Y = st worked with color Sunflower
Ch2 doesn’t count as a st. So the first st is worked in the st at the base of Ch2.
The bag is worked in rounds but you must turn after each round to work on the right side and
on the wrong side.
How to work a puff: *yo, insert hook in the indicated st, yo, pull through the st, yo, pass
through 2 loops* repeat 4 times in total. You have 5 loops on hook. Yo, pass through all sts.
How to change color: work the last yo of the last st in the current color with the new color.
BAG
With col. 91 and col. 24 yarns and 3 mm (US D/3) hook
Note: each hdc Y is worked with one strand color Sunflower (24) that you prepared before.
Work hdc with the main color, then work the st in yellow, and continue to work with the
main color, leaving the yellow yarn in the back of the work, waiting for the next round. In the
following rounds, hdc Y, bpdc Y and fpdc Y are worked with the yarn left in previous round.
Round 3 (RS): Ch2, 13 hdc, 1 hdc Y, 10 hdc, 1 hdc Y, work the rest of the round in hdc, sl st in
first hdc. Turn
Round 5 (RS): Ch2, hdc until Y st. Work 1 fpdc Y in the Y st, hdc until next Y st, 1 fpdc Y in the
Y st. Work the rest of the round in hdc, sl st in first hdc. Turn
Round 10 (WS): Repeat Round 4. Enlarge the loop and remove the hook.
Horizontal line: With RS facing, on round 10, count 10 sts to the right from the right Yellow
line. With 2 strands of Sunflower held together (yarn from outside and from inside of the
skein) and 3 mm (US D/3) hook, join yarn BETWEEN the 9th and the 10th st, round 10.
Round 11 (RS): Ch2, hdc until Y st. Work 1 hdc Y in the Y st, hdc until next Y st, 1 hdc Y in the
Y st. Work the rest of the round in hdc, sl st in first hdc. Turn

Cut the yarn, leaving a long tail for 6 stars to sew them later and pull. Insert hook from back

With Black and Pink yarn (I used Black (124) and Candyfloss (45) Friends Cotton 8/4)

Place one star with a face on the back of the bag and sew it in place. (See picture above as
reference)
Join the other stars together, putting the wrong side of a star with a face against the wrong
side of a star without face. Use the long tail to sew them together, passing through both
loops of each st, and both ch1 on top of each point. (Photo 6)
