before Lord Comes!

The Lord Jesus Christ came to this world
about 2000 years ago. His arrival details were
continually announced over centuries. The Lord
was born in Bethlehem of Judea. The stable of an
inn was the only place that was available, at that
time, for the child Jesus as His birth place. That
was the Gods plan with a purpose. Mary and
Joseph could find only that ill-smelling stable,
where the cattle were fed. The child was wrapped
in strips of cloth and was laid in a manger.
Thus the first advent of Jesus began in a
manger of Bethlehem and ended up on the cross
of Calvary. What advantage is there to anyone
from such a person whose birth and death were
so poor and shocking? Indeed, it is not beneficial

to anybody unless one knows what it is and why

it is. Paul declared, For the preaching of the
cross is to them that perish foolishness; but
unto us which are saved it is the power of
God (1 Cor. 1:18). Jesus was conceived in the
womb of virgin Mary by the Holy Spirit. The
angel said to her, Dont be afraid, Mary; God
has been gracious to you. You will become
pregnant and give birth to a son, and you will
name him Jesus. He will be great and will be
called the Son of the Most High God . The
Holy Spirit will come on you, and Gods power
will rest upon you. For this reason the holy
child will be called the Son of God. (Luke
1:30-35, GNB). Jesus Himself declared that He

is not from the world, like the people of the earth,

but He is from heaven. But he continued, You
are from below; I am from above. You are of
this world; I am not of this world (John 8:23NIV).
The birth of Jesus in a smelling stable: what
does it teach the created being of our planet?
Mans heart is like that ill-smelling stable. The
Bible says, The heart is deceitful above all
things, and desperately wicked: who can know
it? (Jer. 17:9). The Lord Jesus Christ said, For
out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders,
adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness,
blasphemies (Matt. 15:19). In one word, it is a
sinful heart. For all have sinned, and come
short of the glory of God (Rom. 3:23). God
looked down from heaven upon the children
of men, to see if there were any that did
understand, that did seek God. Every one of
them is gone back: they are altogether become
filthy; there is none that doeth good, no, not
one (Ps. 53:2-3).
The Lord Jesus Christ came to this world
as a Saviour. He is God, but to become our
Saviour, He took upon Himself the form of flesh.
And without controversy great is the mystery
of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh,
justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached
unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world,
received up into glory (1 Tim. 3:16). Jesus
means Saviour, Christ means Anointed One or
Messiah. When the Messiah came to the manger,
he came to tell all the people that He is willing to

come to the heart of any sinner whose sins might

smell awful and send him to the hell fire, under
Gods eternal judgment. Like the smelly stable,
even though our hearts are awful before God, He
is willing to enter into our hearts as our Saviour.
To show this truth, the Saviour came to the stable.
The Lord will accept anyone who really seeks
Him and receives Him as his personal Saviour
through repentance.
Around the world, people joyfully celebrate
Christmas on 25th December every year. They
remember the birth of the Saviour in the
Bethlehems stable. Such remembrances will not
help anyone. The Bible warns, only when Jesus
is born in our heart we can celebrate Christmas.
Jesus will come to our heart only after we seek
Him through repentance. In repentance, a man
takes a U-turn in his life. He will enter into an
experience that begins like this: Therefore if any
man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old
things are passed away; behold, all things are
become new (2 Cor. 5:17). The Bible says a
repentant man is he who uncovered his sins before
God by confession, and by showing a willing heart
to forsake them. He that covereth his sins shall
not prosper: but whoso confesseth and
forsaketh them shall have mercy (Prov.
28:13).
The ministry of Lord Jesus Christ started
with the preaching of repentance. From that
time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent:
for the kingdom of heaven is at hand (Matt.
4:17). The last thing He spoke before His

ascension to heaven was about repentance. And

that repentance and remission of sins should
be preached in his name among all nations,
beginning at Jerusalem (Luke 24:47).
Throughout His ministry, he went on stressing the
need for repentance. He told about a rich man
who died and went to hell all because he was
ignorant of repentance (Luke16: 19-31). Jesus
will come into a sinners heart only when He sees
his genuine repentance. He comes in Spirit to live
in him. That is why the Bible declares, But ye
are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be
that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if
any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is
none of his (Rom. 8:9). Without this genuinely
needed experience, celebration of Christmas is
to destroy oneself.
Similarly the death of Jesus Christ on the
cross and the precious blood He shed for the
remission of sins will not help anybody unless the
man makes the full payment for it. That payment
is not made by silver and gold or righteous works.
Our good works cannot meet the standards of
God that He should come down and stay in our
hearts. The Bible tells, But we are all as an
unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are
as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf;
and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken
us away (Isa. 64:6). God says in Isaiah 55:1
that we are invited to the Gods provision of
Salvation when we show Him a consciousness of
need and humbleness and repentance, and that is
the price a man has to pay. If it is not so paid by
man, Salvation will never come to him. Without

such experience of Salvation, the celebration of

Christmas is nothing but mocking God and the
devil encourages people for that. Are you a
Christmas Christian or a born-again Christian?
(John 3:3). Jesus Christ is not 25th December
God. He Himself declared, I am Alpha and
Omega, the first and the last (Rev. 1:11). When
Jesus washes a stable-like heart of a man with
His own precious blood, He comes to stay in him
as per 1 Corinthians 3:16, Know ye not that
ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit
of the God dwelleth in you? When this
happens, it becomes the Christmas day of that
man and God wants him to celebrate that
Christmas always, till his last breath.
King Herod asked the Magi (wise men)
who were following a star to inform him where
Jesus was born, so that he too may go and worship
Him (Matt. 2:8). Herods heart was not truly
seeking for worship of Jesus. In fact, he wanted
death to Jesus. The people who want to celebrate
Christmas without Jesus living in and through them
are like Herod, false worshipers. After celebration
of many such Christmas festivals, they will simply
go to hell. Jesus came into this world not for
merry-making Christmas worshipers, but to say,
if any man will come after me, let him deny
himself, and take up his cross, and follow me
(Matt. 16:24).
Dear reader, please check up your real
relationship with Jesus, your Creator and prepare
to meet Him in the Rapture day, any time now.
