E: Good Morning, my name is David Flores. i´m the head of human resources for Lipi. I will conduct the
following interview.

C: Good morning, nice to meet you, my name is Carolina.

E: Well, let’s start with the interview. What do you know about our company?

C: Corona is a retail clothing company with more than 37 years of tradition in Chile, it has more than 50 stores
all around the country, and nowadays has an important focus on sustainability and taking care of the
environment.

E: How does the work between business administration engineering compare internally and externally?

C: The focus of business administration work is An engineer relies on his technical skills, while a manager
relies on the skills of his team members and gets the job done through motivation. The latter is always focused
on people, while an engineer is always focused on technology. The difference between a manager and an
engineer in handling management jobs comes down to differences in approaches and the way they orient
themselves when faced with different tasks.

While engineers focus on the job at hand, managers' focus is on the team they are assigned to perform a task.
Managers analyze the budget, available resources, and time constraint before they begin to feel comfortable.

C: Because I think that with my experience and leadership, I have the aptitude for the job you are offering. I
also think that the company has a bright future with their statement that includes sustainability and

C: Which software programs do you know how to work?

E: In my years of work, I have a deep knowledge of Microsoft Excel, I also work with ACL Analytics and
have experience with DeFontana ERP Software.

C: What are your salary aspirations?

E: My salary expectations are according to what the company needs me to do for them, and about the value
that my work can contribute to optimizing internal processes, which will allow Corona to achieve their
