THE REPORT OF THE CATHOLIC YOUTH ORGANISATION OF NIGERIA ILORIN DIOCESE, PRESENTED AT

IBADAN ECCLESIASTICAL PROVINCE THIRF MEETING OF THE YEAR HELD AT OYO DIOCESE, OYO
STATE ON THE 25TH NOVEMBER, 2023.

1.0 INTRODUCTION
We give glory and honour to God Almighty for His grace on the youth of Ilorin Diocese. We thank him for
how far He has been helping us since the beginning of the year. May His name be praised now and forever (Amen).

2.0 ACTIVITIES
From June till date, we had the following activities:
● One diocesan meeting at the St Micahel Catholic Church, on July 1st, 2023
● Diocesan Harvest, 16th July, 2023 at the St. James’ Catholic Church, Sabo-Oke (Ilorin Deanery).
● Diocesan Convention, 29th August-September 2nd , 202 at Omu-Aran3

3.0 FUTURE PROGRAMS

 There will be diocesan meeting on the 2nd December, 2023.

In a special way, we appreciate our Diocesan Administrator, Very Rev. Fr. Anselm Lawani, for his Advice
and support in all ramifications. We pray that God Almighty in His mercy, grants him the necessary good health and
strength to serve Him more in His Vineyard.

We also appreciate our Chaplain, Rev. Michael Olaifa for his unalloyed support and total commitment
towards the growth of the CYON in the diocese. May His grace and mercy never depart from him.
