RUKUN NEGARA

Kepercayaan kepada tuhan

Malaysians must acknowledge God's supremacy. Following
religious teachings fosters noble character and helpfulness to all,
regardless of race. Religion shapes societal spirituality, with Islam
as the official religion, while other beliefs are freely practiced. The
Constitution ensures freedom of religious practice and institution
management.

Kesetiaan kepada Raja dan Negara

The second principle of the Rukun emphasizes loyalty and
allegiance to the King and Country. This loyalty is crucial as the
King and Country symbolize strength and stability in Malaysia.
Respecting and obeying laws and regulations established by the
government is essential.

whole country should be governed by law. The princbehavior,

in line with the Budi Bahasa and Pure Values campaign. It

behavior. Polite and moral conduct fosters harmony in a diverse
society and helps create a disciplined, cohesive community. It
condemns arrogance and offensive actions, promoting mutual
respect regardless of race, religion, or social status. Practicing
these values is essential for national harmony and avoiding
conflicts.
ǪUESTION:
Rukun Negara is the Malaysian declaration of national philosophy
instituted by royal proclamation on August 31st, 1G70, in reaction to a
serious racial riot known as the 13 May Incident, which occurred in
1G6G. The incident proved at that time that Malaysian racial balance
and stability was fragile. Immediately thereafter, the Malaysian
government sought ways to foster unity among the various races in
Malaysia. One of the methods used to encourage unity is the Rukun
Negara. Do you think that the objectives of Rukun Negara has been
achieved?

Yes, I agree about that, Rukun Negara made our country harmony
and peace, we can get along with each other race without racial
disputes. Because it is existed so that we will live together without
any conflictnot only that the Rukun Negara provide us an
environment which is peaceful and harmony to live together
with so many races, and it also improve Malaysia’s image.
Rukun Negara taught us a phrase which is united we stand,
divided we fall because all of us is following the Rukun Negara.
